Is there another process that hasn’t been completed?

Just as Xu Yun was feeling puzzled, Aveline continued her introduction:

"Classmate Maxwell, classmate Luo Feng."

"Your dormitory is located behind the chapel in the postgraduate building, which is currently one of the best student accommodations at Cambridge."

"The building houses many students from other colleges, and you’ll meet many outstanding seniors who could achieve remarkable success in the future."

"However, some of them might... umm, have quirky personalities, so you better be prepared."

Hearing this, Wheat gave Aveline a glance, slightly confused, and asked:

"Senior Sister Aveline, when you say quirky personalities, do you mean..."

Aveline’s expression shifted a few times, as if recalling some unpleasant memories, she said with a peculiar look:

"You’ll understand once you’ve met them."

Wheat dumbly made a sound of acknowledgment and obediently shut his mouth.

Then, without stopping, Aveline continued:

"The opening ceremony will be held in four days, at which time you’ll also receive your student badges and gowns."

"Your course schedules will be notified collectively when the time comes, and there are many courses in the first year of the postgraduate program that you’ll take with undergraduates, so the classes won’t be too empty."

"As for the next four days..."

"You can go to the library or classrooms to familiarize yourselves with the area, or you can visit the literature club next to the Bai Weina statue."

"If you want to eat something, you can go to the town..."

Before Aveline could finish her sentence, Thomson interrupted:

"I’ll take care of their three meals since I also live in the same building with them."

Aveline was slightly taken aback but quickly nodded:

"No problem, that couldn’t be better."

The group continued walking and talking like this, without facing any major difficulties in their communication.

Fifteen minutes later.

The group stopped outside a building shaped like the character ’冂’:

The front of the building was a two-story high, luxurious small building with a cross on top, about thirty meters wide.

The second floor had some windows, seemingly rooms with unknown functions.

The first floor was entirely composed of archways, dark inside, making it hard to see any details.

If viewed from above.

The aerial view would be a rectangle about thirty meters long and ten meters wide.

The two ends of the small building extended vertically into two more buildings, the left being two stories and the right three stories.

The top view of these three small buildings formed the shape of ’冂’, with a grassy area in the middle.

Aveline led Xu Yun and the others along a path through the center of the grassy area, straight to the small building with the cross, entering its first floor.

Upon entering the building, Xu Yun and the others realized that the first floor was actually hollow.

The other side of the entrance was a thick wall, only mildly decorated.

At the ends of the left and right sides of the small building were staircases, where a few students were moving up and down.

Aveline first pointed to the staircases and then to the ceiling, introducing:

"This building is the Fiola postgraduate dormitory. The two buildings on the sides are the bedrooms, the second floor of this central building is the dining area for gatherings, and the first floor is the corridor and evacuation passage."

"Your room is on the right side at 303, follow me."

Then, under Aveline’s guidance, the group slowly ascended the rustic wooden staircase, and in no time, they were near the third floor.

Just as they approached the top of the staircase, Xu Yun faintly heard some noise.

It seemed like people were gathered, doing something noisy.

A few seconds later.

As they turned the corner, they saw a few men standing in the middle of the corridor, eagerly discussing the items in their hands.

Soon.

One bald man shouted a sentence that Xu Yun would never forget in his lifetime:

"Hey, Milner, this time my socks haven’t been washed for six months, they’re definitely going to smell worse than yours!"

...

Note:

1. Sock smelling contests are a well-known ’tradition’ at Cambridge.

2. Had a check-up, the liver ultrasound hasn’t come out yet. Currently confirmed are old issues like tenosynovitis, fluid accumulation in finger, slight bend in lumbar vertebrae, and mitral valve regurgitation.....

I foresaw the heart issue because I’ve been feeling particularly uncomfortable lately, but fortunately, it’s not a major problem. The doctor said it’s a mild regurgitation.

Just had fluid drawn today, can’t type too much, so could I shamelessly ask for two more nights off?

In the past four months, I’ve exceeded the update target at the end of every month, so can I get a credit pass this time?

Asking for monthly votes, it’s the last day, can it reach 6000?
