I have a Multiversal Chat Room, so what?
Chapter 122: Magic, What is it Good For? (Part 1)
Sorry for the delay but It's becoming Summer here and everything feels like its on fire, including me. Real life has been brutal for the last week or so and I've been feeling like I'm dying... But anyway, I said I'll release semi-regularly so here we are... I hope you enjoy the chapter!

"Spread out and guard every doorway, standard patrol pattern." I ordered my FR2s as Lily Potter stepped out of the hallway and softly joined her son in watching us get our bearings.
The 100 droids immediately responded with "As the creator commands", before marching off into the house with their weapons held against their armoured chest plates. Harry and Lily watched them march in wonder, the former's reaction being slightly subdued in comparison to the latter's.
"... Why the fuck am I seeing characters from Harry Potter...?" Emma nervously asked, her body flickering in and out of diamond form as her telepathy lightly caressed the exterior of my thoughts.
"Because they are Harry Potter and Lily Potter. Fiction is just information from other universes or multiverses slipping into the subconscious minds of people predisposed to the concept of everything existing all at once." I stated as she just stared at me in bewilderment.
"Surprise~!" I sassily continued as her stare turned into a scowl.
"God he's hot when he does that..." Anna whispered to Barriss, my Mirialan lover nodding with a small flush in her cheeks.
I coughed instead of laughing whilst my sister's face scrunched in her effort to formulate questions and responses. Fortunately she was interrupted half way through her thoughts as the fireplace flared a bright green and deposited two men who were tangled together and groaning in pain. This was when I noticed that we were in the dining room and that there were several moving portraits on the walls watching me in clear curiosity.
"Ughhh, I hate floo travel!" A man that looked eerily similar to Harry groaned out.
"Get your knee off my gonads prongs!" Sirius shouted as he rolled to the side, several of his bones cracking mutinously before he landed a metre away on his face.
"Seriously you two? You can't even travel properly!?" Lily chastised the men whilst she leaned down to help her husband off of the floor.
"I like her..." Tony proclaimed before a watch on his wrist started beeping, Jarvis reminding him that he was with Pepper and she wouldn't appreciate him looking at other women. He started grouching to his AI whilst I just chuckled at the antics of the Marauders.
My chuckles apparently snapped the two men out of their funk however as James Potter whipped his head towards me and narrowed his eyes behind his circular glasses, which were askew from the tumble he had just taken.
Sirius pulled his face up from the ground, his nose and forehead red, before blinking several times in my direction. "Drecarios? Great to see you again, though we only saw each other a few days ago." The black patriarch sluggishly got to his feet, wiping his clothes off as he righted himself.
"Ohhh! He's the one who saved you and my son from the space-alien stuff right?" James queried happily, his eyes tracking the last few droids that were exiting the room.
"Yes dad... Now, we need to visit Gringotts. You want to come with us Drecarios? I can get Tonks to settle your, sister?" He paused for a second and nodded to himself before continuing, "Tony and your, friends? Settled..."
Barriss blushed beautifully whilst Anna gained a twinkle in her eyes at being called my 'friends'. My goth lover was gathering too much mirth from the unasked question in Harry's voice.
"This is Barriss and Anna, my lovely 'companions'," I raised my eyebrows in his direction, trying to convey the message clearly; which he understood as his eyes widened extensively, "My sister, Emma Frost... And of course Tony, who is too busy being scolded by Jarvis to talk right now..." The billionaire let a minute squawk of indignation leave his lips before Jarvis started back in on him. The AI really liked Pepper.
"Wicked... So, I'm assuming you're coming with us to Gringotts?" Harry trod onwards in the conversation, ignoring the shenanigans of the technomancer.
"Yeah sure." I shrugged.
"We'll stay here then honey, we want to choose our room and spend some time getting to know one another." Anna declared before grabbing Barriss's hand and whisking her off into the house, Kreatcher popping into existence behind them and rushing to follow.
I watched them both round a corner before the wizards and witches took my attention again.
"Are you sure your father should become Lord Potter again Harry?" Lily asked her son quietly, her tone inquisitive and worried.
The young man bobbed his head in confirmation.
"Yes mum. As it is I'll have to marry three to four women for each of the houses I am a part of." He grumbled.
"Five! You'll need five because I'm infertile." Sirius broke into the conversation, which led to the Potters collectively turning towards him and give worried looks.
"Infertile..." James gulped out.
"How...?" Lily asked.
"Azkaban does that to a man after a while. I was in there for 12 years, I'm lucky I'm alive." He waved the topic off. "But that doesn't matter, what does matter is that Harry is my heir and will need to marry five women!" He started cackling as his godson shot him a dread-filled glance.
"Huh, well... Maybe I can fix your infertility at some stage? I'd need to research into it before I do anything though." I musingly cut in, the old dog blinking at me before a wicked grin spread over his face.
"If you do that I'll blood adopt you into the family as my brother." Sirius declared siriusly before the floo flared once again and a pink haired woman with a considerable figure stepped out, her eyes immediately clinging to Harry before a small, nigh imperceptible, blush spread throughout her face.
"Who are you giving your blood to old man?" Nymphadora Tonk questioned casually.
"Not you, cousin-o'-mine~!" He sniped back, bringing a smile to her lips.
"That's a pity, could have gotten smashed off of it since you drink so much alcohol." She mused.
Shaking my head I started considering Sirius's problem, the conversation slipping away into my subconscious as my mind recorded everything happening and being said whilst I simply delved into semi-advanced biology. The Ancient knowledge outlined several techniques that could repair reproductive organs... The only problem is that it required sophisticated technologies that were only found in Atlantis and had no formal designs saved to the database. Surprisingly one of the Ancient actually had enough 'street-intelligence' to only have his work recorded on books.
"Okay, with all the sassing out of the way we need to get to the goblins before they hunt us down for wasting their time." Darth Revenant stated whilst grabbing Tonk's hand and dragging her towards the floo.
Varying responses followed but the young sith lord simply ignored their complaints as he whisked Tonks alongside him through the floo. Tony grumbled in the background before stalking towards us, and then he was stopped by Kreatcher who grabbed him and simply popped him away... He was fine, probably...
James and Lily followed their son through next whilst I grabbed Emma; who was still trying to comprehend what was going on. "I'll answer your questions later." I whispered in her ear as we walked through the green flames and were immediately spun around and flipped around several dozen times.
"I HATE YOUUUUUUUUU!" My sister screamed as the transport settled down and we were flung down a tube of space-time that slowed our speed down as we shifted to a vertical drop. A second or two of free-falling was abruptly ended as we were figuratively pushed forwards, our legs snapping forwards into an automatic walking-pose.
Used to being thrust into other spaces spatially I continued my stride. Emma, unfortunately, was not used to this mode of transport or anything related to it and half collapsed onto me as we emerged into the Leaky Cauldron... On entry I was holding my sister up by her arms, my stride became more akin to a march as Emma swallowed back the bile in her mouth. She was used to swallowing, so it was no issue...
*COUGH* I internally winced at how she would react to that specific train of logic before I realised the tavern was as silent as the dead. There were dozens and dozens of people around the room eyeing Harry and his parents with awe, horror and shock as they slowly strolled through the room. Goblins with hooked noses and pimply faces jealously looked towards their wands and sneered at the robes they wore. Wizards and Witches of all shapes, colours and creeds had stopped drinking and were more notably focussing on Harry and less on his parents... Then there were the few Veela in the room that were oozing desire towards Harry but held themselves back as their present company were pressing them into their sides.
Mugs floated from the bar over to one of the tables and settled in the centre of the tabletop. Several customers were smoking from pipes, the smokes varying in colour but carrying a whiff of nicotine and in some cases weed. A few house elves worked between the tables and were ignoring the Potter Procession, their floppy ears striking the edges of tables and peoples' clothes.
Every single Wizard and Witch had a wand or some form of focus, their hands never straying too far from them. It seemed that the books and movies did very little justice with regard to how sacred the connection between a magic-user and their wand was... At the very least the caution of the Wizarding World wasn't expressed properly.
I directed us towards Harry, Tonks and his family as the floo behind us flared once again, Sirius stumbling through before catching himself on an empty table and straightening himself out.
"I swear I'll make a new way of getting from place to place... I fucking swear it..." I heard the old dog mutter under his breath before he slipped in behind me and my sister. I noted that he was trying his best not to look at my sister in a sexual light, his eyes staying above the waistline.
The atmosphere changed slightly as many people flinched backwards at Sirius's appearance, their eyes expanding in fear or in the case of the Goblins, their lips opening wide in a vicious sneer. One of the Veela fainted as whispers started.
"Murderer..." , "Betrayed the Potters" , "Is he Lord Black?" , "Harry Potter walks with him..." , "Isn't that Lily Potter???"
The whispers whipped into a frenzy as we passed table after table, our entourage exiting the Cauldron into the adjacent alleyway. Camera flashes slapped into the far wall of the alley as the door closed behind us. Harry, with his basilisk-style glasses having been pulled onto his face, ambled up to the wall with his wand and pressed the password into the stones.
"Welcome to the Wizarding World." The boy-who-lived intoned as the wall caved backwards and disappeared, a long road stretching out in front of us that revealed hundreds of people striding up and down its length. Shops of all sizes and shapes hugged the perimeter of Diagon Alley with some even stretching into residential alleyways that supposedly sat next to the central magical district of Wizarding Britain.
Naturally we didn't waste much time exploring, Harry had a goal in mind for the day and we needed to concentrate on the mission. I frowned as a thought entered my mind.
"Where's Shiroe?" I inquired, causing Harry to slow his pace; his father taking lead now as he tried answering me.
"He's currently locked away in a room inside Grimmauld trying to replicate some of our more esoteric spells and magical works... I think he's currently working on spatial expansion magic or something?" He hummed before raising his hands in a 'what can you do' pose before speeding up a touch, Tonks dragging him back into a discussion on Auror training which he seemed taken with.
Our procession strode up the street in a garbled mess of conversations as Emma scanned her surroundings in mild awe and intrigue, her mind no doubt conjuring images of wearing magical jewellery and tiaras and such. Sirius was smugly ambling behind us, his cheshire grin punctuated by the witches and wizards near us flinching away from him. He hadn't been acquitted of his charges yet, it seemed... And the truly depressing fact was that many people simply ignored the presence of the Potters up ahead, which would immediately reframe the punishment he had suffered in Azkaban as a massive fuck up.
The group turned with the natural curve of the street, several hundred street lamps lighting with blue flame as the sun slowly dipped below the rooftops of the magical district.
"Ah, there we are." James announced a large white edifice of polished marble, limestone and basalt poking out just above his head.
"Looks really simple." Emma deadpanned as the golden etching of the bank came into view. 'Gringotts' was carved into an arch above the entrance-steps with each end of the name fracturing into minute slithers of gold that curled into the recesses of the stone it was etched into.
"Don't let them hear you say that, Goblins are a very proud people with a complex martial culture." Lily lectured as we closed in on the bank.
"She isn't wrong though... The style seems to be Greek-coded but lacks a lot of the finer details that you would find in Ancient Greek architecture." I supported my sister as I observed the startlingly simplistic edifice of an entire nation.
"How would you know what Ancient Greek looks like?" Lily asked harmlessly, her tone less snobbish and more curious.
"I've made an entire space station in the Corinthian style with touches of Doric and Ionic throughout. Plus, I have the ability to see the past through touch so I can easily replicate styles and techniques from the past that were thought lost." I explained absently as I felt a magical pulse thrum through my body. We were moving through the bank's wards.
"Space station...????" Lily squeaked out whilst Sirius and Harry chuckled at the hole she had dug herself into unknowingly.
"Yep~" I popped the 'p' at the end, which Emma snorted at involuntarily.
We passed by the doors and there was a poem, which I promptly ignored since it mattered very little to me since I could shut down the entire Wizarding economy in less than an hour. I didn't need to steal from a bank to gain wealth, I was the wealth.
The inside was far more luxuriously decorated with golden sconces at the edges of the marble room and a bright crystal-gold chandelier hanging from a frescoed ceiling. Several wooden podiums or desks sat at the edges of the room with barely enough room for a single goblin to move behind them. Doorways lined those small corridor-like passageways with the central teller's desk sitting higher than the rest and standing before one of the largest doors in the hall.
Harry, Lily and James strode up to the central teller as I noted the absence of 90% of the tellers in the room. The closing hours were probably sometime soon as there were younger-looking goblins sweeping the floor and mopping from the edges of the room inwards; by hand.
"I wish-" Harry was cut off part way through his speech.
"I know Lord Potter, you will be guided to your family manager." The teller sighed out in frustration, his beady eyes dimming in the face of the young Sith Lord's status.
"Do not interrupt me again," Harry bit out in a clipped tone, the older goblin flinching, "But otherwise, good work." Darth Revenant continued mellowly, before striding off in the direction of an approaching guide.
Lily and James looked to one another before following behind their son. Looking between Emma and Sirius I simply shrugged and continued following them. None of the goblins made trouble with us as we did so, their apparent fear of Harry far outweighing the threat that we could pose, in their eyes.
"So..... When did you put the fear of magic into the Goblins?" Sirius asked snidely, his eyes bursting with pride and joy at the antics of his godson.
"When the teller told me to fuck off and I took exception to that. Our family manager is far better than that teller ever will be, which is probably why he is a teller and the manager is where he is." Harry mused to himself.
"So what are we here to do?" I asked curiously, my mind mapping the passageways and alcoves I was spotting along the way.
"Oh... Shit, sorry. We are here to give my dad the Potter Lordship back, give Sirius his Lordship officially through the bank, make Moony a vassal and call upon a shit ton of life debts so that we can fight Dumbledore and Grindelwald on even footing politically." He explained succinctly, his voice straining every now and again as he no doubt surfed through memories and plans.
"Interesting plan. Feel like giving me a title of nobility? Make me an ally or whatever and then I can simply pay you a bunch of gold for access to this world..." I shared my random ass idea expecting to be rejected. Instead, I received a few thoughtful looks from the Potters before Harry shrugged.
"Sure, why not?" I blinked several times and almost started laughing at the casualness he spoke with.
'Did I just accidently a 'Lordship'?' I thought mirthfully as my sister just shook her head in exasperation.
My day was slowly getting better...
...
Omake:
"He scares me..." The head teller whined to his wife who also happened to be his secretary.
"Stop being a little bitch and get back to work! Our children are going to starve at the rate you work dear 'husband'!" The female goblinoid growled out as the male goblin slumped into his chair.
"yes dear..."
Several co-workers started laughing in the background as the floor cleaners giggled in their prepubescent voices.
"ENOUGH!" He screamed out.
Everything went silent.
"Good! Get back to work you gits!!!" He bellowed the command, the rest of the room lazily returning to their tasks.
"TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE!!!" His wife slapped him up the side of the head as his skull rebounded off of his desk.
