"Xiaoxiao, are you awake?"

"Y-yes, I am! Wait a second, please!"

Kyoya just faintly smiled at the flustered lady on the other side, then waited with Xaya who was eyeing him all this time. Each move toward Xiaoxiao was under Xaya's careful eyes, but the changes could be already seen.

Xaya was just quietly looking around and doing her best to trust her husband. She didn't immediately think of other women as 'filth', but waited for things to proceed. There was also her husband by the side who was ready to speak at any moment!

That was why Xaya was silent and just tightened her grasp.

As for Kyoya, he was also keeping an eye on his wife. He was immediately reminded about her lovely self from the 'past' and it hurt him seeing her so silent. "I think Akaro wants to go outside."

"It might be so! I just completed our morning routine of her furr's care."

The Goddess Fiana just glanced at the husband with her eyes narrowed. She didn't know why he would suddenly raise her cat's body and send her away from Xiaoxiao's room, but he indeed did it.

She just purred at him instinctively, then went to his room unbeknownst to Kyoya himself.

As the cat disappeared in the corridor, Kyoya closed the door and prepared for a talk. He thought about it even during a night, so he more or less knew how to start it. 

It was just by bluntly speaking the truth.

"Xiaoxiao, I am sorry. The truth is that I didn't hear what you said to me when you hugged me."

"Yes, Xaya is a reason."

Kyoya already made the obvious, but Xiaoxiao misunderstood a little. She just thought that she was somehow unwanted in the party by Xaya and it hurt her. Her hands clenched her skirt, then she looked down with her lips trying to part to say something.

However, the first one to speak was Xaya, urged by her husband. Kyoya just needed a small pat on her shoulder to make Xaya speak genuinely which was both surprising and pleasant. Even the content of Xaya's words was pleasing to his ears.

"I am sorry too."

"W-what? It's fine. I was too close maybe and it could displease you."

"That's not it… I made my husband's senses sealed and he didn't hear you because of that."

"You both have such kind of activity? That sounds rather… Umm."

It was clear as the sky that Xiaoxiao didn't want to poke at Xaya's abilities, but it was indeed somewhat gross to her. She knew that Xaya was all over her husband and always made sure to be with him, but it was just too much.

However, because Xaya was also someone who wanted the best for her husband, Xiaoxiao didn't say anything more and just did her best to accept such a thing.

This was when Kyoya stepped in.

"Xaya just needs a lot of time to open herself and that's what we are here for, Xiaoxiao. I am serious about you."

When the husband spoke it in such a way, Xiaoxiao couldn't stop the blush from appearing on her cheeks. She even crawled back on her bed a little just from these words alone! The last part was echoing vividly within her mind.

"S-serious? About me?"
