I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain
Chapter 527
Late at night, Lin Mo sat alone at a small roadside stall near Qingling University, ordering a plate of stir-fried rice noodles to mourn the emptiness in his stomach. Ever since his expulsion, the school had demanded that he vacate his quarters as soon as possible.
He spent the whole day scouring the area for a place to stay and finally managed to rent a cheap room. His belongings were already packed in the faculty dorm, ready to be moved the next morning. For tonight, he would have to spend one last night in the teacher’s residence.
After finishing his noodles, he began the walk back to campus. The path was dim and quiet, with hardly a soul in sight. But not long into his return, a group of five or six men suddenly appeared, each holding makeshift weapons, blocking his path.
One of them took out his phone, glanced at Lin Mo’s photo, then at Lin Mo himself, and after confirming the match, gave a nod. Without warning, they all rushed forward, clearly intending to teach him a lesson.
Lin Mo merely sneered, not the least bit shaken. His mood had been foul all day, and he had been craving an outlet. These fools showed up at just the right time.
Based on instinct, he figured they were either sent by Hu Zuixiang or Wang Haoran. But the reason didn’t matter—whoever they were, they were getting beaten.
Thanks to the system’s enhancements, his physical strength had soared. He was no longer the same man he had once been.
With explosive force and wild aggression, Lin Mo lunged into the group. In mere moments, he had beaten them into the ground. Realizing they were no match, the thugs scrambled away like frightened rats.
Lin Mo grabbed one of them by the collar and barked, “Who sent you?”
The man trembled, stammering out, “It—it was Hu Zuixiang! She told us to teach you a lesson!”Lin Mo let out a cold laugh, then grabbed the man by the shirt and growled, “Go back and tell Hu Zuixiang—this time, I’m letting it slide. But if she dares come after me again, I won’t be so forgiving.”
The man nodded like a frantic chicken, voice trembling as he blurted, “O-okay! I’ll tell her, I swear!”
Lin Mo shot him one last kick to the backside before turning away, letting him scramble off in panic.
After venting some of his frustration, Lin Mo felt a bit lighter. He continued walking, ready to head back for the night. But just as he rounded the corner, another figure stepped into his path.
This time, it wasn’t a gang—it was just one person, face covered, standing alone beneath the shadows.
Lin Mo almost burst out laughing. “What is this, some kind of martial arts drama?” he muttered. “Wearing a mask, how ridiculous.”
He didn’t feel the slightest fear. “You here to start something too?” he asked with a smirk. “Who sent you—Wang Haoran?”
The masked man didn’t respond, but his subtle reaction confirmed that Lin Mo had guessed correctly. Without a word, the man began walking toward him.
Lin Mo’s blood boiled with anticipation. He hadn’t gotten his fill earlier. Now, another opponent? Perfect.
Compared to Hu Zuixiang, he hated Wang Haoran even more. That bastard sabotaged him in the classroom, made a fool of him on the basketball court—every insult still fresh in his mind.
If this masked man was working for Wang Haoran, then he deserved a proper beating.
Fueled by rage, Lin Mo charged forward like a tiger leaping from the mountains. He wasn’t holding back this time. If he had only used half his strength earlier, now he was going all in.
He figured this opponent must be strong—why else would Wang Haoran send him alone?
But even so, Lin Mo didn’t think much of it. With the strength he had now, even if this guy was a boxing champion, he didn’t believe he’d lose.
His confidence surged as he lunged forward, fist raised, ready to strike.
Yet in the blink of an eye, the masked man shifted slightly, allowing Lin Mo to pass by harmlessly.
Before Lin Mo could react, a sharp pain struck his neck. His vision blurred, and the strength drained from his limbs as he collapsed to the ground.
The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was the masked man standing over him. His eyes widened with disbelief and confusion. The masked man’s power was beyond anything he could have imagined.
Not even a world-class boxer could move like that. What the hell was this guy?
Once Lin Mo went completely limp, the masked man calmly retrieved a gleaming surgical scalpel from his coat pocket.
【Ding! Due to the host’s manipulation, Lin Mo has been physically castrated and has permanently lost his manhood. Villain Points +2000. Lin Mo’s Protagonist Halo -100. Host’s Villain Halo +100!】
Wang Haoran received the system notification and grinned in satisfaction.
With this final move—clean, physical, and absolute—he felt truly at ease. Lin Mo’s Super Teacher System might be powerful, but surely even it couldn’t regenerate severed limbs. That sort of thing belonged in the realm of cultivation fantasy.
Even someone like Lu Chen, with his ancient medical knowledge, couldn’t pull off that kind of miracle. Lin Mo had no chance.
“Why are you staring off like that?” a soft, bashful voice murmured beside him.
Wang Haoran snapped out of his thoughts and turned to see Yang Jingwan gazing up at him, her eyes shimmering with affection, her tone filled with subtle invitation.
Meanwhile, in a girls’ dormitory at the Normal University…
Gu Yurou lay in bed, tossing and turning. No matter how she tried, she couldn’t fall asleep. Her mind kept replaying the image of a certain man.
She tried to push him away, repeatedly telling herself that he had mistreated her, that she had no reason to keep thinking about him. But it was no use.
The more she tried to forget, the clearer and more vivid his image became in her mind.
Eventually, Gu Yurou gave up on sleep altogether. She sat up, opened her laptop, and began writing a screenplay.
She had always loved writing and had chosen literature as her major in college. Scriptwriting had been a passion of hers for years.
Only when she was fully immersed in her creative world could she escape the troubles of real life.
Time slipped by unnoticed as inspiration poured from her fingers. Within a few hours, she had finished the ending of her current film script.
Without hesitation, she submitted it to the inbox of a well-known screenwriter named Lu Xinyi.
The last time she submitted her work to Beige Entertainment, she was lured in by promises of high pay, only to nearly suffer a great loss.
That experience had been a hard lesson. She no longer believed her writing was anything extraordinary.
This time, she wasn’t hoping for a sale—just a bit of feedback. Maybe some advice, if she was lucky.
After sending the script, exhaustion overwhelmed her. She collapsed onto the bed and finally drifted off, her mind too tired to wander any further.
By early morning, gentle sunlight bathed a tranquil residential community.
This was a neighborhood known as Writers’ Village, home to authors, screenwriters, and other professionals who lived off the written word—both online and traditional.
Yang Jingwan had left her previous job in sales to become a full-time writer and had since risen to stardom in the female-oriented fiction world. She had recently moved here for a quieter writing environment.
But peace and quiet weren’t the only reasons.
What mattered most to her was location—this community was just fifteen minutes from Qingling University by car.
She had only moved in yesterday and had already eagerly called Wang Haoran to share the news.
Naturally, upon receiving her call, Wang Haoran paid her a visit.
