Huo Liran bit her lower lip, her gaze fixed on the Crown Prince of Xi Yan and Sang Zhi. ’They’re so handsome and noble. How is Ye Qianning worthy of standing beside them?’

"Let’s go. Pack your things so we can send Second Uncle’s body back to Qingzhou sooner."

"I won’t." Huo Liran struggled, trying to break free.

Huo Feng gripped her arm and refused to let go. "Haven’t you caused enough of a scene?"

"I’m not leaving! Why does she get to stand next to such exceptional men? Why?! She’s so ugly! How is she worthy? How?!"

"What nonsense are you spouting?"

"I’m not! She’s hideous! I’m a thousand times better than her. If even *she* can stand beside them, why can’t I...?"

Huo Feng trembled with rage at her tirade. "Stop this madness and come back with me."

"I won’t go! I won’t! Ye Qianning should just die! Why does she get to...?" Huo Liran’s eyes were red with jealousy.

Huo Feng clapped a hand over her mouth and began dragging her out of the crowd.

"Oh my, which distinguished guests are these?"

"Hiss... that’s quite an entourage."

"We’d better make way. We don’t want to offend anyone important."

Having witnessed the earlier shocking spectacle, the crowd knew what to do. Seeing a group of men in sharp, martial attire approaching in two columns, they quickly cleared a path.

Twenty men in martial attire, each holding a brocade box, advanced slowly in two columns.

Old Prince Feng, though suppressing his anger, couldn’t help but glance over. A flicker of hope sparked within him—perhaps they were here to present him with birthday gifts. But his hopes were brutally dashed the very next second.

The twenty men formed two lines flanking the entrance of the Immortal Sea Building and opened the brocade boxes in their hands.

The contents of the boxes were revealed to the crowd. It was a dazzling, priceless collection; every single item was worth a fortune.

There were peerlessly beautiful glazed wares, antiques carved from the finest jade, and porcelain vases of indescribable beauty. Connoisseurs could tell with a single glance that their luster and glaze were absolutely flawless.

Their shapes, in particular, were unlike anything seen before, captivating all who laid eyes on them.

There were ten-thousand-year-old lingzhi mushrooms and ginseng roots, each larger than the one East Shu had given Old Prince Feng. And there were several of them! But the most eye-catching of all was the Seven-color Glazed Cup.

The massive cup was crafted from a dazzling glazed material that emitted a soft glow in the sunlight. A sphere atop the cup spun continuously, casting a rainbow of reflected light across the faces of the onlookers.

Old Prince Feng was captivated at first sight, his heart filled with shock and envy.

He glanced back at the gift from Beili—a piece no bigger than his fist. It paled completely in comparison to this gigantic, exquisitely beautiful, and unique masterpiece.

Li Mu and Wang Li were dumbfounded. The birthday gifts they had painstakingly acquired at great expense weren’t worth a fraction of what lay before them. ’Who could possibly be so extravagant?’

Xiliu Yuan’s gaze fell upon the porcelain and glazed items, and he paused, a hint of surprise appearing in his normally impassive eyes.

Judging by the colors, carvings, and overall appearance, they didn’t seem to originate from any of the Four Kingdoms. The designs were unique, and the craftsmanship was exceptionally masterful.

Elder Chen had seen his share of priceless treasures, but even he couldn’t hide his shock at the current display. A suspicion began to form in his mind, and his eyes started searching through the crowd.

Xiang Minghou, Qian Fanji, Gu Shuo, and Zhan Chi seemed to have reached the same conclusion, their gazes turning toward the back of the crowd.

A lone figure entered their line of sight. When they saw her face, they all froze.

Elder Chen’s gaze swept past the figure, then snapped back, his eyes narrowing as if trying to get a clearer look.
