From their builds, Kyoya could tell that they were men with strength out scaling him for real! Their bodies were exuding enough aura to make Kyoya sweat profusely. Adding their black robes that hid their features, the group of five men successfully managed to bring out some fear from the husband and Josef.

However, Kyoya would never let his wife go.

He was ready to fight despite his shallow equipment!

"Why did you come here?"

"You have awakened the tablet of Lord Ejolle. It's enough for us to take you down."

As the man in front spoke, the whole group rushed forth!

It was somewhat strange, though. Why was the leader speaking with slightly quivering audible in his voice? The husband pondered that, then, with ordinary knives from the 2nd floor, his whole body was charged to intercept the assassins or whoever they were!

His wife was behind, ready to step into the house if necessary.

As for Josef, he was actually closer to the doors! He felt like the misfortune had befallen onto them, but it didn't mean Josef was not ready to fight. He reached out for the stones with increased weight, then pitching began!

'If they are only a few floors stronger, then there is still a chance! But if the disparity is too big…'

Josef did his best to stay positive.

Furthermore, with the punch sinking into his stomach, Kyoya puked a lot of blood as the corrosive feeling spread around his torso. Before that, it felt like an explosion shattered his organs and stomach from within…

Nearly falling unconscious because of that, Kyoya bit his lips and did his best to distance himself.

It was only possible because the leader knew about the threat hidden somewhere else. His focus and fear were what allowed Kyoya to distance himself.

He struggled while retreating backward, and then his mind shook from that last punch. It felt like his vision blurred momentarily with his body falling slowly, but when the lightning passed through his sight, not only his blurred vision became clear anew, Kyoya found himself standing perfectly fine!

If not that corrosive effect on his stomach, then the husband would've been looking fine as well. But the hands of the leader in black robes were clad in the dark purple gloves. Those gloves had poisoned the husband!

"S-shit…"

Unlike the husband, the leader couldn't speak at all. He already had a hole in place of his heart, his body falling backward.

What was worse was that the person who killed him was so fast that her lightning's momentary sounds could only be heard in the vicinity. When it became a tad louder, another man in a black robe fell with a hole in his body!

And when the third man fell onto his back…

Rosa found herself pinned down to the ground.

It was because the dead bodies of the man in black robes began eliciting some kind of poison! The poison of one was not enough to stop her, but Rosa could no longer hide due to her speed when the number hit three.

In the next second, the dark purple chains wrapped itself around Rosa's wrist. Luckily enough, she managed to sacrifice her less dominant hand! And soon, her eyes spotted a white-haired woman pulling herself closer as if using those chains like a snake.

It was a sight that would accend many hearts of the male's counterpart!

"Those people were dying so fast I found it strange. Now, I see why."

"Hi! Haaa! I didn't really want to go out yet, you know?"

Possessing an enthralling figure, Miss Chloe appeared in front of everyone's eyes! Her free hand reached for her white hair to play with it slowly while the rest of her forces began surrounding the husband's party!

Both of these adventurers were looking far different compared to those that Kyoya had seen.

He wasn't looking at their figures and pretty faces that exuded mature and too appealing charm, but the equipment that was reeking off with the word prestige.

Their backgrounds were indeed different, and so Kyoya felt like he stepped into some shit!

"The usual plan was to kill this guy, but I changed my mind."

"What could shortie such as you think about?"

Miss Chloe was a short woman, around 165 cm. It didn't take anything from her, and she could entice many with her mature vibes. However, when Rosa spoke that, Miss Chloe's eyelashes flapped with slight anger.

It was because she just wanted to propose something for Kyoya! Thus, she had to change her approach.

"I will be taking this guy with myself to my house."

Before Rosa could correct herself, the husband's house's doors flew past her and even reached Miss Chloe, who just stood in a daze. In the next movement, the already known wife left the house.
