Dante didn’t waste the opening. He executed a quick Void Step across the obsidian floor blocks, appearing directly beneath the hanging demon. He raised his right hand, driving the invisible blade vertically straight through the bottom of the captain’s chin, piercing his core structure completely.

The captain’s limbs went stiff for a fraction of a second before completely relaxing. The white glow in his eyes faded away .

Esabella casually loosened her grip on the whip, letting the dead armored demon drop down onto the ground below. The soul of the second captain rushed into Dante’s blade, completing the ambush within less than ten seconds.

The vault fell back into a silence. The floating purple floor core continued to pulse slowly in the center of the room, completely undisturbed.

Gideon clambered down the iron ladder first. He walked over to the dead captains, looking down at the clean cuts with a stunned expression. "No mana, no noise, and not a single alert triggered. You two really are terrifying exiles."

Esabella also come down , she landed lightly on her heels.

"Dante, that was completely perfect!" Esabella whispered fiercely. "The way you caught the halberd before it could make a sound... You looked so cold, so calculated, so incredibly handsome!"

Dante ignored her praise entirely. He walked past the dead bodies and stopped right in front of the glowing red runes surrounding the floating purple containment matrix.

"Gideon," Dante saidz his eyes tracking the energy lines of the security network. "The guards are dead. Now tell me how to disable this tracking link before it sends the signal to Marcus."

Gideon walked up to the wall panel where th captain had been standing. He leaned his bone staff against the obsidian block and pulled out a small, jagged dagger made of a monster’s tooth.

He didn’t look at the control lever; instead, he used the tip of the dagger to pry open a small metal plate hidden behind the main iron frame.

"Balor didn’t build this security system himself," Gideon said, his voice low as he worked the tool into the gap. "He doesn’t have the brains for tower logic. Someone sent a rogue technician down here a few years ago to install an external proxy line. It’s a standard upper-floor signal matrix."

Pop.

The metal plate fell away, hitting the ground. Inside the wall was a small, glowing red crystal wire wrapped tightly around a thin silver rod. The silver rod was pulsing in perfect synchronization with the glowing red runes surrounding the floating floor core.

Dante walked over, his hands remaining inside his pockets as he looked at the mechanism. His face was completely still.

"Can you cut it?"

"If I just cut the wire, the system will register a sudden drop in voltage and trigger the emergency alert to the upper floors automatically," Gideon explained, shaking his head. "We have to spoof the signal. We need to feed the transmission line a stagnant energy signature so it thinks the vault is still perfectly locked and empty while you absorb the core."

Esabella stood three steps away, her arms crossed beneath her large chest.

"My royal token carries a high concentration of stagnant floor energy," Esabella said, her tone serious and direct. She reached into her skirt pocket and pulled out the round black stone pass Dante had seen earlier. "If we press the token against the silver receiver, its spatial energy should be enough to mimic the baseline security signature of this chamber."

Gideon looked at the token, his eyes widening slightly. "A royal gate pass? Yes, that will work perfectly. The system won’t notice the difference because the token’s energy matrix matches the floor’s original code."

Gideon looked at Dante. "But there’s a catch, kid. The moment she presses the token to the receiver, the containment field around the floor core will open for exactly three minutes. You have to step inside the red runes, grab the core, and force the manual sync. If you don’t finish before the three minutes are up, the token’s energy will bleed out, the proxy line will collapse, and they will receive the alert instantly."

Dante didn’t show a single trace of hesitation.

"Do it," Dante said flatly.

Esabella stepped forward. She didn’t look at the mechanism; she kept her eyes glued to Dante’s handsome face, her lips pulling into a tight, obsessive smile. "Don’t rush yourself, my King. Even if the alarm triggers and anyone come, I will slaughter every single one of them before they can even look at you."

"Just hold the token carefully," Dante replied.

Esabella pressed the token firmly against the silver rod inside the wall.

A hum vibrated through the stone chamber. The glowing red runes surrounding the floating purple sphere suddenly shifted from a violent crimson to a dull, stagnant yellow color. The containment field split down the center, opening up a narrow pathway straight to the center of the platform.

Dante stepped forward instantly.he walked right through the open barrier, stopping inches away from the pulsing purple sphere. The raw density of the floor core was immense, radiating a cold, pressure that pressed against his chest.

He willed his left hand to move, activating ’The Asura’s Eye of Fate’.

The dark stone eye on his middle finger cracked open, its pupil shifting like a tiny vortex. Dante’s vision shifted, instantly revealing the internal code structures of the floor core. Right at the very center of the purple sphere, a tiny, glowing red dot appeared—the primary access node of the entire dimension.

Dante didn’t waste a single second. He raised his right hand, driving the invisible edge of his sword straight into the red dot node.

The invisible blade pierced the core perfectly. The moment the weapon connected, a massive, silent explosion of pure purple energy detonated from the sphere. The raw data vectors of the entire floor violently rushed along the blade, flowing directly into Dante’s right arm and crashing straight into his glitched vision interface.

Dante stood completely still in the middle of the purple light, his hoodie fabric whipping violently from the sudden rush of air pressure. The demon souls hoarded inside his sword were suddenly being unlocked all at once, their raw energy processing through the system mainframe at an unendurable speed.

Gideon watched from the wall panel, his hands shaking slightly as he leaned on his staff. "The energy signature is spiking... Kid, you have less than one minute before the proxy network collapses!"
