Chapter 61: Chapter 59: Logging Back into the Void God Realm, Monk!

"DING! Welcome back!"

THUD THUD THUD!

Su Tan felt his body become weightless before he reappeared on the Original Summoning Platform in the Void God Realm.

In the Void God Realm, one could log out from any location. However, upon logging back in, they would always start from the Original Summoning Platform. There was more than one summoning platform; they were scattered throughout various locations in the Void God Realm.

During this login, Su Tan and the Little White Wolf encountered others who appeared at the same time. However, unlike their last visit, no conflicts broke out. Upon logging in, everyone hurriedly left the summoning platform. People only logged in here when they had important matters to attend to. Who would wander aimlessly in the Void God Realm for no reason? The connection fee was expensive! Even those who logged in just to play around out of boredom wouldn’t linger at the summoning platform. Other places were far more interesting.

"Let’s go to the Cemetery of Cultivation Techniques!" Su Tan had no intention of staying long either, heading straight for his destination. He needed to find Cultivation Techniques, Elixirs, and Martial Techniques! Especially Martial Techniques and Elixirs.

"Alright!" The Little White Wolf led the way.

During Su Tan’s previous visit, he had caused a massive uproar in the Void God Realm. Many cultivators were still searching for information about him, hoping to catch a glimpse of his greatness. The aftershocks of that event had yet to dissipate, and quite a few idle people were still looking for him.

Su Tan was completely unaware of this. If he had known, he definitely would have made an effort to conceal his identity. He simply did not like trouble. Interestingly enough, those people only knew the name Tanzi. They had no idea who Tanzi actually was, even mistaking him for a female fairy. As a result, Su Tan and the Little White Wolf walked through the Void God Realm without being recognized.

Walking in the Void God Realm was actually no different from the real world. Su Tan’s vision was pitch black, and he couldn’t see the path ahead. The road beneath his feet was uneven, inevitably filled with bumps and potholes.

To others, the Void God Realm might be a paradise for cultivation. Regardless of one’s cultivation base, everyone’s realm was equalized here. There was no fear of death, and everything that existed in the real world could be found in the Void God Realm. This included cities, casinos, and brothels. Some people even treated it like an addictive online game, clearing a plot of land to farm, engaging in online romances with strangers, and forming couples within the realm. The joy was endless.

For some, this was their second home. The pressure here was far less than in the outside world, making it a rare place for entertainment.

But for Su Tan, the feeling here was virtually identical to the outside world. It was all hollow and dark. His mobility was still restricted, and he couldn’t see any beautiful scenery. The Void God Realm didn’t bring him much joy. He remained blind, unable to play and have fun like everyone else.

"Annan City is just ahead. Do you want to go in and take a look?"

"No need. Let’s go straight to the Cemetery of Cultivation Techniques!" Su Tan said. He had no intention of stopping anywhere. Every time, he headed straight for his goal.

With the Little White Wolf leading the way, it didn’t take long for Su Tan to arrive at the Cemetery of Cultivation Techniques. This wasn’t his first time here. The crowd was still large; it was crowded every day. Some people rushed into the Sea of Stones without a moment’s pause, while others walked out of the Stone Forest looking exhausted.

Groups of young boys and girls formed teams to explore together. Teams consisted of four or five girls, groups of guys, mixed genders, or even couples venturing in together. Some genuinely wanted to comprehend something from the Sea of Stones, while others were simply accompanying girls to relax, their true intentions lying elsewhere.

"Amitabha Buddha. Brother, are you interested in teaming up to explore the Stone Forest together?" As Su Tan approached the Stone Forest, a shifty-eyed Fat Monk came over to ask if they wanted to form a party.

His voice sounded like a screeching duck, incredibly unpleasant to the ear, and his body reeked of a greasy stench. Su Tan’s first impression was that this guy was not a proper Monk.

Outside the Stone Forest, some solo wanderers felt it was boring to enter alone, so they waited to team up with people they found pleasing to the eye. Su Tan hadn’t encountered this situation last time because the attention of everyone loitering nearby had been drawn to Chen Huangbei obtaining the strongest Sacred Body Cultivation Method Manual.

"We don’t need to. Go away, go away." Before Su Tan could speak, the Little White Wolf started shooing the Monk away.

"Huh? A talking puppy?" The Fat Monk was somewhat surprised to see the Little White Wolf speaking human language.

"Who the hell are you calling a dog? You’re a dog! Your whole family is a pack of dogs!" Being called a dog instantly made the Little White Wolf bristle with anger. Wolves and dogs were not the same. Wolves ate meat, while dogs ate shit. The Wolf Race looked down on dogs the most. Being called a dog was the greatest insult to a wolf. "Get lost, or I’ll break your legs!"

"Quite fierce, aren’t we?" Seeing the Little White Wolf baring its fangs, clearly not joking, the Fat Monk shook his head, chanted a Buddhist name, and turned to leave.

The Little White Wolf thought, "That damn bald donkey. Count yourself lucky. This king won’t hold it against you today." If Su Tan hadn’t instructed it to cause less trouble and keep a low profile before logging into the Void God Realm, it would have already pounced and beaten up that Monk given its temper.

"There are a lot of people asking to team up in the Stone Forest. They’re all scammers and guys with ulterior motives. Just ignore them!" the Little White Wolf explained to Su Tan. It deliberately raised its voice!

It was one thing to say it... but what was the point of raising its volume?

Su Tan didn’t want to team up with anyone in the first place. When the Little White Wolf chased the Monk away, he didn’t say a word, silently agreeing with its actions.

"These people claim they want to team up and share the rewards, but that’s a lie. Once you enter the Stone Forest, they’ll rob you of the Cultivation Techniques you’ve comprehended. I don’t know how many newcomers have been scammed by them. As I see it, this Monk isn’t a good person either. He’s simply cut from the same cloth as those scammers. We need to be on guard against these types of bad guys from now on!"

"Yeah, I got it!" Su Tan said with a smile.

The Fat Monk’s mouth twitched. He thought, "Hey, hey, hey... I just turned around, and you guys are already talking about me like this? Is that appropriate? Even though it makes perfect sense! But... couldn’t you wait until I walked a bit further away before saying it out loud? Don’t I need to save face?"

The Fat Monk, who had originally intended to turn and leave, turned back around after hearing this to face Su Tan and the Little White Wolf.

"I see this little wolf-dog seems to have a lot of prejudice against us monks!" the Fat Monk said with a beaming smile. He looked just like the Maitreya Buddha.

"I’m not targeting anyone, but since you chimed in..." The Little White Wolf glared coldly, looking at the Monk with sarcasm. In this Void God Realm, the Little White Wolf definitely wasn’t the strongest in combat. But when it came to bickering and mocking... who was it afraid of? Even if the opponent was a regional Overlord, the Little White Wolf would still dare to curse at them.

"Haha..." Despite being mocked so blatantly, the Monk didn’t get angry; instead, he laughed. "Interesting, interesting!

"This monk sincerely invited the two of you to explore the secrets of the cemetery together. It’s one thing if you don’t appreciate the gesture, but you even spoke out to mock me. I can tell that you two are looking for a fight..."

"What if we are?" The Little White Wolf was a troublemaker who was naturally belligerent.

"Amitabha Buddha! This monk is a man of the cloth, so naturally, I do not like fighting and killing. Monks are compassionate at heart. Although you disrespect this monk, I will not hold it against you. However... two benefactors, I advise you to value harmony, because from your facial features, this poor monk can see... you two will suffer a bloody disaster recently... and you will very likely lose wealth... Bear this in mind, bear this in mind!"

"Hmph, I thought you turned around because you had the guts to fight us, but it turns out you’re just a coward!" the Little White Wolf said disdainfully. Its mouth was as foul as ever.

"This monk has always valued harmony. I only turned back to reason with the two of you, nothing more!" It seemed the Fat Monk had no intention of making a move, regardless of how much the Little White Wolf provoked him.

This was incredibly annoying. The Little White Wolf felt as if its heavy blow had landed on soft cotton.

"A coward is a coward!" the Little White Wolf said.
