Chapter 384: Chapter 202: Sect’s Daoist Sanctum

Upon returning to the small courtyard, Qin Huaiming immediately began arranging what was to come.

He first spoke to Yang Wenqing, "Wenqing, send a message back to Lingshan County. Have your clan send a few loyal and reliable members with sufficient funds and tokens of trust. They should set out for the Provincial Capital as soon as possible."

After speaking, he then gave instructions to Tang Yuan. "Tang Yuan, before they arrive, I need you to find two or three suitable rice or textile shops in the outer city of the Provincial Capital. Once Wenqing’s clansmen get here, assist them with the transfer of ownership. We aren’t looking for these shops to be highly profitable; their main purpose is to serve as a foothold in the Provincial Capital and as a pretext for daily interactions with the Wang family."

Tang Yuan immediately replied, "Rest assured, Martial Uncle. You can count on me."

Qin Huaiming nodded and added to Yang Wenqing, "Additionally, consider purchasing a small residence for your parents in the Inner City. The Spiritual Attribute there is stable, and it is under the protection of the nation’s Divine Artifact. It will keep your parents free from illness and disaster and can even prolong their lives. This can be handled at the same time as the property acquisitions."

Yang Wenqing committed all of this to memory, grateful for his master’s thoroughness. He then looked at his younger brother, Yang Wenjian. "Wenjian, you’ll be in charge of communicating with the family and handling the initial coordination for the properties in the Provincial Capital."

Yang Wenjian replied solemnly, "Yes, Brother."

Qin Huaiming also looked at Yang Wenjian and instructed, "Wenjian, after you marry Miss Wang, you will settle down in Lingshan County. For the next few years, your focus should be there. You will assist your brother—and in doing so, help yourself—to solidify our businesses and connections in Lingshan County."

He turned to Yang Wenqing and said, "You must pay close attention to the Energy Stone shares in Lingshan County. This resource is crucial for both your current cultivation and your long-term development. You will need a vast amount of Energy Stones and energy crystals when you reach the Third Realm."

Yang Wenqing nodded. "I understand."

With all instructions given, Qin Huaiming looked at everyone present and said to Gao Zhen, "You should rest and recuperate in the Provincial Capital for a few days. Tang Yuan, take him out for a walk now and then. Once his consciousness has stabilized, he can focus on condensing his Qi Sea and preparing for Foundation Establishment."

Gao Zhen quickly replied, "Yes, Teacher."

Qin Huaiming nodded, then said to Yang Wenqing, "Get your things. Bring Lan Ying. It’s time for us to head to the sect’s headquarters."

Yang Wenqing had nothing to prepare; everything he owned was in his Storage Bag. Upon hearing this, Lan Ying eagerly flew down and landed on his shoulder. After a simple farewell to the others in the courtyard, he followed Qin Huaiming and boarded the Flying Shuttle once more.

This time, the Flying Shuttle soared into the clouds. Guided by the city’s navigation beacon, it flew straight west toward the vast, open sea.

Qin Huaiming personally piloted the Flying Shuttle, swiftly flying over the bustling skies of Bilan City and past the white sandbanks and pearl farms that circled the island.

After about an hour of flight, a chain of small islands appeared on the horizon where the sea met the sky, scattered like a string of pearls. Qin Huaiming adjusted their course, heading toward the largest island at the easternmost end of the chain.

As they drew closer, the island’s silhouette became clearer.

The island was tiny compared to Coral Island, not even as large as Lingshan County, but its terrain was far more peculiar.

In the center of the island stood a tall, elegant, verdant peak. The mountain wasn’t treacherous, but it possessed a certain graceful, spiritual air. There were few traces of man-made structures on the peak itself. Only a few pavilions and halls were built into the mountainside, nestled among ancient pines and green cypresses. Their ornate, upturned eaves were faintly visible, blending perfectly with the natural scenery.

The entire island was shrouded in a five-colored halo, a phenomenon created by the natural manifestation of the Five Yang Five Qi. The seawater around the island was exceptionally clear and azure; schools of fish could even be seen swimming leisurely in the shallows. In the sky, brightly feathered Spiritual Birds circled and danced, their clear cries echoing through the air, prompting Lan Ying to call out as well.

In stark contrast to the mortal hustle and orderly power of Coral City, this place was more like a fairyland lost to the mortal world, filled with a natural, harmonious, and pure Spiritual Attribute.

Here, order was not manifested in tidy streets and towering buildings, but in the natural rhythm of the mountains, waters, plants, and trees. It was found within the omnipresent, yet all-encompassing, Five Yang Five Qi.

"It feels so nice here!"

Lan Ying stood on Yang Wenqing’s shoulder, her little head turning this way and that. Her sapphire-blue eyes were filled with excitement and delight. As a Spirit Beast, she was extremely sensitive to natural Spiritual Attribute, and the environment here made her feel incredibly comfortable and free.

The Flying Shuttle quickly passed through the invisible barrier of Spiritual Qi. Fresh island air, fragrant with flowers and herbs, rushed into the cabin. The dense Five Yang Five Qi resonated faintly with Yang Wenqing’s Qi Sea.

Qin Huaiming steered the Flying Shuttle toward a relatively gentle, seaside slope on the southern side of the island. A cluster of buildings rested there, built into the mountain and facing the sea. With their white walls and black tiles, they were exquisitely designed, blending seamlessly with the surrounding woods, rocks, and streams.

The Flying Shuttle landed on a flat stone platform, and Qin Huaiming led Yang Wenqing out.

’This is a great place,’ Lan Ying communicated with Yang Wenqing in his Spirit Sea, basking in the wash of Five Yang Five Qi.

’It sure is!’ Yang Wenqing’s mood was just as good.

As his feet touched the warm, smooth bluestone ground, Yang Wenqing felt the pores all over his body open involuntarily, greedily absorbing the dense yet gentle Five Yang Five Qi from the air.

This was Jade Chime Island, the ancestral sanctuary and core inheritance ground established by the Sea Guardian Daoist and jointly maintained and used by the Three Sects: the Beixuan Sect, Yunji, and Xuanyue.

It was a sacred place for the disciples of all Three Sects. Cultivators from the sects who had reached the Entry Realm or higher and were nearing the end of their lifespan would return here. They would choose a cave residence for secluded cultivation, using the Five Yang Five Qi to extend their lives. They would not normally appear, but if anyone dared to attack the island, these elders would fight to the death. To disturb their peaceful cultivation was to threaten the very lives they were trying to preserve.
