Having completed their task, the rest of the mission was just to tabulate the total number of dark beasts. They didn’t know if their money was enough; if it was short, it was better to borrow in advance.

They found 38 Tier 9 dark beasts, including the lord-level one. Reporting his findings to the cosmic teams in the rear, Nash began planning their escape route while kiting the enemies.

Drawing a map into the void before their departure, Nash instructed Atom to drive.

"Go at full speed; don’t stop or slow down. If you can no longer process it, tell me in advance."

"Yes, master!"

Heeding his orders, the Void Pulse bolted into space, following the path Nash had drawn.

Going at full speed, the Void Pulse quickly reached light velocity as it tore through the void and space.

"Now." Connecting to the Altier Arcane Tower, Nash commanded the Tower Spirit to fire at the one they had marked before.

A light passed through the void, followed by a resounding explosion, then a roar of dark beasts rang in their ears.

With their leader gone, every dark beast went manic, and the dark origin essence began to boil, further destabilizing the space. This instability immediately caused the veil of the Void Pulse to fail, letting the dark beasts quickly lock onto their life aura.

Roar!

From one dark beast to another, their positions were transmitted as every dark beast tried to swarm them alive.

Using the Void Pulse’s speed, Atom wove through the swarm, trying to get away.

"How long before the next shot?"

"5 hours."

"5 hours? Do you need any help?"

"Just sit back and relax. Everything is under control." Nash smiled as he spoke with the Altier Arcane Tower’s Spirit, which was bringing him good news.

Usually, one shot was not enough to kill a Tier 9 dark beast with a planetary domain. Even a dozen shots wouldn’t be enough if it were prepared. Thus, hearing it was killed in one shot brought a smile to his face. Now, they only needed to deal with the remaining strays.

As the day passed, firing over five shots, the speed of the Void Pulse could already distort the void.

Besides Atom, who was about to smoke from processing countless information every second, Tsuka was also drooping its ears.
