Chapter 134: Chapter 86: Jiang Wanyi: Let’s Get Out of Here

"Don’t say such things!"

Fang Youqing felt a little helpless at her son’s unfiltered comment.

When she looked at Chen Yuan, it seemed he was embarrassed too.

Fang Youqing felt a little like laughing.

’He’s still just a big kid, after all.’

Zhao Wen Cheng froze, seemingly not fully understanding his mother’s words.

"Doesn’t Uncle have one?"

Chen Yuan covered his face.

’Uncle plays with you for this long, and you just go and revoke my man card, huh?’

Now it was Fang Youqing’s turn to be embarrassed. There was no way to answer that question.

’Say he does?’

’But I can’t bring myself to say that.’

’But I can’t say he doesn’t, either.’

’This little rascal. Why does he have so many questions?’

"Go play with your toys."

As she spoke, Fang Youqing pulled his pants up.

Seeing his mother’s stern face, Zhao Wen Cheng didn’t dare say another word.

"Sister Qing... it’s getting late, so I’ll be heading back."

"Stay a little longer. It’s still early," Fang Youqing said politely.

"I have some things to take care of for the student council, so I need to go back and check on them."

"Alright then, I’ll give you a ride."

"No, no, it’s fine. You should stay with your son."

Chen Yuan got up and went to the door to put on his shoes.

"No, I insist. I’m taking you."

In Fang Youqing’s mind, Chen Yuan had come to help without expecting anything in return. Since she hadn’t picked him up, she had to at least drive him home. She absolutely couldn’t let him go back on his own.

Without going back to change her clothes, she slipped on a pair of sneakers at the door and left with Chen Yuan.

The yoga pants and oversized T-shirt gave her the look of someone heading out for a workout.

"Uncle, when are you coming to play with me again?" Zhao Wen Cheng asked, following them.

"I’ll come play with you again in a few days."

"You have to promise."

"I promise."

Chen Yuan held out his fist, and the two of them bumped.

As Fang Youqing watched, she found the gesture incredibly sweet, like a pact between a father and son.

"Alright, say bye-bye to Uncle."

"Bye-bye, Uncle."

"Bye."

Chen Yuan opened the door. "Aunt Liu, I’m leaving now."

"Come over whenever you’re free."

"Okay."

After a few more pleasantries, Chen Yuan left.

Fang Youqing drove Chen Yuan to the university. Driving with one hand, she had an air about her that was no less imposing than a mob boss.

When they arrived at the university, Chen Yuan got out of the car.

"Sister Qing, I’m off."

"From now on, when you two don’t have class, come over to my place for dinner."

"Okay."

After Chen Yuan left, Fang Youqing drove back home.

Zhao Wen Cheng was sitting on the playmat, looking a little listless—not nearly as lively as when Chen Yuan had been there.

"They’ve met so few times you could count them on one hand, I never expected they’d get along so well," Aunt Liu said, coming over.

"I was wondering about that myself. He’s never even like that with me," Fang Youqing said.

"Is it because they’re both boys, so they’re on the same wavelength when they play?"

"I don’t think that’s it," Aunt Liu said after a moment of thought.

"When his dad was at home, they couldn’t play together like that. And none of the other little boys in the neighborhood get along this well with Chengcheng, either."

"Could it be that he just has a special connection with Chen Yuan?"

"Maybe they really do. What’s that saying? They just clicked."

Fang Youqing laughed. "It really seems that way."

"Actually, I have an idea."

"Go on."

"When he’s free, we could have Xiaoyuan come over for meals. It wouldn’t take up too much of his time. He could play with the boy for a little while, I could cook something nice, and we could give him a good, home-cooked meal for a change."

"That’s what I was thinking at first, too. But he’s a student and has his own life. I’d feel bad about bothering him all the time."

"I think you’re overthinking it," Aunt Liu said with a smile.

"Look at him and Xiaoning—they’re obviously dating. As her older sister, it’s completely normal for you to have him over for dinner."

Aunt Liu didn’t understand the complicated ins and outs of young people’s relationships—the ambiguous "talking" stage, the honeymoon phase, and all that. She just assumed the two of them were already dating.

"We’ll have to see. If he has time, I’ll ask him to come over for dinner more often. Like you said, we’ll just consider it giving him a decent meal."

"Okay."

After playing with her son for a while, Fang Youqing took him to the bathroom for his bath.

Zhao Wen Cheng was old enough now that bath time was more casual, but the routine was similar to Mili’s. You couldn’t just wash them right away; you had to let them play for a while first.

She filled the tub, placed her son inside, tossed in a few small toys, and then left him to it.

With her son occupied, Fang Youqing stripped off her clothes. Her figure was graceful and voluptuous, with striking curves that hadn’t sagged much at all. There was even still a hint of youthful fullness to her.

If you didn’t see her son, it would be hard to imagine she was the mother of a two-year-old.

Standing under the showerhead, Fang Youqing began to wash. About ten minutes later, she was nearly finished.

"Mommy..."

Zhao Wen Cheng said suddenly, a Transformer in his hand, as he stared motionlessly at Fang Youqing.

"What is it?"

"So beautiful."

Fang Youqing paused. In that single moment, her heart was filled to the brim.

"Kisses for Mommy."

After drying herself off, Fang Youqing began to wash him, carefully cleaning his private areas several times.

"Aunt Liu," Fang Youqing called softly from the bathroom.

Aunt Liu, who was in the living room, knew the bath was over. She came in with a towel and carried Zhao Wen Cheng out.

Though Fang Youqing was finished with her own shower, she still had a few things to wrap up: her skincare routine, a face mask, and tidying the bathroom.

By the time she was done, her son was already tucked into bed. Aunt Liu was sitting on the edge, holding a tube of ointment.

"Aunt Liu, I can take it from here. You should go get some rest."

"Let’s do it together. It’ll be a little easier for you."

"It’s okay, I can handle it. You go get some rest."

"Alright."

Aunt Liu returned to her room. Fang Youqing sat on the bed, tied up her hair, and prepared to apply the ointment on her son.
