Such sincere gratitude flustered Vivianne, but she didn’t show it.

She was a Devil Empress, after all; she had seen enough of life not to embarrass herself.

Plus, although she had gotten a little comfortable with the others, she was still unfamiliar with Night.

When she interacted with others at first, she had expected everyone to praise Night all the time, but that was not what happened.

Everyone, even the ones cosplaying as maids, Lilith and Eve, were like distinct individuals. In fact, even though they cared deeply about Night, they rarely talked about him.

Whenever they met, they had their own girly things to discuss.

Like how, after their evolution, Lilith and Eve had changed drastically and almost looked human. They were all over the place; most of their time was spent looking in the mirror. Trying to doll themselves up.

The ruckus they had created was not less than a girl who hit puberty.

They looked like nervous teenagers who were terrified they would revert back to how they were if they didn’t check a mirror once every ten minutes.

They had even pestered her nonstop after they found out from Death that Vivianne carried makeup sets with her.

You wondering why a Devil Empress had a makeup set? Because its convenient even if it cost a fortune.

Aside from the maids, the one who had changed the most was Death; gone was her skeletal appearance. Now she looked like a noble lady with white hair and piercing blue eyes.

With a height of six feet, she looked like a top model. Right now, she was sitting beside Sara and her mother, taking care of them while the others were here.

As for watching over the two comatose patients, everyone took turns. Because everyone had to train and do other things so they had created a schedule.

Unlike before, everyone took training very seriously now.

The one training everyone was [Dream].

Over the past week, everyone had improved. Knowing she was in the presence of a Goddess, Vivianne wanted to train under her as well, but unfortunately, her body still refused to function properly.

It was a good thing her level seemed to remain locked around Level 50, so anything she ate was absorbed completely; otherwise, it would have been embarrassing to constantly trouble the others to help her to the restroom.

"It was my pleasure," Vivianne said softly. "I did what I could, though it seems it was not all perfect." She was referring to the comatose Sara, Death’s mother, and her own paralyzed state.

"No, this is more than I could ask for," Night replied genuinely.

Vivianne acknowledged his words with a soft smile.

[Dream] clapped her hands to gain everyone’s attention. She gestured for Night to sit down and then began.

"Everyone, as you are aware of the things that happened recently..." [Dream] said, looking at everyone and finally stopping at Vivianne.

Seeing Vivianne nod, [Dream] continued, "We are here today not to talk about training, but to discuss our present and our future."

She turned and started writing on the blackboard.

She wrote ’Timeline’ at the top and then drew a line down the center of the blackboard, splitting it in two.

On the left side, she wrote ’10 Years’, and opposite to it on the right side, she wrote ’Tower of Games’.

"As you all know, in ten years we have to be there, and we have very little information about this place," [Dream] explained.

She then proceeded to share everything they already knew about the it, just so everyone was on the same page.

"What we do know is that this place is not something that can be taken lightly. We need to gather all the strength we can before this deadline," [Dream] concluded.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Next, she wrote ’Dead God’ on the right side but didn’t specify a timeline on the left.

"Next is the Dead God in Death Zone No.1," [Dream] stated. "We don’t know when or even if we can return from the ’Tower of Games’, so before that happens, we need to see if we can take that corpse with us."

Vivianne raised her hand. [Dream] paused, and everyone looked at her.

"How sure are you that we may not return from this ’Tower of Games’ place?" Vivianne asked.

"I am not sure," [Dream] admitted. "But from the way [Zethe-thoth] spoke about it, even if there is a way to leave that place, it’s not something that will happen soon. Plus, we have to consider the time difference."

Everyone nodded.

[Dream] pointed at Vivianne and said, "Just like how time flows differently in Hell, we can assume something similar will happen there."

"Yes," Vivianne confirmed. "Time in Hell moves a lot faster than here on the Surface World."

"Hell and Earth are different dimensions," [Dream] elaborated. "But if you think about it, even on different planets, the measurement of time is different. Factors like the sun, orbital distance, moons, planet size, star grade, surrounding celestial bodies, and the fundamental laws of the planet all have to be taken into consideration."

"So we can expect that once we leave, we have to tie up all loose ends here, or forget about them," Night deduced.

"Yes. That is the true agenda of today’s meeting. We need to know exactly what things we have to accomplish before the deadline." She firmly underlined the ’10 Years’ on the board for emphasis.

Vivianne looked at the blackboard and realized how serious this was. If what they said was correct, then she only had ten years to accomplish her goal, or she would have to consider breaking her bond in the worst-case scenario.

She didn’t know if they would help her with her vengeance, and she couldn’t see herself getting strong enough in a mere decade to face Aathan when she had failed to do so after five hundred years of relentless cultivation.

"Next is Alze-beus’s main body," [Dream] continued. "We need to kill this guy and feed him to Night. I can feel this will enhance Night’s foundation immensely and prepare him for the upcoming challenges."

Everyone agreed. Besides, they all had a score to settle with the Devil Monarch, even though he claimed he killed Sara under the orders of [Zethe-thoth]. He had to go for everyone’s and Night’s peace of mind.

[Dream] then drew a slash mark beside Alze-beus and wrote ’[Zethe-thoth] and Diana’, putting a large question mark beside their names.

"These two... I am not sure we can actually kill them even if we want to," [Dream] admitted.

The mood in the hall became depressive. After all, they knew the issue here; apparently, [Zethe-thoth] was a Player, and they were all still clueless about what the ’Tower of Games’ signified.

"Even if we can’t kill them, we need to at least get as much information from them about this place as possible," Lucy stated.

"Yes," Eve chimed in. "Besides, this Void God was likely the reason Master was locked up in that facility for seven years."

"He blocked the divine connection between [Blaze] and Master, so we can assume he had a way to block the System as well," Lilith analyzed. "Which would explain why Death and Master didn’t have access to the System until they were outside the facility."

"It’s good that everyone is getting on track and finally starting to use their heads," [Dream] praised.

Everyone shot her an annoyed look.

"Unlike Death, I always use my brains," Lucy scoffed.

"Hiss! Hiss!" Nuwa hissed defensively. (I am the smartest, you plebeians!)

"I use my head!" Sage defended herself.

Though she looked like a Goddess, [Dream] was nothing if not a tease, and she had lost all her divine majesty in their eyes by now.

[Dream]’s lips twitched. It was like she had lost all her aura.

It seems i need to do some Aura Farming to gain some of my dignity back .

Turning back to the board, she wrote ’Training’ and added ’5 Years’ beside it.

Facing them again, [Dream] declared, "For the next five years, we will focus strictly on training each and every one of you, so that you are prepared for what is to come."

Then she turned back to the board again and wrote ’Sin Of Hunger’. This time, she didn’t specify a timeline beside it.

"The Devil Monarch’s corpse will only last for four weeks," [Dream] warned. "Before that runs out, we need to find a way to feed Night so that he doesn’t go mad from the hunger."

This time, everyone, including [Dream], had a solemn look on their face.

"Is there a cure for this curse?" Zero asked.

"One needs the help of a True Devil. The only other solution is for Night to kill Alze-beus completely. Maybe that can solve the problem." [Dream] turned and drew a double underline beneath Alze-beus’s name. "Hence, it must be our priority to kill his main body regardless of the situation before the ten-year mark. And for that to happen, you all need to grow stronger. A lot stronger."

Lucy gulped. "How strong?"

[Dream] smirked. "God-level strong."

Vivianne looked at her, astonished.

Suddenly, her dim future looked bright. If what [Dream] said was true, then achieving God-level strength meant getting her vengeance was no longer a pipe dream, but a genuine possibility.

After the meeting, everyone was motivated. They immediately started training inside the Inner World, since the Nightmare Castle on the outside would be instantly destroyed if they went all out.

While this happened, Night was walking quietly through the corridor toward the room where Sara and Death’s mother rested.
