I Can Program My Body?
Chapter 766: Universal Eternal Battleship
In the Eternal Star Alliance Warehouse Forbidden Zone:
“It’s too large, this is just too large,” William muttered in frustration.
The list in his hands contained all the materials and harvest the expedition had gathered in the unexplored domain areas. Even a whole Forbidden Zone seemed unable to contain them.
“What to do with all this junk?”
In total, there were over 675 billion worth of materials before him.
The mines, resource clusters, and energy stars were easy to handle. They just needed to harvest them regularly, then wait for them to regenerate for another round.
What was hard to process were the raw materials. If they weren’t used for production, they weren’t even as useful as a single Chaos Stone. Resources that weren’t being utilized were nothing more than a waste of rock and soil.
“I can only report this to Nash.” William thought with a headache. He wasn’t only the warehouse supervisor, but also one of the economic administrators in charge of circulating the alliance’s resources.
Unable to decide how to handle the overflowing resources, he quickly called Nash to report.
—
Receiving an urgent call, Nash temporarily stopped his training.
“What happened? Is there something wrong with the resources sent by the expedition force?”
“No, no. In fact, everything is too good. The problem is I don’t know how to allocate these resources. It’s a waste to just pile them up here.”
“Oh? How many resources did they harvest to make you panic this much?”
To optimize the Eternal Star Alliance territory, they were spending billions every month. How could William panic now?
“The total harvest the expedition force had this time was worth over 675 billion Chaos Stones…”
“What?! 675 billion? You haven’t removed the tax, have you?”
“There was no need. Those foreign cosmic teams have decided to join the Eternal Star Alliance.”
“I see…”
During these months of the expedition, after experiencing the management, benefits, power, and potential of the Eternal Star Alliance, the hesitation in their hearts finally vanished. Instead of running away, they decided to gamble everything they had.
“What should we do with these materials? I can’t really think of anything. Should we use them to trade for Chaos Stones, technology, or various training resources with the major alliances?”
“No, that’s too wasteful. We can produce battleships and potions ourselves. We also have enough Chaos Stones to squander.”
“Then what should we do? Should we just store them here?”
“Of course not. We’ll turn them into usable assets.”
“Usable assets? What assets?”
“Didn’t you just mention them yourself? Battleships and training resources.”
“That’s the problem. We don’t have enough manpower to produce them.”
“What are those mother core ships for, then? We have over 26.96 million mother core ships. Isn’t this ready-made manpower?” Nash smiled.
During these past few months, they had still decided to sell an extra 500 Eternal Military Outposts to the Grand Race Sovereign Alliance. As a result, they now had nearly 27 million mother core ships in total.
With 3.5 million tied up in the production of Eternal Military Outposts, they had 23.5 million available to produce all kinds of technology and training resources.
“This is indeed feasible. The renovation of the Eternal Star Forbidden Domain is almost complete, so we don’t need to use the mother core ships for assistance. However, most battleship blueprints we have require secondary processing, which only Tier 7 professionals can do. We also have a limited variety of training resources that can be produced with just the mother core ship.” William explained.
“It’s not a problem. If we don’t have it, or if it’s not suitable, then we create it. This is an easy matter. Give us a month, and we’ll give you a complete set of blueprints.”
Although it would interrupt the Dimensional Array formation’s deduction, it wouldn’t take long. Battleships and training resources would also help further strengthen the Eternal Star Alliance, using all its resources to the limit.
“That’s good! Thank you, Nash!” William smiled joyfully. Given the precedent set by the Eternal Military Outpost, he believed the blueprints they created would be extraordinary as well.
“Instead of worrying about this matter, you should think about the dimensional-scale dark gate. In about three months at most, those seven major alliances should be activating them.”
“Don’t worry, we are proceeding smoothly according to plan. If nothing else, we could even make a killing, depending on how great the battleship blueprints you produce are.”
While opening the dimensional-scale dark gate was a disaster, it also brought opportunities. Danger and opportunity existed at the same time; if they could utilize this, they could overtake the others on the curve.
“Hmm, that’s good…”
—
After talking in more detail, they ended the call as Nash headed to the Eternal Time Server to work overtime and deduce the blueprints together with other scientists and professionals.
Unlike the last time, when he still had to acquire foundational knowledge, Nash only needed to parse the information in his mind and calculate the most optimal solution.
With a large number of scientists and professionals to simulate the data, provide information, and fill in the gaps, it took only a week to produce a blueprint for an S-class, SS-class, and SSS-class series of Eternal Battleships.
They functioned as normal battleships, with nothing extraordinary added to the blueprint. The most significant feature of this blueprint was that it was universal and could be produced autonomously.
Including all the materials discovered so far in the cosmic competition, one could just dump any mineral resources into a mother core ship’s intake compartment and watch it work its magic.
There were no complicated parts; everything was modular, so any Tier 8 materials could be recycled and turned into a battleship of at least S-class quality!
This blueprint was basically a garbage disposal, turning unusable materials into something everyone eagerly wanted.
“It’s amazing. Are you sure you’re not a Tier 8 scientist yet, Lord Nash?”
“A battleship of at least S-class quality. We seem to have made a groundbreaking invention!”
As far as they knew, even the Mechanical Race could only recycle materials to produce an A-class battleship. To produce S- to SSS-class, they needed more materials and manpower.
What about the Eternal Battleship Series they had produced? They only needed enough materials and mother core ships, with no secondary processing required to complete them!
“It’s not bad indeed.” Nash also smiled, satisfied with his creation. It might not look like it, but this Eternal Battleship Series took him about a million years to deduce.
Needing to process a lot of material, simulate a lot of data, and integrate it into a single universal piece, Nash had to accelerate his time magnitude to over 10 million times for a month just to finish.
“The only problem now is how to encrypt them.” As it was made out of pure technology, Nash had no way to guarantee encryption with absolute certainty.
“Why don’t we just drive them autonomously? Anyway, once they’re produced, we won’t have enough people to pilot them. This way, if there is a danger of compromise, we can detonate them.” One scientist suggested.
After countless years of deduction and effort, how could they let others copy them? They would rather lose money than let others pick them apart.
“That’s indeed a good idea. We could set an autonomous protocol in the system, letting it self-destruct once there was a chance of compromise.” Nash nodded, not caring about the loss of failed units.
A pilot was needed for a battleship because, most of the time, the dark miasma disrupted various sensors and signals. With fully autonomous control and protocol system maxed out, many battleships were destined to be destroyed by false alarms.
However, since even a scrapped battleship could be recycled with minimal loss, Nash and the others even planned to raise the sensitivity further.
After a few hours of setting up the fully autonomous system and self-destruction protocol, they turned to deducing the blueprints for various training resources.
Training resources were mainly comprised of consumables like potions, talismans, medical baths, concentrated food, bloodline resources, elements, law, training dummies, peripherals, etc.
With such a large category, they also had to process far more data. Knowing it would take a lot longer, instead of being discouraged, Nash was even more eager.
Like piecing each puzzle together to form a picture, it was quite entertaining. He was getting a little dizzy from piecing together those unintelligible runic patterns; having to deduce such a little gadget was quite relieving.
As days and weeks passed, though they were exhausted, every scientist and professional in the Eternal Time Server was full of excitement.
Watching unique resources be deduced one after another with their own hands, how could they not be thrilled?
As they created training resources of every type, element, law, level, and other categories, time flashed by in a blur, adding another month to Nash’s estimate.
Fortunately, the S- to SSS-class Eternal Battleships had already been sent to William for mass production before they dove deep into training resources.
“Alright, it’s over. You can take a month to rest and recover.” Nash thanked everyone and told them to rest.
The seven major alliances had already confirmed and announced that they would activate the dimensional-scale dark gate in another month and asked everyone to prepare.
Knowing they would be working in overdrive a month from now, he told everyone to rest. In fact, even Nash planned to go home for a moment and relax his body and soul.
Although working for millions of years in the runic space left no visible aftereffects, it wouldn’t hurt to rest for a moment on the eve of the storm.
