No one knew where Zhang Menglong had gone. They couldn’t find any trace of him in the entire base, and even after pulling the surveillance footage, all they could see was Zhang Menglong walking into the bathroom and then never coming out again.

He disappeared for a full half month. During those half a month, the Ancient Humans intensified their offensive against the Guardian organization. A large number of branch bases were destroyed, casualties were disastrous, and several times when reinforcements arrived, all they saw was wreckage and corpses strewn across the ground.

The battle between Humans and Ancient Humans had completely erupted!

Because they had always been suppressed by the Guardian organization, the Ancient Humans had previously kept a low profile in their operations. But with No.1 Ancient Human’s breakthrough, they had completely reversed and suppressed at the Peak level of power. Now they no longer needed to hide and skulk around.

Just a few days ago, the Ancient Humans fully stepped into the public eye. They even issued a statement saying they would reclaim the management rights over this Continent. New Humans must accept their rule if they want to continue surviving.

This near-dictatorial demand for rule was immediately resisted by the entire Continent, and some countries even directly switched to Zaun mode.

In the eyes of the Ancient Humans, New Humans were just a batch of modified products with incomplete strength and incomplete minds. They had always believed that they themselves were the most perfect Life Forms, and that New Humans should become their slaves.

And now, these low-level New Humans actually dared to fantasize about resisting their rule.

In just a few days, thousands of countries disappeared directly from the map of the Continent; they had been completely obliterated.

Under this crushing pressure, the rule of the Ancient Humans was quickly established. A large number of countries and powers chose to become the running dogs of the Ancient Humans.

Zhang Menglong only heard about this after leaving Super God Academy. He hadn’t expected that in just half a month, so many things would happen and that the war between Ancient Humans and New Humans would fully erupt!

“Menglong, where the hell have you been these days?” When they saw Zhang Menglong, those big shots all lost their composure.

“Obviously, I went to do some research.” As Zhang Menglong spoke, he took out a crimson pill. This was the fruit of his half-month effort. It had no name; it was refined by Zhang Menglong together with a group of teachers from Super God Academy after extensive research and discussion.

“Any of you want to try the taste?” Zhang Menglong held out the pill.

“Is this an elixir?” The leader of the Blood Martialists stared at the pill; he could sense the terrifying Energy contained within it.

“I gave it a name: ‘Great Strength’!” Zhang Menglong said. “After taking it, it should strengthen your body. Maybe not to the level of Ancient Humans, but at least far stronger than now.”

“Should?” The leader of the Blood Martialists had caught that one word.

“Relax. Even if it doesn’t work, you definitely won’t die from eating it. Worst case, you get diarrhea!”

The Blood Martialist leader’s mouth twitched. He was acting really casual about it. The situation was already this critical—did he not understand that if the overall strength of Humans didn’t improve soon, they might very well be wiped out by the Ancient Humans?

“Just eat it and you’ll know!” Zhang Menglong shrugged. “Don’t tell me you don’t dare? Want me to give it to someone else?”

“Who says I don’t dare?” The Blood Martialist leader might have lived longer than anyone knew and was an old Monster, but his temper was explosive, and goading him worked every single time.

He snatched the pill from Zhang Menglong’s hand and tossed it straight into his mouth.

In an instant, an unusual crimson glow spread out from inside his body, like a blazing fire sweeping through every part of him.

Groans kept escaping his mouth as if he were enduring excruciating pain.

“He’s not gonna die on us, right?” the others asked anxiously.

“‘Great Strength’ is changing his genetic structure. It’s normal to hurt. Ordinary people might not be able to endure it, but he should be fine!” Zhang Menglong said.

The degree of this genetic transformation was much more brutal than any Genetic Potion Zhang Menglong had ever used. Ordinary people really might not be able to withstand it.

But who was the leader of the scholars? He was a literal Monster who had clawed his way here. The hardship and danger he’d gone through were beyond normal imagination, and he had faced true hopelessness more than once—yet he had always held on. You could hardly find a single person on the entire Continent whose willpower surpassed his.

Sure enough, after half an hour, his breathing gradually steadied. Zhang Menglong knew then that he had succeeded!

Suddenly, the aura within his body began to soar—tenfold, twentyfold, a hundredfold! It was a level of power beyond words.

He slowly opened his eyes; they were filled with indescribable excitement and joy.

“Well?” The other big shots immediately asked impatiently.

“Feels incredible—too marvelous!” He marveled at his seemingly reborn body. “I even feel like I could kill that dog-shit No.1 with a single punch right now!”

“Be more confident—one finger would do it!”

By Zhang Menglong’s estimation, the Blood Martialist leader’s strength was now at least a thousand times greater than before!

His body was a post-birth modification, so of course it couldn’t truly compare with authentic Ancient Humans. But now, at the Peak combat level, Humans had once again seized absolute superiority!

“Got any more of those pills?” The others stared at Zhang Menglong, barely able to hold back.

Zhang Menglong chuckled. “Not a lot. Just enough for one each!”

…

The Holy Kingdom of Heiya was the first country to surrender and submit to the Ancient Humans, and now it had become their base of operations.

At this moment, they were plotting a plan. As No.1’s strength gradually stabilized, it was time to wipe out the entire Guardian organization in one stroke!

Once the Guardians’ core was gone, the rest would be like worthless chickens and dogs, collapsing in no time.

“No.1, the number of those revived has reached 1,845. Over 60% have recovered to Ultimate Life Form Eighth Grade and above.”

Too much time had passed—so much that even the Ancient Humans had forgotten their own names. Now, they addressed one another the same way Humans did. But they didn’t care; name or number, it was all just a call sign.

“That’s enough!” As No.1’s power recovered to Ultimate Life Form Ninth Grade, he alone was enough to pin down all of Humans’ Peak combat power!

“Tomorrow is reckoning day!”

No.1 recalled how, not long after he had just awakened, those Guardian big shots had chased him around so badly he had to hide everywhere. It was finally time to take revenge.

“All of you, get out here!” Suddenly, a voice blasted across the sky above the Holy Kingdom of Heiya like thunder.

In an instant, all the Ancient Humans appeared in the air. The one provoking them was actually just a young man who had only just stepped into the Dominator realm.

“You?”

No.1 recognized Zhang Menglong at a glance.

“The successor of Ancient God power?” He looked at Zhang Menglong with a half-smile. “Do you seriously think that just because you’ve advanced to Ultimate Life Form Seventh Grade, you can deal with us?”

“Of course I don’t think that,” Zhang Menglong said with a grin. “I’m not enough. But they are!”

Zhang Menglong took a few steps back. “Brothers, go!”
