But mortal beings cannot glimpse these deeper ripples, unable to perceive changes belonging to time, history, fate, causality, and so on.

They can only witness the most surface phenomena.

——Of course, merely the surface phenomena were already enough; facing such an apocalyptic terrifying scene, naturally many chose to pray for the Gods’ mercy.
