I Can Fix My Talent in Hundred Lives
Chapter 874 - 606: [Silkworm Master] [Mother of Eternal Night]
Another hundred years have passed.
The sea changes hands, and the martial world ebbs and flows.
The Demon Master’s Palace, towering atop the Nine Heavens Cliff, with black tiles shrouded in clouds, lies dormant like an ancient beast, oppressing the world.
On this day, beneath the cliff, the winds and clouds changed.
A tall figure stepped through the clouds, his robes billowing wildly against the fierce wind, surrounded by an imposing aura that challenges the heavens and earth. Every step causes the air to faintly tremble.
The visitor was none other than Ren Tianxing, the first on today’s Celestial List.
He came uninvited, solely to challenge the creator of the secret martial arts system that has dominated for eight hundred years, claimed to be the most talented since ancient times, the Demon Master Xu Chen.
But before he could step into the Demon Master’s Palace, three unparalleled figures rose into the air, blocking the way before the cliff, their presence as vast as an abyss, impressively Celestial Beings!
Postnatal, Innate, Divine Realm, Celestial Being.
The four realms, where Divine Realm can be called Grandmaster, and Celestial Being is referred to as Earthly Immortal.
"To see our Demon Master, you must first pass through us three!"
The three were the third on the Celestial List, Seven Emotions Fairy, fifth, the Heavenly Fox Venerable, and sixth, the Crimson Training Sect Leader.
Today they appeared together, their aura shaking the heavens and earth, their voices resounding, scattering the clouds and mist below the cliff.
In the distance, between the mountains several dozen miles below the cliff, was packed with spectators who had come upon hearing the news.
From top Grandmasters of the Divine List to wandering knights of the martial world, all held their breath, dared not move rashly.
In the void, several figures with concealed aura stood silently.
All were Celestial level Earthly Immortals, now their expressions heavy, their gaze locked firmly on the cliff in front of the Demon Master’s Palace.
They knew this battle was the pinnacle duel at the Celestial level!
...
The Heavenly Fox Venerable wore a plain white long dress, her figure graceful like a goddess of ice and snow, her brows and eyes cold.
But in the next moment, her figure abruptly twisted, amidst the drifting clouds, she transformed into a black-and-white Heavenly Fox towering a dozen feet high, her fur shimmering with a cold glow.
And upon that fur, each inch of texture squirmed like densely packed vertical pupils!
Sanguine, cold, devoid of emotion, they stared unwaveringly at Ren Tianxing.
"Don’t look! Absolutely don’t look!"
In the distant spectator crowd, someone shouted and covered their eyes, yet some curious Postnatal Martial Artists sneakily took a glance.
In just a moment, those people’s eyes turned red, drool dripped from their mouths, they made hoarse, foolish laughter, their minds completely collapsing, turning into madmen who only knew how to scream.
Furthermore, some bled from all seven orifices, their heads swelled at a visible speed, exploded suddenly, scattering red and white matter, gruesome beyond bearing.
The Crimson Training Sect Leader coldly smiled, she was dazzlingly alluring.
As she acted, scarlet miasma swept across the sky, concealing her lower body, vaguely visible was a segment of scaly snake tail, subtly swaying within the miasma, adding an extra layer of enchanting allure.
Where the miasma passed, the void rippled with eerie undulations.
Beneath the cliff, an Innate Martial Artist unaware of the danger raised his eyes to look at the Crimson Training Sect Leader; the next second, he hugged his head and screamed, the pain felt like thousands of steel needles piercing.
He collapsed on the ground, his body convulsing violently, his skin visibly cracking inch by inch, black blood seeping from the fissures, internal organs in his abdomen swelling and writhing frenziedly, clearly visible raised contours.
People were shocked, seeing him vomit black blood, within the blood foam were countless tiny colored particles squirming.
Those were Poisonous Gu in the Crimson Training Sect Leader’s miasma, once in the body, they would devour the internal organs, draining the Essence Blood.
In just a few breaths, that Innate Martial Artist’s voice ceased, his body bizarrely inflated, like a blown-up balloon, skin thin as cicada wings, faintly visible were the Gu insects squirming inside.
Finally, with a "pop," it exploded, turning into a puddle of foul-smelling pus.
"Can’t look! Really can’t look!"
"Without reaching Divine Realm, don’t observe the true form of a Celestial!"
Spectators, terrified, backed away, covering their noses and mouths, shutting their eyes tightly, conversations erupted, full of fear and shock.
"This poisonous Gu is too eerie! More terrifying than a plague!"
"Ha, what’s a plague?"
"Back then, the Crimson Training Sect Leader ventured alone into the southern wilderness, poisoned a million troops, followed by nine plagues, killing tens of millions of southern barbarians, there’s still a shrine for the Crimson Training Sect Leader in the southern wilderness."
"Although Ren Tianxing is first on the Celestial List, facing these three, it’s likely he will struggle, right?"
And toward the front of the crowd, those Celestial-level masters, their expressions grew increasingly serious.
Especially upon seeing Seven Emotions Fairy make a move, all had their pupils constrict, felt a chill in their hearts, their aura couldn’t help but fluctuate slightly.
Seven Emotions Fairy had a gentle face, wearing colorful garments, her presence dignified as if Guanyin descended to the world.
But as she moved, she transformed into a giant human-faced spider, the upper half with human features, brows and eyes still alluring, the lower half covered with colorful fur of the spider body, eight sturdy spider legs covered in barbs, gleaming ominously.
She opened her mouth and spat, countless multicolored cobwebs emerged from the void, not ordinary cobwebs, but emitting faint fluorescence, crawling slowly like living creatures, crisscrossing, seemingly like "veins" extending from the void, with dark golden liquid surging inside, faintly hearing minute sounds of pulsation.
The cobwebs landed, quickly weaving a huge spider web, light and shadow flickered within the web, instantly ghostly figures controlled by the web appeared.
All were formidable masters, yet with vacant eyes, evidently long controlled, reduced to Seven Emotions Fairy’s puppets.
The leading two were particularly prominent, their aura so strong, it didn’t yield an inch to the top three masters by the cliff.
One had eight distinctly different faces floating above his head, either sad or happy, angry or foolish, lustful or resentful, each face vivid and lifelike, golden light dazzling around him, the shadow of a cassock surrounding, dignified as if a saintly Arhat.
