I Can Enlighten Everything
Chapter 80: Visitors from the Holy Hall
Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Visitors from the Holy Hall
The Bronze Hall was still controlled by the military. However, considering the special circumstances on the other side, they merely guarded it and had not yet sent anyone to make contact.
Shen He and Vierlia stood above the Teleportation Array.
Activation.
A flash of light passed, and they arrived in the other world.
"Your Majesty!"
A neat, unified shout rang in their ears as a squad of female guards clad in armor dropped to one knee in unison.
"Rise, Dina. Has anything happened recently?"
Vierlia’s aura and even her way of speaking had completely changed. It made Shen Yun subconsciously glance at her. It felt like the transformation a homeroom teacher underwent before and after entering a classroom. Thinking back to how shy Vierlia usually looked, he found the contrast a bit thrilling.
"To answer Your Majesty," the captain of the guards, Dina, hesitated as she glanced at Shen Yun.
"It is fine. This Great Saint from the Otherworld is my chosen fiancé," Vierlia said calmly. "He is also the future Prince Consort of our kingdom. There is no need to avoid him."
Gasps of shock rippled through the squad. As soon as she said this, Shen Yundu could feel the surprise radiating from the guards in front of him. This was especially true for Dina; the pleasant surprise in her eyes was practically overflowing.
A Great Saint! On the entire continent, aside from the Holy Hall and the Magic Association, only two nations boasted a Great Saint! To think that Her Majesty the Queen had brought one back from the Otherworld—and as a future Prince Consort, no less!
"Understood. Dina greets His Highness the Prince Consort."
Dina respectfully bowed her head in greeting to Shen Yun. As the Queen’s trusted confidante, she naturally hoped for the kingdom to grow stronger and more prosperous, and she implicitly trusted Her Majesty’s judgment. After bowing, she continued, "Yesterday, the Holy Hall sent personnel to inquire about the whereabouts of Lord Alberta Knight. Aside from that, nothing of major importance has occurred."
"Alberta..."
Although Shen Yun could not understand their language, he had Little Nine to translate for him. Alberta was still inside his Tripod Cauldron right now. Lifeforms within the Tripod Cauldron were kept in a frozen state of slumber. Coupled with the fact that Alberta possessed a Golden Core, he certainly wouldn’t starve to death.
"The Holy Hall has a total of three Great Saints, right?" Shen Yun asked Vierlia.
"That’s right," Vierlia nodded. "With over a dozen experts in the Saint Realm, they are the most powerful faction on the continent. That is why Alberta..."
"There’s definitely a problem with Alberta." Shen Yun frowned, but his brow quickly smoothed out. He reached out and gently patted Vierlia’s back. "Don’t worry, leave everything to me."
"Mhm."
Vierlia blinked, finding herself rather enjoying Shen Yun’s subtle intimacies in both his actions and his tone.
This Bronze Hall had been moved to a location very close to the Violet Royal Capital, hidden within a natural valley rift. When Shen Yun stepped out beneath the open sky, a light drizzle was falling.
He could not delay this any longer.
"I’ve suddenly gained some insights," Shen Yun said, looking up. "The Heavenly Dao of your world is somewhat different from ours. Vierlia, I’m going to find a place to cultivate for a bit. I will be back by tomorrow morning at the latest."
"Alright. Within a two-hundred-kilometer radius centered around the Royal Capital, everything is the territory of the Violet Kingdom," Vierlia said softly.
She didn’t overthink it, knowing the Heavenly Dao of different worlds would naturally have certain variations. After saying his piece, Shen Yun shot up into the clouds. Before long, faint flashes of lightning receded into the distance.
Vierlia kept her eyes on the lightning until it was completely out of sight. Only then did she let Dina drape a cloak over her shoulders and wave her hand. "Return to the Royal Capital."
Meanwhile, Shen Yun accelerated, sprinting all the way above the clouds. The high altitudes of this world were incredibly pristine. There was also a massive moon, and the complete lack of satellite or radar surveillance gave Shen Yun a profound sense of freedom.
In just half an hour, he arrived at the borders of the Violet Kingdom.
"Isn’t this a bit too small?"
Shen Yun couldn’t help but sigh. He finally understood why Vierlia was able to leave her kingdom for such a long time. Her status as an expert of the Saint Realm alone meant she had absolutely no need to worry about domestic turmoil. A queen who could patrol her entire nation in under an hour was a terrifying deterrent in itself.
"Master, there’s nobody around here," Little Nine said, coming to a halt above a forest.
"Here is fine, then."
Shen Yun took a deep breath and landed on the ground, taking the tank out from the Tripod Cauldron. He suddenly felt a little nervous, but there was no longer any need for hesitation.
He reached out and pressed his hand against the tank’s rough exterior. The mark on the back of his hand suddenly bloomed with a vibrant green radiance. As if recreating a past scene, green branches sprouted from his arm and pierced through the entire tank, completely enveloping it in light.
This time, Shen Yun’s Divine Thought was able to clearly capture the transformation. A massive influx of Heavenly Dao Insights surged directly into his mind. Yet, like a sudden flash of inspiration, they quickly dissipated, flowing steadily into the tank before him.
A soul was germinating.
A brand-new, nascent life!
RUMBLE!
Dark clouds gradually gathered in the sky above as thunder roared. The animals in the forest scattered and fled, driven by basic biological instinct.
"Master, we should probably move further away."
Little Nine led Shen Yun out of the Thunder Tribulation’s range. Meanwhile, the tank had already taken to the sky.
All that was left to do was wait.
On the other side, Vierlia, who had returned to the Violet Royal Capital, received some very bad news.
Bill, one of the two Vice Hall Masters of the Holy Hall, had actually come in person. Even Ambrose, the founding king of the Violet Kingdom who had been in secluded cultivation deep within the Royal Palace, had been alerted.
"Vierlia, did Alberta Knight not return with you?"
Ambrose was a burly, white-haired old man who looked somewhat drowsy. As a five-hundred-and-twelve-year-old expert of the Saint Realm, his lifespan was already nearing its absolute limit.
"Grandfather, please return and rest. I will handle everything," Vierlia said. A fleeting trace of concern flashed through her eyes, though she kept it hidden from her expression.
"You," Ambrose half-squinted, shaking his head. "In terms of cultivation talent, you are undoubtedly the greatest genius on the continent. However, I have told you more than once that before you become a Great Saint, you must remain patient and cautious... Neither I nor the Violet Kingdom can offer you our protection any longer."
For his descendant to be a genius capable of stunning the entire continent, Ambrose was naturally overjoyed. However, the experiences of his five-hundred-year life had deeply ingrained in him the dangers of overreaching. At the very least, the Holy Hall would not necessarily sit back and watch a genius with the potential to become a deity rise to power.
"Grandfather." Vierlia sat upright on her throne. A faint smile graced the corners of her lips, and in that instant, it was as if even the light in the room had grown a few shades brighter. She repeated the same phrase. "We will handle everything."
She was no longer alone now. Even though she knew the Holy Hall likely harbored ill intentions with this visit, Shen Yun’s earlier reassurance to "leave everything to me" left her heart incomparably tranquil.
This level of reliance was something even she found slightly unbelievable.
