The campsite was located in a wide-open area. For the safety of the Forbidden Land, the Observatory of Cangnan Dao had previously cleared out the entire surrounding forest.

Because of this, the open space was large enough to hold the massive number of Demonic Forces members who came tumbling out of the Life and Death Road.

A full thousand people dropped from the sky. The scene was quite a spectacle.

Jiao Hong reacted with lightning speed. In an instant, he and his Observatory members sprang into action.

“Everyone, capture who you can! Don’t worry about whether they live or die!” Jiao Hong roared.

He didn’t know what method Shen Bai had used, but with so many Jianghu People suddenly appearing, this was no time for questions. It was time to start making arrests.

Members of the Three Great Demonic Forces had been covertly entering through the Life and Death Road. They never expected the path to suddenly tear open, causing nearly half of their number to fall out of the rift.

Among the thousand or so people, the majority were at the Void Realm, while a smaller number had reached the Celestial Spirit Realm.

This group of fiends was well-trained. The moment they hit the ground, they reacted, drawing their Weapons and preparing for a brutal fight.

But as the Observatory members charged, the invaders felt an overwhelming pressure, as if a terrifying mountain was crashing down upon them.

At the same time, a flash of blood-red Sword Qi tore through the night. It split into a thousand streaks, piercing through them with incredible speed.

Each streak of Sword Qi was powerful enough to pierce right through a master of the Celestial Spirit Realm.

The numerous Observatory members, coordinating with the blood-red Sword Qi, unleashed even greater power.

Shen Bai watched the Life and Death Road gradually fade away. “A pity,” he said with regret. “I couldn’t keep all of them here.”

He knew full well that Shen Bai was about to enter the Molten Rock Forbidden Land. Their failure to account for the Life and Death Road had placed a huge, unseen pressure on him.

To be frank, their failure was a major one.

Shen Bai shook his head. “Even the wise are not immune to error. It’s fine. Eliminating a thousand of them has saved me a great deal of unnecessary trouble.”

Jiao Hong sighed. “Lord Shen, you must be extremely careful after you enter the Forbidden Land.”

Shen Bai nodded. “Send a message to the Observatory and have them dispatch men to take these members of the Demonic Forces away. Also, do not relax the guard here.”

Jiao Hong agreed.

Having made one mistake, he was determined not to make another.

Shen Bai rubbed his chin and looked at the hazy Space before him. “I’m heading in,” he said.

Jiao Hong said quickly, “May your journey be smooth, Lord Shen. Return safely.”

Shen Bai lifted his foot and stepped into the hazy Space ahead.

‘Since the Forbidden Land is open, I might as well go have a look.’

‘This whole trip was for the Forbidden Land, after all. Letting the Demonic Forces run amok isn’t my style.’

As Shen Bai stepped inside, Cold Moon in hand, he immediately felt his surroundings begin to blur.

The first thing he noticed was the heat.

A scorching temperature washed over him, making his entire body feel parched and hot.

Shen Bai looked up. Everything he could see was not just scorching, but scalding.

Even the air was thick with the smell of sulfur.

The ground was charred black, like carbon.

Every so often, a plume of magma would erupt from the ground.

‘This truly is the Molten Rock Forbidden Land,’ Shen Bai thought. ‘Just this heat alone would force an ordinary Void Realm Cultivator to proceed with extreme caution.’

The temperature was simply too high. A normal person would likely die of dehydration in an instant.

‘I did just pull a portion of them out of the Life and Death Road,’ Shen Bai mused. ‘Perhaps the rest of them fled the moment they entered the Molten Rock Forbidden Land.’

‘After all, they wouldn’t dare face me directly.’

With that in mind, Shen Bai decided to explore the Molten Rock Forbidden Land first. The intelligence he’d received had been very clear on one point: there might be something strange within the Molten Rock Forbidden Land.

Shen Bai activated his Infinite Divination Skill, but found no clues.

He picked a direction, rose into the air, and flew off.
