Chapter 84: Chapter 81: Cleaning Up, Realm... Controlling All Laws?

He had forgotten that the splattered blood also needed to be cleaned up. Su Tan smiled awkwardly.

It was too crude. The Repel skill was entirely unsuitable for cleaning his body indoors. It might be fine in the wilderness, though, because out in the wild, he wouldn’t have to care about the flying stains. Su Tan prepared to find something to clean the room. But when his Realm touched the surrounding objects just now, he thought of another good idea.

The Realm was like his hands. Within the Realm, he could fetch objects through the air. Could it also be used to extract dust and clean up? How could cleaning the room in the dark compare to using the Realm to clean?

It was a brilliant idea.

Uh... My Immortal Celestial Lord.

If the Little White Wolf knew Su Tan’s thoughts, it would definitely cough up blood. That was a Realm! And an Overlord Body Realm to boot! And all he could think of was using it for cleaning? Did he know how hard it was to unlock a Realm? How harsh the conditions were? Did he know how much cultivation was required just to have a chance at unlocking a Realm? I don’t expect you to treat it like a treasure, but please don’t use it like this! It really lowers its value...

He immediately put the idea into action.

Su Tan activated his Realm, but this time he didn’t use the Repel skill. Instead, he used the Realm’s most basic function. In an instant, he sensed everything within his three-meter Realm: the table, chairs, floor, walls, the potted orchid... as well as the surface dust, bloodstains, and the impurities in the air. He could feel them all.

What was this feeling?

It was as if the three-meter Realm was a sphere filled with water. That water was a part of Su Tan’s body, like an organ. As long as something was enveloped by this water sphere, Su Tan could sense it—the shapes of the objects, their carved patterns, their textures, and so on.

It was different from visual perception. Su Tan could "touch" objects from 360 degrees. Beyond what sight could perceive, Su Tan’s Realm was actually far more detailed than vision. This might be an alternative way of "seeing," though it was still distinct from a true visual experience.

The Realm touching objects was like closing one’s eyes and feeling things with one’s hands, using touch to determine their shape and material. Su Tan could do this before with his hands. Now, he was using his Realm. The essence was the same, only now, it was infinitely more precise.

Was this experience the same as Divine Sense Power?

Su Tan didn’t know, because at this moment, he had not yet reached the level where he could project his Divine Sense Power outward.

With a mere thought, he willed the dust clinging to the floor, the table, the flower pot, and the orchid to detach from the objects. In an instant, every speck of dust, every drop of blood, and every layer of dirt hovered up from the surfaces, rising ten to twenty centimeters in the air, and floated there.

It actually worked!

Su Tan rejoiced. This was so much easier—and far cleaner—than wiping blindly with a rag in the dark like he used to. It was like comparing clouds to mud, a difference as vast as heaven and earth!

A Divine Technique!

"What are you doing?" the Little White Wolf asked. Seeing Su Tan utilize his Realm to lift all the surrounding dust and suspend it in mid-air with overwhelming presence, it thought Su Tan had comprehended some ultimate move in his Realm and wanted to show it off. Holding onto a sliver of anticipation, it watched him.

"What else could I be doing? Cleaning, of course!" Su Tan replied calmly. Couldn’t it tell?

"PFFT!"

The Little White Wolf stumbled. It actually coughed up blood! The large, watery eyes on its little face stared at Su Tan in shock, looking at him as if he were an alien.

"C-cleaning?" the Little White Wolf stammered, asking in disbelief, "You’re... you’re using... your Realm... to clean???"

"Can’t I?"

The Little White Wolf looked around. It held its breath.

What a waste!!!

It looked exactly like the special effects of a sci-fi blockbuster. Every suspended speck of dust and droplet of blood resembled thousands of stars. Standing amidst the dust, Su Tan looked like he was guarded by a myriad of stars, akin to the Lord of the Universe. As he took a step, the dust moved with him. It was an indescribably magical sight.

His words were the Law; his actions were the rules...

It gave off the visual impact that the entire universe and all its stars were moving along with him. And this... just this... was cleaning???

Using a Realm to clean! Didn’t he think this was using a sledgehammer to crack a nut? Didn’t he feel like he was insulting the Realm? Who had such a domineering way of cleaning?

However, there was an indescribable feeling to this scene of Su Tan cleaning. It felt... majestic and boundlessly epic! If one truly envisioned the dust as stars, it looked exactly like a deity descending upon the cosmos, surrounded by flickering stars.

Initially, the Little White Wolf had thought it a waste, disdainful of how Su Tan treated his Realm. But as time passed, unknowingly... it became entranced. Its mind broadened, and its horizons seemed to expand. It imagined itself standing in the universe, just like Su Tan.

Su Tan couldn’t care less about any of that. Cleaning was just cleaning.

A spherical radius of three meters wasn’t small. Su Tan walked around the room, and in no time, all the dust and garbage were extracted.

"Condense!"

With a thought, thousands of dust specks condensed in front of him, merging and mixing to form a fist-sized spherical clump of dirt. Stripping the dust off objects, condensing it, and throwing it into the trash can—what a convenient way to clean.

Su Tan was delighted. He used to think his room was quite tidy, but after using his Realm for a deep clean today, he realized that what he previously considered clean wasn’t actually that clean at all.

"Myriad stars return to one... All Laws Return to One... The universe returns to one... All Daos return to one..."

CLUNK!

Su Tan tossed the ball of garbage into the trash can just as he heard the Little White Wolf’s thoughtful muttering beside his ear.

"Hey... what are you doing? What nonsense are you spouting?" Su Tan asked.

"Were... were you just deriving the ultimate techniques of the universe returning to one, All Laws Return to One, and all Daos returning to one?" the Little White Wolf asked excitedly.

Su Tan stared blankly, completely bewildered. "The universe returning to one? All Laws Return to One? What kind of nonsense is this? Are you insane?"

He couldn’t view the recent scene from the Little White Wolf’s perspective, nor could he know the enlightenment it had just experienced. He simply didn’t understand why the Little White Wolf was so excited.

"The heart moves with the mind, the mind moves with the heart. With a single thought, the Law moves with me, and the stars of the universe move with me. I am the Law, and I am the Dao. I am the sole ruler of All Heavens and the universe..." The Little White Wolf had fallen into a state of delirium.

"Damn... is this wolf having a chuunibyou episode?" Su Tan thought. He had only ever read such cringeworthy lines in his past life in those novels where protagonists constantly talked about "defying the heavens." Hearing them spoken aloud gave him fatal secondhand embarrassment.

"With a single thought, one can condense the stars of the universe... condense all Daos... What kind of Dao is this?"

Su Tan facepalmed and shook his head, deciding to ignore this White Wolf who was hopelessly trapped in its own grandiose delusions.

"Take your time thinking. When you’ve figured it out, hurry up and take out the trash."

He decided to go and clean the other rooms. Knowing how convenient and thorough cleaning with his Realm was, a certain Mr. Su, who was a bit of a neat freak, wouldn’t be able to sleep unless he cleaned the rest of the house.

"The Realm is a pretty good thing," Su Tan evaluated. He felt that with the Realm, his future was full of promise. Not just for cleaning—it would definitely be handy when cooking, and useful for walking around too. By releasing the Realm in unfamiliar environments, he could sense objects within a three-meter radius, so he wouldn’t have to worry about bumping into things. Life was going to get a lot better.

WHOOSH!

Seeing Su Tan leave, the Little White Wolf got up neatly, hugged the trash can with its two front paws, and stood upright. It carried the trash can out of the house, dumped it in the garbage bin by the main road, and then ran back to continue watching Su Tan clean (control) the house (all Laws).

It watched in absolute fascination.

Su Tan felt that the Little White Wolf was acting a bit strange. However, he let it be, too lazy to pay attention to a guy irredeemably stuck in its delusions of grandeur. He still didn’t know what his unintentional actions would bring to the Little White Wolf...
