Chapter 254: The Dire Situation

BOOM!!

The collision between Rose and the flaming Diamond-Tier tiger sent a shockwave through the chamber that cracked the floor in a hundred different directions. The tiger’s claws, wreathed in flames hot enough to melt steel, raked across Rose’s crimson scales, leaving glowing trails of molten rock in their wake.

But Rose didn’t back down. Her jaws snapped shut around the tiger’s foreleg, and the moment its blood touched her fangs, she began to drain it with terrifying speed.

The tiger roared in agony, its flames flickering as its life force was pulled away.

But before Rose could finish it, the ice serpent struck from the side.

Bliizz!!

A beam of absolute zero shot from its mouth, freezing the ground beneath Rose and encasing her tail in thick ice. The crimson python hissed in frustration as she found herself momentarily trapped, her blood-draining abilities useless against a beast made entirely of frozen energy.

"Rose!!" Aria screamed from the other side of the chamber.

She turned to look at Neva, who was currently engaged with three Diamond-Tier beasts at once: the stone golem, the lightning bird, and the shadow wolf.

Golden circles spun wildly around her, creating weapons of light faster than the eye could follow, but the pressure from three Diamond-Tier opponents was overwhelming.

BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!

The golem’s fists slammed into the ground, creating earthquakes that sent Neva tumbling through the air. The lightning bird dove at her with wings crackling with electricity, each feather acting like a lightning bolt. And the shadow wolf moved through darkness itself, appearing and disappearing in different locations, its attacks impossible to predict. ℓ.

"Sha Sha!!" Neva won’t lose!!

She raised all eight limbs, and the golden circles above her multiplied a hundredfold. Spears, hammers, chains, and blades rained down like a meteor shower, each one crackling with enough energy to level a building.

The golem raised its arms to block, but the weapons pierced through its stone skin like it was made of paper.

The lightning bird screeched and unleashed a torrent of electricity that collided with Neva’s light constructs in a blinding explosion.

The shadow wolf lunged from the darkness, its jaws aimed at Neva’s throat.

But a crimson whip shot out from nowhere and wrapped around the wolf’s neck, yanking it backwards mid-lunge.

"Hiss!!" Nobody touches little sister!!

Rose had broken free from the ice, her body covered in cracks that glowed with internal heat. She had abandoned her fight with the tiger and the serpent to help Neva, knowing that if they didn’t take down these Diamond-Tier beasts quickly, they would all be finished.

The two Terra Beasts fought back-to-back, Rose’s blood whips and Neva’s light weapons creating a deadly dance that kept the five Diamond-Tier beasts at bay.

But fighting against such overwhelming odds by themselves was a losing battle.

The Diamond-Tier master watched from the sidelines with a cold smile on his face.

"Look at them struggle," he said, his voice carrying clearly through the chaos. "They fight so valiantly, but they don’t understand. Diamond-Tier is not just about power. It’s about dominion over the elements themselves."

He raised his hand.

"ROAR!!!"

The five beasts redoubled their attacks.

The flaming tiger created a hurricane of fire that threatened to engulf the entire chamber. The ice serpent froze the air itself, creating glaciers that crashed down from above.

The golem summoned stone pillars from the ground, each one large enough to crush a building. The lightning bird became a living storm, its electricity arcing across the chamber in a web of death.

And the shadow wolf manipulated darkness itself, creating zones of pure darkness where light couldn’t even exist.

"Go!! And show them what true power looks like!!"

Under the direction of their battle master, all five Diamond-Tier Terra Beasts began to move, each of them coming on with more ferocity than the previous one.

The first move was the ice serpent, as it brought down the massive glaciers on their heads from above.

"Hiss!!~" Don’t underestimate Rose!!

Seeing those giant, incoming glaciers, Rose gathered blood at the tip of her tail, turning it a deep, blood-red as it pulsed with power. The next second, she swung it in the air, creating a thin yet sharp blade of blood that sliced through the glacier, cutting it in half.

BOOM!!!

It came crashing down on both sides, trapping both Neva and Rose in between. But before they could let out a sigh of relief from both opposite ends of the ravine created by the glacial ice. Their opponents unleashed a thunderstorm and fire hurricane, respectively, trapping them in the middle.

Seeing this, Neva was the one who stepped up as she started creating Screens of light that could block these attacks and stacked them on top of each other.

BOOM!!!

Before she could take any more action, their opponent’s attack reached their location and collided with the screens of light, destroying them one after another. It sent shockwaves throughout the ground, cracking the ice around them.

"Let me see where you can escape now. Golem! Raise the ground from beneath them!!! Shadow, cover them in darkness!!" The Diamond-Tier Terra Master spoke with an excited expression on his face.

Suddenly, the ground beneath both Neva and Rose shook, then started to pivot them into the air, rising tall as a brand-new small hill appeared out of thin air. In the air, the Shadow Wolf was lying in wait as he covered them in the domain of his making, blocking out all their senses.

Feeling this, both Neva and Rose started to panic a little bit. Just as they were getting more and more clustered, a voice rang out in their heads.

’Rose, Neva, it’s me. Don’t panic. I’ll get you out of there.’

Hearing the steadfast voice of Raiden in their head unconsciously made them relax.

’Neva. I want you to create a few circles of light. Rose, wrap yourself around Neva, then write those circles out of the domain. It’s not big enough to contain you guys. Just keep heading in one direction at full speed and don’t think about anything else. Okay? Now go.’

Both Neva and Rose trusted him almost blindly. As soon as he finished his words, Neva created a few circles of light to act as a platform, while Rose wrapped herself around Neva. Then, under the boost of light, they started flying at maximum speed in one direction.

Within a few seconds, they were able to get out of the domain of darkness.

As soon as they reached out, they were immediately surrounded by attacks of different elements from all directions.

"Rose, create a blood dome!!" Raiden’s shout rang out from afar as Rose followed his command almost immediately, creating a circular dome that surrounded both of them from within.

BANG!!

But the dome created at the last second was not strong enough to block all the attacks, as the electricity pierced through it, attacking both Neva and Rose, flinging them into the distance.

Under the combined assault of their opponents’ attempt to overwhelm them, Rose and Neva were pushed back, step by step.

"Rose... Neva..." Raiden’s voice was tight with worry.
