The customers in the shop had all left, and it was unlikely any new ones would be arriving.

Time to close up.

Just as Li You closed the door, Ye Shengge came down from upstairs.

She had been in her room upstairs the whole time.

Li You said, "Perfect timing. Time to eat. I made six orders of Chopped Pepper Fish Head, but I gave two away to some customers earlier, so there are only four left. There are also eight pounds of spicy crawfish. That should be enough for us."

With only four portions of Chopped Pepper Fish Head left, Li You didn’t plan on making two more.

They would eat first.

Li You said, "Let’s not talk about that. Let’s go upstairs, eat, and drink."

Ye Shengge nodded. "Okay. Let’s start with two bowls of wine each, for now."

The words "for now" put a lot of pressure on Li You.

Still, he had to bite the bullet and go along with it.

He carried the four orders of Chopped Pepper Fish Head, eight pounds of spicy crawfish, and four bowls of wine up to the coffee table in front of the sofa in the second-floor living room.

Li You and Ye Shengge sat down next to each other.

First, they turned on the TV.

"How about a movie?" Li You asked Ye Shengge.

Ye Shengge nodded. "Sure!"

Li You was about to pick a movie, but as he browsed, the interface jumped to the anime channel, and *Slam Dunk* appeared on the screen.

Ye Shengge suddenly asked, "Do you like *Slam Dunk*?"

"Huh?" Li You was a little surprised. "You like *Slam Dunk*?"

Ye Shengge nodded. "I do! Even though *Slam Dunk* is a really old series, older than I am, it’s still an excellent show. It’s youthful, passionate, and doesn’t lack for humor and comedy."

He never expected that he and Ye Shengge would have a favorite show in common.

Ye Shengge said, "I don’t have a favorite. I like every single character in it, including the ones with very little screen time. Like Tetsuo, who tells Mitsui, ’Goodbye, sports boy.’ Or the shoe store owner who gets strong-armed by Sakuragi into selling him shoes but ends up giving him a pair for free."

Li You was even happier after hearing that. Her answer showed she was a true fan of the series.

This was a pleasant surprise for Li You.

"Then let’s watch *Slam Dunk*. From the first episode. How does that sound?" Li You said.

Ye Shengge nodded. "Okay."

Li You selected the first episode of *Slam Dunk* to play.

"I’m sorry, Sakuragi Hanamichi. The one I like is Oda from the basketball club."

A single line, kicking off a trip down memory lane.

"Boss, to us both liking this show, let’s down a bowl!" Ye Shengge said, raising her wine bowl to Li You.

"Alright!"

Li You also raised his bowl, clinked it against Ye Shengge’s, and they each took a sip.

Of course, it was just a sip. It wasn’t like they could actually down the whole bowl in one go.

’Although, Ye Shengge probably *could* finish it in one gulp. But I can’t!’

"How about you try the Chopped Pepper Fish Head?" Li You said.

Ye Shengge nodded. "Okay!"

She then picked up her chopsticks, took a piece of fish, and put it in her mouth.

After eating it, she smiled faintly. "This is better than any Chopped Pepper Fish Head I’ve ever had before."

Li You laughed heartily. "In that case, I can add it to the menu tomorrow with confidence."

Ye Shengge said, "There you go again, Boss, being modest. Come on, let’s have another drink."

"Alright!"

The two continued to drink. Before long, they had finished their first bowls of wine.

Ye Shengge showed no reaction at all. Li You, on the other hand, was already feeling a bit dizzy.

But even though he was a little dizzy, drinking another bowl would still be fairly easy.

Since opening the restaurant, Li You’s alcohol tolerance had improved quite a bit.

They moved on to their second bowls.

For this bowl, Ye Shengge deliberately slowed her pace a little.

After they slowly finished, Li You was even dizzier.

"Boss, can you drink any more?" Ye Shengge asked.

"Really?" Ye Shengge looked at Li You and smiled. "Compared to last time, it seems your tolerance has improved a lot, Boss."

Li You said, "Of course. Come on, let’s have another."

Ye Shengge nodded. "Alright then."

Da Bai quickly brought over two more bowls of wine.

The two continued to drink.

The Chopped Pepper Fish Head was all gone. There was still some spicy crawfish left.

If they ate it sparingly, it should be enough to last them until they finished this bowl of wine.

By the time they finished the wine, the spicy crawfish had indeed been enough. But Li You was completely drunk.

’I need to lie down for a while.’

Ye Shengge looked at Li You and said, "Do you want to go lie on the bed? If you do, I can help you there."

Li You said, "No need. I’ll just rest here for a bit. Why don’t you have another bowl by yourself?"

He then closed his eyes. Based on past experience, Li You knew the dizziness would ease up significantly in about half an hour.

Ye Shengge got up, went to her room to get a thin blanket, and covered Li You with it. Then she sat down beside him and continued watching TV—still *Slam Dunk*.

Half an hour later, Li You felt much better.

’This wine really does wear off quickly.’

After a moment, Li You said, "It’s getting late. We should shower and get to bed."

Seeing that Li You had recovered quite a bit, Ye Shengge nodded. "I’ll go take a shower then."

"Okay!"

Ye Shengge had her own bathrobe; she wasn’t like Ling Xiaoru, who would emerge from the bathroom wrapped in nothing but a towel. ’Such a shame.’

’Otherwise, with Ye Shengge’s longer legs, it would surely be an even more beautiful sight.’

After Ye Shengge went into the bathroom, Li You also got up and returned to his room.

The two began to eat.

After they finished, Ye Shengge offered to pay. Li You told her this breakfast was on him.

Ye Shengge didn’t stand on ceremony and said, "Thanks, Boss. I’m off to the town market, then."

Li You nodded. "Alright. Take your time!"

"Okay!"

After Ye Shengge left, Li You added a new line to the "Today’s Specials" sign:

"Chopped Pepper Fish Head: 48 yuan per order."

Finally, a new dish was added.
