Chapter 509: War Greetings

Chapter 509: War Greetings

“Who the heck are they?” A powerhouse from the Arena Realm asked in irritation, feeling a bit offended when he realised that the new armies were on the same side.

He already felt that it was overkill for everyone from the Arena Realm to charge at the Gaider Realm. But now, six other armies had arrived, standing on their side.

This was especially annoying since he noticed some really weak people in these armies. “Are they mocking us?”

“Stop!” Dwun shouted upon seeing that a lot of powerhouses seemed willing to stir up trouble.

“Hmph!” The powerhouse snorted, not giving Dwun any face, “Don’t act like our leader. We’re only here for the rewards. If you don’t provide a sound explanation, we’ll first annihilate these weaklings before taking on the Gaider Realm.”

“Hmm, that should be interesting.” Another powerhouse muttered, feeling like them taking on all the armies would prove to be fairly challenging, “It won’t be boring in that case.”

Their dialogues weren’t a result of empty boasting; they truly were a cut above the rest. After all, experts and powerhouses from every corner of the Cultivation World arrived at the Arena to test their strength.

And hence, those that became champions in the Arena had a lot of pride that was a result of the confidence in their strength. Each Arena powerhouse was capable of fighting five to ten powerhouses from the regular Realms.

So, they truly believed in the other six armies being useless, having no other purpose than to serve as their entertainment.

Thinking as such, the powerhouse, a man with a dark gold beard approached the nearby army of what appeared to be treants, gazing at a certain treant that appeared to be at the Martial Providence Stage, stating with a snarky tone, “Why are weaklings like you bothering to wage a war? What good will it do other than to pollute the ground with your weak blood?”

“Stop it, unless you wish to die.” Suddenly, a cold-blooded voice resounded in his ears, causing him to freeze up all of a sudden. Only then did he notice a tiny wasp hovering next to his ear.

Even though it was tiny, the aura it exuded was alarming. It was like a beggar that was a step away from dying due to hunger. So, even a single grain of rice would be something he would give his life fighting for.

This was the sense of desperation originating from the wasp.

The dark gold bearded powerhouse paused, unwilling to take any action, for the wasp seemed stronger than him, way stronger, even though he too had a Heaven Martial Spirit.

“Good, now return to your spot.” The wasp said before shouting, “Dwun! Rein in your people! Are you seriously this incompetent?”

“They are all strong. So, they can obviously do whatever they need.” Dwun spoke, not being tactful at all, “Besides, my army alone is enough to fight the Gaider Realm. You focus on the real issue at hand, Lota.”

“Hmph, that’s easier said than done.” Lota snorted, flying away as she landed on the branch of a treant, asking, “Where’s Straxia?”

“Who knows?” Dwun shrugged, “She disappeared yesterday all of a sudden. I cannot even contact her now.”

“Don’t mind her. She knows what she has to do.” A lady wearing a thick gown arrived, stating with a tone of confidence, “We’ll just stick to our assigned roles.”

“Bernata, are you ready?” Lota asked, buzzing around the ear of the lady wearing a thick gown.

“Of course. War is where I perform the best.” The lady addressed as Bernata smiled, gazing at four other individuals that had arrived, “Ikun, Falls, Morlacle, and Yaarliwar, everyone is here now.”

“My army has superior speed. But they aren’t that strong. I’ll leave their command to you, Ikun.” Morlacle, a middle-aged man with a crew cut said before dissipating with the wind, “I’ll be ready to strike him. Just prepare me a good opportunity.”

“Alright.” Ikun nodded. None of them cared about the armies they had raised. Truth be told, these armies were just there to overwhelm the Gaider Realm through their sheer numbers and affect the Main Character’s luck.

The true fight was between them and Compass Carburettor.

“I’ll head to the rear.” Yaarliwar, an old man maintaining a skin complexion akin to a youth said as he began to walk away, heading towards the rear of the army.

“I’ll take care of the forces in the sky.” Falls said, “Once we take control of it, we can begin to decimate the rest gradually.”

“But,” He stopped, gazing at Ikun, “This would be a drawn-out war. How is the logistics coming along?”

“I’ve already prepared everything necessary and handed it over to Straxia,” Ikun said. Among everyone, he wore the most lavish of clothes, sporting a gown that seemed to be an Ancient Artifact.

The Realm he originated from had a monarchy, in war with empires established in nearby Realms, of course, he became the Emperor after a series of events, now controlling all the power and wealth of his Empire.

And in terms of wealth, his Realm was indeed blessed with the most resources. Hence, he took care of the logistics. After a round, of discussions, he nodded, “Now, we’ll have to wait for Straxia’s signal.”

“Why aren’t they attacking?” The Green Centipede Clan Leader frowned.

“They have only arrived with their armies. They have to set up a base camp to rest and recuperate.” The Blazing Sun Clan Leader said, “Even they know that this would be a drawn-out war. And hence, the one that falls short of supplies first becomes the grand loser. So, they would begin all the related preparations. Only after that would they actually attack.”

“But, this is the best time for us to attack them.” The Green Centipede Clan Leader said.

“We have a plan regarding that.” Yaotorr, the Tura City commander smirked, turning around to gaze at the seven masked men standing behind him, “Let’s begin.”

“Sure,” A familiar voice resounded as the seven masked men vanished.

Immediately, seven Cultivation World Compass Carburettors, each responsible for a summon smiled, nodding at their Apocalypse World selves, “They’re in position.”

“Alright.” The Apocalypse World Compass Carburettors controlled their power, slowly causing multiple entrances to form on the Reality Marble they were at. And these entrances were situated a hundred metres above the enemy army.

“What the fuck?” A treant gazed up for some reason, noticing the countless portals that began to form in the sky over their armies. And bubbling within was a terrifying substance, causing the army to stand rooted to the spot, flabbergasted.
