Chapter 661: Chapter 415: Elixir Power That Ignores Defense! Mission Accomplished, Returning Home!
The vehicle sped along the desolate road, wheels kicking up clouds of dust.
The driver, a blond man, was Clay. His black alloy mask covering half of his face integrated multiple tactical monocles, continuously scanning the road conditions and surrounding environment data.
In an inadvertent glance at the rearview mirror inside the car, just as he was preparing to observe the back—
The red electronic eye on the right side of his mask, typically dim for precision aiming, suddenly sensed an incomprehensible high threat and burst forth with dazzling crimson light!
The frequency was as frantic as an alarm on the brink of overload!
"What the hell... is it?"
Clay’s breath came to an abrupt halt as through the small rearview mirror, he clearly saw.
On the vehicle’s rear trunk bar that was supposed to be empty, there sat an old man dressed in a dark Zhongshan suit, holding a cane!
When did he get on?!
Why hadn’t all his sensors, weight detectors, and thermal scanners responded at all?
He just sat there silently, as if he’d been there from the start, merging with the entire car and expanse of desert.
More terrifying to Clay was that the old man in the rearview mirror seemed... like he was meeting his shocked gaze through the mirror.
In the depths of those profound eyes, a faint golden light flowed, carrying an indifference akin to overlooking ants from above.
A feeling of dread stemming from life’s instinct, even beyond what his mechanically modified body could comprehend, surged through Clay’s entire circuitry like high-voltage currents!
"Enemy attack!!!"
He used almost all of his processor resources to squeeze out this distorted, deformed electronic roar from the rigid speaker.
"Hank! Someone’s on our car! At the back! Take him out, quickly!"
Clay, driving the car, issued a twisted electronic roar filled with incredulous horror.
In the backseat, the heavily armored man referred to as Hank instinctively wanted to raise the terrifying heavy rifle in seeking the target.
Thud!
A muffled yet slick penetrating sound rang out.
Out of nowhere, a seemingly ordinary wooden cane pierced through the sturdy seat back as easily as a hot knife through butter.
The cane’s tip precisely rested against the thick high-strength alloy armor on Hank’s chest!
Although the unbreakable alloy shell successfully blocked the physical piercing of the cane’s tip.
But before Hank had the chance to feel relief for surviving, an indescribable terrifying force had already seeped through the cane, through the hard alloy, without obstruction!
This was more than a physical impact.
It was the sacred power of a Grandmaster at the Embracing Elixir Realm, a perfect fusion of the flesh’s vigorous energy and Martial Arts Will—Elixir Power!
Its power and mystery far surpassed the Dark Force’s penetration and Transformation’s balance of hard and soft.
This force disregarded physical defense and acted directly on the flesh inside the alloy!
"Urgh—!"
Hank felt as if an invisible mountain of ten thousand feet, imbued with overwhelming heavenly force, had ruthlessly smashed into his viscera, grinding each nerve, even impacting the junctions of his mechanical parts and consciousness!
Hank’s alloy armor appeared intact, but in truth, the flesh beneath, along with semi-mechanical organs and nerve interfaces, suffered a devastating shock and erosion in that instant!
In a matter of seconds, Hank’s eyes bulged out, blood vessels rapidly webbing across the whites, as he spewed a mouthful of blood mixed with organ fragments, staining his cold mask red.
His massive frame seemed as though all the bones had been pulled out in an instant.
Together with his heavy gear, it collapsed in a heap, the heavy rifle clattering down at his feet.
At this moment, Hank not only had his organs utterly shattered and his life extinguished.
His nervous system and consciousness had entirely disintegrated under the impact of the spirit force as immense as heaven’s wrath.
Even though there was a trace of physiological reaction left in his flesh, his consciousness had long been crushed into oblivion, plunged into eternal darkness.
In merely an instant, the heavily equipped mechanical warrior lost all signs of life in this horrific, bizarrely brutal manner, both internally and externally destroyed.
"Fuckin’ hell! God damn bastard! Rayne, hold tight!"
The blond man Clay saw the whole process of Hank being instantly killed through the car’s rearview mirror.
A chill shot straight up from his spine to the top of his head, nearly freezing his consciousness.
Without any hesitation, Clay issued a twisted roar, the hydraulic systems in his arms pressed to the limit and snapped the steering wheel hard!
Squeal—!!!
The tires of the high-speed off-road pickup screamed ear-piercingly in violent friction with the road surface as the entire body instantly lost balance.
Like a top gone berserk, it spun out a heart-stopping arc on the route, kicking up a sandstorm.
The enormous centrifugal force brutally flung unfixed items in the truck, crashing against the cabin walls with crackling sounds.
Clay felt as though he was driving a runaway missile.
Because what just happened was scarier than the scariest ghost movie by a hundred times!
Oh my God, God bless, what the hell kind of monster is this? That old man sitting at the car’s rear is no human!
He now had only one thought—shake off this terrifying old man from the car with the craziest swing!
