Su Tan was taken aback. This was the first time he had received energy feedback from the outside world. His expression was a bit strange. Was he pleasantly surprised? A little. The feedback had come too suddenly.

He wondered, "When a creature successfully cultivates a technique I fused, I can receive energy feedback?"

So that was it. No wonder he hadn’t obtained any energy from the outside world before. This was how it worked.

"Mhm, successfully cultivating the first illustration in just seven days... not bad at all," Su Tan nodded in praise.

The Little White Wolf originally wanted to brag a little, but when it remembered that Su Tan had only taken a little over an hour while it had taken seven whole days, it couldn’t bring itself to boast anymore.

"My cultivation talent is actually really good. It’s just my first time encountering such a bizarre Cultivation Technique, so I wasn’t used to it," the Little White Wolf declared, brimming with confidence. "The first step is always the hardest. Now that I’ve adapted, just you wait—I’ll catch up to you in no time!"

"Haha... I’ll be waiting!" Su Tan smiled.

Was the first step really the only hard part? The first illustration was indeed difficult, but it was the easiest of the nine. The subsequent ones would only get harder. Su Tan didn’t have the heart to deal a blow to its fragile little ego. The first step was hard, the middle was harder, and the end was the hardest!

"You might not believe it, but my comprehension is one in a million. I’ll catch up to you soon enough. However, before that happens, you can give me a few pointers on the tricks to the second illustration!"

Su Tan was speechless. This little guy was truly stubborn. Yet, reading between the lines, Su Tan could tell that the creature had completely submitted to him. It just refused to admit it out loud. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have sincerely asked for guidance.

Shrugging, Su Tan began to instruct the Little White Wolf.

The little guy listened intently. The key to its success with the first illustration had been recalling Su Tan’s words, which triggered a sudden epiphany. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have succeeded so easily. Now, it truly felt that not a single word of Su Tan’s guidance was wasted. Every sentence hit the mark.

"The second illustration is more than ten times harder than the first. Some things can only be sensed, not explained," Su Tan said. "I can’t pass on everything I’ve comprehended, but I can express about seventy to eighty percent of the key points. The remaining twenty percent will depend on your own comprehension!"

"You’re underestimating me. To tell you the truth, when my tribe tested my comprehension, I broke a record that had stood for ten thousand years!" When it came to comprehension, the Little White Wolf was incredibly smug.

For it to say such things meant the little guy had truly accepted Su Tan from the bottom of its heart. These words were somewhat akin to a primary school student showing off their test scores to a parent.

"I’m out. I already gave you everything I could get!" the Little White Wolf replied. "Besides, I already gave you over a hundred books. Is that not enough?"

"It’s far from enough. If I want the Overlord Body Bloodline to reach the Perfect level, I still need a massive amount of Body Refining Techniques!" Su Tan didn’t hide his intentions. Since the Little White Wolf was also cultivating the Dominator Body now, explaining things clearly meant the wolf would definitely hand over whatever it had. Hiding it would only be counterproductive.

"You... you’ve actually never heard of the Void God Realm? Did you crawl out from under a rock on some savage planet?"

Translated into Earth terms, the Little White Wolf was basically asking if he was from Mars.

"You’ve never heard of the Demon Emperor Forest, and you’ve never heard of the Void God Realm. Just how out of touch are you?" the Little White Wolf teased.

Su Tan shrugged and didn’t reply. The Little White Wolf would probably never know that its offhand joke had accidentally hit upon the truth.
