Chapter 1398 - 1397: Yuan Ya Old Demon’s Trump Card

Chapter 1398: Chapter 1397: Yuan Ya Old Demon’s Trump Card

"Cackle cackle cackle..."

Yuan Ya Old Demon cackled bizarrely, extending twisted claws to grab Master Tu Ka’s head.

The golden Buddha illusion manifested by the Buddha Banner shattered like a soap bubble as soon as it touched the claws.

"Little monk, surrender your life!"

"Amitabha Buddha!"

Master Fansa chanted the Buddha’s name, and the four-faced, four-armed Brahma Dharma Aspect flashed into existence behind Master Tu Ka.

Simultaneously, the four arms of the Golden Dharma Aspect stretched into the void, reappearing around Yuan Ya Old Demon.

"Celestial Demon, meet your end!"

As Master Fansa’s voice fell, the Buddha Light from the token shot directly at Yuan Ya Old Demon’s face, twelve prayer beads blasted into his Sea of Consciousness, and Eight Treasure Pure Water drowned his form.

Most importantly, the fourth hand behind Yuan Ya Old Demon finally flipped open the Buddhist Scripture.

"Great Brahma Heaven, Vedas."

Master Fansa began reciting, and the four-faced four-armed Brahma Dharma Aspect opened its eyes simultaneously.

"Celestial Demon, this humble monk has awaited you for a long time!"

A Brahma Heaven Buddha’s Intent manifested from the scripture’s surface, like a Little World, suddenly enveloping Yuan Ya Old Demon.

However, in the next moment, Yuan Ya Old Demon, just enveloped, vanished like the previously shattered Buddha Illusion.

Appearing before Master Tu Ka, the Primordial Fang Dog Demon Venerable was nothing but a Blinding Technique.

Although termed a Blinding Technique or Illusion Technique, it was far superior to those of street performers or the Illusion Technique Jade Court Daoist Yuting taught Lu Zheng.

Master Fansa finally showed surprise, changing the Seal Technique in his hand.

But then, two demon claws materialized from the void and grasped his wrists.

"Old monk, let me tell you, I truly enjoy playing pretend and hide and seek."

As the demonic Qi surged, blue demon fire spread over Master Fansa’s body.

"Amitabha Buddha!"

Though Master Fansa was startled, his Brahma Buddha Power gushed from within, transforming him into a golden Buddha statue.

"Ancestor!"

Master Tu Ka and six others were horrified, the six Brahma True Words Banners emitted golden light but were blocked by the demon fire surrounding Master Fansa.

"Little monk, with me close to you, today next year will be your memorial day."

Yuan Ya Old Demon laughed viciously; although Master Fansa’s golden Buddha Power was discomforting, his powerful Magical Power enveloped Master Fansa in demon fire, severing his connection with the array.

For a moment, Master Fansa found himself powerless to break Yuan Ya Old Demon’s restraint and reconnect with the Six True Brahma Heaven Array outside.

Thus, the Six True Brahma Heaven Array trapped Yuan Ya Old Demon within, while Yuan Ya Old Demon trapped Master Fansa at the array’s core.

Meanwhile, the six demon dog illusions that had not acted earlier erupted again, lunging at Master Tu Ka and the others.

But at this moment, Yuan Ya Old Demon’s full focus and power was on Master Fansa, leaving the demon dogs, although intelligent, weaker without his Magical Power support.

Correspondingly, seeing Master Fansa caught and falling behind, Master Tu Ka and others panicked, being driven to confusion by the six demon dog illusions.

...

Outside the array, Lu Zheng couldn’t help but look at Si Lingxi, "You say Yuan Ya Old Demon’s main goal is still to escape?"

Si Lingxi blinked in acknowledgment, "I didn’t expect this either; after all, Old Monk Fansa’s Dao Practice is not inferior to his."

Saying this, Si Lingxi nodded in admiration, "Truly an Upper Realm Celestial Demon."

Primordial Fang Dog Demon Venerable was suddenly attacked, not fully prepared, and without demon generals by his side.

Normally, it would be correct for him to retreat upon encounter.

Master Fansa is strong, even stronger with Six True Brahma Heaven Array’s empowerment.

In the recent magical combat, even though Yuan Ya Old Demon was not inferior, he was ultimately not as imposing as Master Fansa.

Even Si Lingxi believed Yuan Ya Old Demon’s first choice was to leave.

Master Fansa must have thought the same.

Yuan Ya Old Demon knew this about Master Fansa.

Thus, Master Fansa fell for it.

A lapse, concentrating all power on the Golden Brahma Dharma Aspect, attacking the wrong target, led to Yuan Ya Old Demon closing in, breaking defenses with Xuyuan Secret Fire, invading the Buddha Body.

This was unlike earlier ambushes on Divine Monarch Xuan Ruo and Dark Sun Crossing Void True Emperor Demon Venerable; it resembled Si Lingxi being unwittingly ambushed by Great Black Heaven Heartless True Desire Demon Ancestor.

Losing the initiative, getting injured first, left only resistance.

Of course, even with a lost initiative, Master Fansa’s deep strength allowed him to hold long, at least a better situation than Si Lingxi back then.

Yuan Ya Old Demon acted on impulse, while Heartless True Desire Demon Ancestor calculated for years with Six Desires Celestial Demon Array’s support.

Si Lingxi shook her head, "Within ten days, Old Monk Fansa will be unharmed, though it’s uncertain if he has a turnaround strategy."

Si Lingxi smiled slightly, "But given the state of Yuan Ya Old Demon and Master Fansa, neither can halt."

Lu Zheng frowned, "Dare Yuan Ya Old Demon?"

Si Lingxi’s eyes twinkled, "Which means the old fiend has a trump card!"

Lingering long was not Yuan Ya Old Demon’s intent.

Though Great Brahma Heaven Temple had foes or enemies in the Southern Border, none dared openly hinder over such significant matters like combating Outer Heaven Demon.

Even if they watched without aiding either side during combat, once the outcome was clear, on Master Fansa’s side, it was uncertain, but Yuan Ya Old Demon would certainly face more detractors.

Si Lingxi: (◔◡◔)

What Si Lingxi perceived, Master Fansa surely saw too.

Brahma Buddha Power guarded his entire body, Brahma Buddha’s Intent resided at his spirit platform, forming an entirely golden Leakless Buddha Body.

No, incorrect, not leakless!

Xuyuan Secret Fire already infiltrated Master Fansa’s body through an opening, compromising his Brahma Heaven Buddha Body.

"Hahaha, little monk, if you held your ground, I wouldn’t have bested you, but since you’ve let me near, I’ll show you the power of my Xuyuan Secret Fire."

As Yuan Ya Old Demon’s words fell, Master Fansa sensed a seemingly intelligent entity flowing in via Xuyuan Secret Fire.

"I am Primordial Fang Dog Demon Venerable; besides Xuyuan Secret Fire, my forte is Swallowing Secret Technique!"

As Yuan Ya Old Demon’s words fell, Master Fansa felt something new in his True Spirit Sea of Consciousness.

By closing in and breaking through, using Xuyuan Secret Fire as a bridge, Yuan Ya Old Demon employed the Magic, gaining dominance.
