Chapter 1062: Chapter 24: Successfully Overcame the Tribulation!!_2

Just like this—

——"??? (100%)"

Yet another one...

The White-clothed Daoist calmly swept his gaze around, his eyes like sharp bolts of lightning skimming across the void.

After directly locking onto a certain set of coordinates, he simply pointed out with one finger.

A streak of equally dazzling, blazing sword light flared from his fingertip, and in that instant it briefly illuminated the entire star region; then, like a lightning strike at light speed, it came crashing down, and the moment it fell it had already pierced through the enormous writhing shadow lurking within that dark continent in the distance, slaying in a single blow the monstrosity hidden beneath thousands of miles of mountain ranges and land. The whole process was as clean as a red‑hot iron wire passing through solidified butter, without the slightest sense of drag or obstruction, and it had already sliced the thing neatly in two.

——Earth Evil Swordsmanship.

As a Magic worthy of the Earth Fiend number, its name might sound plain, but in truth it is an extremely overbearing Combat Divine Technique, all the more so when driven by his current terrifying Power... Just as the Sun sneezing produces a flare Burst, equivalent to the Energy released by tens of billions of giant hydrogen bombs exploding at once, or the total Energy of a hundred thousand to a million powerful volcanic eruptions, he now likewise bears boundless great merit, boundless great Mana.

Besides, a star’s Energy ultimately has an end, whereas he, whose Magic Furnace Core is an Ever-moving Soul?

One can only say it is "great fullness seeming empty, used for the infinite": squander as much Mana as he likes and that much Mana is born anew, like a vast sea of vital Essence, endless and inexhaustible, with absolutely no worries behind him. So even if he merely relies on brute force to make miracles, ramming colossal Energy into a Divine Technique in a "luxurious, wasteful" manner, using the most direct and brutal means to spur Divine Power... he can still raise the might to an absurdly exaggerated height!!

The falling sword light did not carry any particularly cool lighting effects or gorgeous spectacle, none of that wind, rain, thunder, lightning, spring, summer, autumn, winter, nor the sense of Reincarnation.

Bits and pieces, this and that—none of it. All that existed was naked sharpness, sword intent refined to the utmost, condensed into gang strength.

Yet precisely this one simple streak, like a million‑kilometer coronal mass ejection, falling with a majestic air capable of cleaving continents and annihilating an entire realm.

Which is only natural: only such tyrannical offensive Divine Techniques can hew down those God‑spawned yin ghosts whose bodies span thousands or tens of thousands of miles, whose forms are like continental stars, letting him slaughter on this Ancient Battlefield like chopping melons and vegetables... Ahem, put simply, the essence lies in "when there are no tigers in the mountain, the Monkey proclaims itself king." After the Gods and Giants perished together, this stagnant world could no longer breed the Mortal Python of bygone days, so when he, this barely qualified big fish, entered it, he naturally became the sovereign arbiter of Life and death.

The godspawn’s consciousness rapidly dissipated, leaving behind at the site a single point of light, utterly inconspicuous relative to that enormous body. The White-clothed Daoist casually hooked a finger, collecting the falling spoils of war, and at the same time unfurled his Divine Will, seizing that fading awareness. He circulated the Spiritual Light of his Primordial Spirit to illuminate all the memories of its former existence—countless chaotic and mottled records, from images to sensations, down to the emotional fluctuations at the time, all of which he could Perceive as though personally present.

Only, while the time scale seemed long... the record itself was extremely chaotic.

It was utterly jumbled information; rather than a complete memory body, it was more like some nameless, instinctive impressions.

Such as survival, feeding, fighting, devouring... scattered fragments, all sorts of things. After carefully yet swiftly browsing through them, he could only show the expression of an Elder on the subway looking at his phone.

It resembled the instinct of Life, yet was extreme and maimed, unlike a normal Life. One could only say this was the way these God‑spawned yin ghosts lived—after all, they know only how to feed, only how to fight; when facing their own kind they possess nothing but the urge to devour one another. They neither communicate nor reproduce, and across a time scale where even the meaning of time does not exist, they vainly and sorrowfully repeat this pattern of existence, never showing the slightest tendency toward selfhood or wisdom, all the way to death.

"No useful information either, so it probably isn’t nearby..."

He lightly shook his head and casually ground the remaining consciousness into dust. The White-clothed Daoist pondered for a moment.

This current "him" is, of course, also one of the Ten Incarnations.

Only, unlike Genetic Ascension, the "Dragon God" who governs evolution; or Chaos, the Mechanical Ascension of frail flesh; or Soul, mind prevailing over matter and ascending from Extraordinary to Saint—this incarnation now represents the knowledge system and cultivation path he first chose, the very symbol and manifestation of immortal and Divine Spirit radiance. All Power inclined toward the Dao Fruit Immortal Career converges into this one body of attainment; it can be called the Qi Dao Source Stream, Embracing All Truths.

Naturally, only such a high‑rank Divinity entity endowed with great ability has the qualifications to enter this Ancient Battlefield to work.

Ordinary Clone or Divine Spirit, whether in Power or in rank, if even slightly inferior, would find themselves unable to take a single step in this dead silent universe, unable even to preserve themselves.

"Why don’t I take the World Tree as my target first..."

The Daoist turned his gaze toward that World Tree remnant which seemed right beside him yet infinitely far away, seriously considering: should he start by studying this specimen?
