Chapter 651: Chapter 411: Mysterious Dragon Roar! How Could Yin Energy Appear Here! (3)
At the moment when the lingering sound of the Dragon’s Roar was still echoing in Lu Xuan’s mind—
"Bang!"
The room’s door was abruptly burst open by an invisible Qi Force, as two figures appeared like startled swans at the entrance.
The elder on the left was dressed in a bright red Taoist robe, the robe’s hem embroidered with mysterious cloud patterns.
The elder on the right was clad in a solemn purple Taoist robe, holding an ancient-looking duster.
Both men’s hair and beard were white, yet their faces were ruddy, their eyes sparkling with hidden brilliance, and an aura of righteous fervor emitted from them, clearly they were accomplished Taoist masters.
"Mr. Shi, Mr. Huang!" The purple-robed Taoist’s voice was like a large bell, urgent in tone, "Just now, we sensed the presence of Yin Sha Qi here while meditating, and have come to investigate!"
His sharp gaze quickly scanned the entire room, from the ceiling to the corners, from everyone present to every object, leaving no corner unchecked.
After confirming no trace of yin was left, the purple-robed Taoist exhaled deeply, raising his duster lightly: "Fortunate indeed, the evil presence seems to have been dispelled."
"Evil presence? What evil presence?"
The purple-robed Taoist’s words left everyone present stunned.
Lu Xiaoying and Gong Qing looked at each other, completely clueless about what had transpired.
Yet, two people among them instantly grasped the key—Mr. Huang and Huang Tangshi, both simultaneously turned their gaze to Lu Xuan.
Especially Huang Tangshi, Mr. Lu’s unusual reaction earlier perfectly confirmed the purple-robed Taoist’s words at this moment.
Mr. Huang leaned slightly forward, his tone concerned: "Mr. Xuan, did something happen just now that we aren’t aware of?"
"Why were these two grandmasters startled into personally arriving!"
Huang Tangshi’s response was more direct, he looked seriously at Lu Xuan: "Mr. Lu, was there something unclean appearing just now?"
The two Taoists also followed the gaze of Huang Tangshi and Mr. Huang, earnestly sizing up the extraordinary Lu Xuan for the first time.
"Yes, there was indeed something unclean briefly observing here."
Lu Xuan replied indifferently, his gaze then fell on the two Taoists.
At the moment their eyes met—
"Boom!"
The two Taoists felt a vast, sun-like scorching aura rush toward them!
It wasn’t murderous intent, but pure and ultimate life force, like the noonday sun, radiating infinite light and vitality.
Sainthood through the physical body!
This realm, only recorded in ancient texts, reverberated in their minds like a mighty bell and drum.
They had cultivated for decades, seen countless national martial arts masters honing their bodies, including consummate grandmasters.
But no one had ever reached a supreme state as the elderly gentleman before them, where the body is flawlessly refined, resonating with the heavens and earth!
The purple-robed Taoist’s duster moved automatically without wind, he suppressed the shock in his heart, exchanging an astonished glance with the deep-red robed elder beside him.
Both Taoists trembled slightly, unconsciously stepping half a step back, their foreheads dotted with perspiration.
Who could this deity that descended to earth possibly be?
The two of them had cultivated for sixty years but never encountered such an awe-inspiring level of life force. This was clearly a deity among mortals!
Lu Xuan paid no attention to their shock, his gaze like lightning, suddenly fixed on the feet of the red-robed Taoist.
"Master Taoists, just now those things left behind a little something."
The red-robed Taoist heard this and followed Lu Xuan’s gaze to look at his own feet.
He swiftly floated back a dozen feet, as if not standing on ordinary floorboards but red-hot iron.
Everyone traced the direction of his gaze, their hearts all jolted.
On the polished floor lay a piece of ’road paper’ deliberately cut into a round shape.
This paper was originally intended to be scattered towards the Yellow Springs at funerals, paying respects to wandering spirits, now artificially cut away the center representing ’square hole,’ forming a complete circle.
A lock of dark, glossy hair was tightly wound and wrapped around this ominous circular paper money.
The entire room fell silent in an instant, a silence so profound that a needle dropping could be heard.
"Hmph, damnable arts, summoning spirits and causing havoc, unscrupulous dark sorcery!"
The red-robed Taoist’s gaze was piercing, he exchanged a glance with the purple-robed Taoist, both seeing the seriousness in each other’s eyes.
The red-robed Taoist pointed as if holding a sword, drawing a circle in the air towards the evil thing on the ground.
A faint and barely perceptible pure light flashed, he then bent down, carefully using a specially crafted yellow charm to cushion his hand, cautiously picking up the round road-coin wrapped with hair.
"Mr. Shi, Mr. Huang," The purple-robed Taoist turned to the two elders and solemnly bowed, "This item is both a clue and a root of disaster, we must immediately proceed to the meditative chamber, to jointly employ the ’Tracing Source and Seeking Truth’ technique."
The red-robed Taoist snorted coldly, his tone tinged with absolute confidence and a hint of murder: "Rest assured, sirs."
"With this medium in hand, no matter which gutter corner the practitioner hides, he will find no escape!"
"Before sunset, rest assured we will provide an explanation!"
With these words, the two of them saluted again, holding the evil thing, they turned to leave briskly, their wide sleeves stirring a gentle breeze.
Seeing the two Taoists depart with the clue, the time being ripe, Lu Xuan turned and looked at Lu Xiaoying beside him, his gaze gentle, he smiled.
"Xiaoying, Xiaoqing, you two go outside to the garden for a walk, enjoy the scenery."
"I have something to discuss privately with your Grandpa Huang and Grandpa Shi."
Lu Xiaoying sensibly nodded, promptly pulling the still dazed Gong Qing to her feet, bowing to the two elders before exiting the room.
Once they left, the door gently closed.
The room’s atmosphere immediately transformed, shifting from topics of family to matters of significant gravity.
Lu Xuan’s visit to the Capital was not merely for visiting the original body’s acquaintances.
The karma left by this body’s previous owner was one aspect, but he himself also had important business requiring the assistance of the master of this place.
Meanwhile, Mr. Huang and Huang Tangshi exchanged a glance, their expressions also turning solemn.
Their eagerness to invite Lu Xuan was certainly not just for reminiscing.
It was a significant request concerning the destiny of the nation.
