I Can See Experience Points
Chapter 125 - 124: The Hammer Kill Resurfaces
Chapter 125: Chapter 124: The Hammer Kill Resurfaces
BOOM!!
The street shattered, a twenty-meter radius suddenly caving in.
In the center of the massive crater stood He Xiaotian and a pile of shredded flesh.
Against such a brutally overpowering strike, the burly man’s combat experience offered no hope of survival.
In the face of absolute power, even a crafty old fox with a thousand years of schemes would meet a bitter end.
[Ding! You have slain a peak Third Grade Martial Artist and gained 8000 Experience Points.]
’Eight thousand? Not bad!’
’At least that’s much more than I got from those four at the Gourmet Kitchen.’
He Xiaotian nodded, gratified, then turned his gaze to the other three.
The +3 Man-Eater special attribute of his Black Tiger’s Dominating Aura activated unconsciously.
GULP!
The remaining three exchanged a look, each of them gulping nervously.
’How the fuck are we supposed to fight this?!’
’His raw strength alone is on a completely different level. All we can do is stare up at him in awe.’
’Are all the martial arts in this world about flying through the air and tunneling through the earth? You guys must be gods walking on land, right?’
’Run! We have to run!’
’There’s no way we can kill him. Only a total fucking idiot would charge in and feed him a free kill.’
’And his eyes... they’re terrifying. They strike fear into your very soul.’
’He looks like a hungry tiger descending from the mountains, about to hunt.’
Their courage and fighting spirit cratered.
If not for the slim chance of survival, they’d probably be on their knees begging for their lives right now!
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
The three of them shot off in three different directions. Judging by their practiced movements, this was clearly something they’d done plenty of times back in the Netherworld.
"You think you can get away?!"
He Xiaotian sneered. ’Experience Points delivered right to my door, and you want a refund?’
’In your dreams!’
He carried a thousand-jin hammer in one hand, yet his speed wasn’t just decent—it was blistering.
His two attributes, Strength Redirection and Lightness, were a massive help.
At least he didn’t have to worry about his powerful physique compromising his agility and speed.
After all, there’s a world of difference between how a skinny person and a heavyset person run.
The three men wished their parents had given them a few more legs.
As Martial Artists, they were extremely sensitive to all kinds of auras.
Especially the brutal, tyrannical aura behind them, which was drawing closer and closer.
It felt as if he could catch them at any second and smash them into a pulp with a single swing of his hammer.
Cold sweat beaded on their foreheads as the fear in their hearts magnified without limit.
SWOOSH!
A sharp whistle cut through the air. The heart of the fastest Martial Artist leaped into his throat.
Without a second thought, his muscle memory from years of training took over, and he leaped into the air.
BOOM!
The instant he leaped, a massive, spiked iron hammer slammed into the ground where he had just been.
PHEW!
Still in mid-air, he couldn’t help but let out a breath of relief.
’I dodged i—’
Before he had time to celebrate, a second hammer descended from above.
It smashed viciously into his face. A one-hit headshot!
[Ding! You have slain a Third Grade Martial Artist and gained 5000 Experience Points.]
’Three thousand points less than the peak-level one.’
The first hammer was just bait; the second one was the real killer.
Of course, if his enemy hadn’t reacted, He Xiaotian could have obliterated him with the first strike alone.
"These evolved hammers are surprisingly effective,"
He Xiaotian said with a grin, looking at the Martial Artist whose head he’d just caved in from at least two hundred meters away.
’Who would’ve thought the chains connecting the hammers could extend automatically.’
’Too bad there’s a distance limit. Five hundred meters is the max.’
’When I throw both hammers and hold onto the chains, my range is only two hundred and fifty meters.’
With a light tug, the chains rapidly retracted, bringing the hammers back to his hands.
Gazing at the other two men fleeing for their lives, He Xiaotian hurled his weapons once more.
SWOOSH!
The two vicious hammers spun like helicopter rotors, rapidly closing in on one of the men.
Anything in their path was shredded to pieces!
He then bent his knees, launching himself toward the other Martial Artist with an explosive burst of power.
"Damn it!"
How could the two men not have noticed He Xiaotian killing their companion?
A Third Grade Martial Artist, snuffed out as easily as flipping a palm.
’This world... it’s too terrifying!!’
They would rather face the most troublesome fiends and monstrosities than be hunted by He Xiaotian.
At least against those things, there was a chance of survival.
But in this man’s hands, there was only certain death.
"I’ll fight you to the death!"
After being hit with two rounds of negative debuffs, the Martial Artist, whose sanity was already on the brink, finally snapped.
His entire body became engulfed in blood-red flames. He swelled in size, growing to over two meters tall.
His muscles bulged to a terrifying degree as fine cracks spiderwebbed across his skin, weeping blood.
’A martial art like the Celestial Demon Disintegration technique from the novels?’
He Xiaotian was thrilled. He loved the feeling of a good, old-fashioned, fist-to-flesh brawl.
’Now I can finally get my wish.’
Then, without another word, he threw a punch.
The Martial Artist, wreathed in blood-red flames, also threw a punch, intending to meet He Xiaotian head-on.
BOOM!!
THUD!
The Martial Artist stared in a daze at where his left arm used to be.
’My arm... gone from a single punch?’
’What kind of monster are you?’
"Still too weak!"
He Xiaotian shook his head. ’Pathetic. He couldn’t even take one hit.’
’If all the Martial Artists from the Netherworld are this pathetic, I’m surprised their population is so large.’
His huge right palm shot out, grabbed the Martial Artist by the head, and lifted him into the air.
[Ding! You have slain a Third Grade Martial Artist and gained 5000 Experience Points.]
’Did the hammers I threw just shred the other guy who was running away?’
"That technique you just used. What was it?"
"If I tell you, will you let me live?" The one-armed Martial Artist asked, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
"Of course!" He Xiaotian replied instantly, without a hint of hesitation.
"As you know, Martial Artists temper their bodies and refine their Qi and Blood. In the Netherworld, Qi and Blood are incredibly lethal to fiends. If we’re in a desperate situation, we can burn our body’s entire supply of Qi and Blood to get a dramatic boost in power.
If you survive, after a year or so of rest and some restorative tonics, you can recover to your previous peak. However, it will still negatively impact your future advancement. Every Martial Artist from the Netherworld knows how to use this Qi and Blood combustion technique."
Desperate to live, he held nothing back.
’Cannon fodder!’
For some reason, after listening to the one-armed Martial Artist’s explanation, those two words involuntarily popped into He Xiaotian’s mind.
"I’ve told you everything. Can you let me go now?"
"Of course."
The same two familiar words.
"Than—"
He never got to finish the word.
Because He Xiaotian’s right hand squeezed viciously, completely crushing the man’s skull.
’Sorry, I was just kidding.’
’Besides, you came to kill me. You only asked me to spare you after you realized you couldn’t win.’
’How can you be so naive?’
In the conference room, everyone watching the screen felt their eyes twitch as blood geysered from the neck of the headless corpse.
’The more we watch, the more X looks like the main villain...’
’His methods are so vicious!’
[Ding! You have slain a Third Grade Martial Artist and gained 5000 Experience Points.]
"Ah, that’s the stuff!"
The four Martial Artists had provided him with 23,000 Experience Points, enough to max out another martial art.
He was quite pleased with the string of express deliveries and the fact that he’d even learned a new foreign language.
Even if that foreign language was mostly useless and no one would be hiring him as an interpreter anytime soon.
BOOM!
He Xiaotian whipped his head around, looking toward the source of the sound.
"???"
’What the fuck is that?!’
