"Hmm, I really have no idea which talent I should copy next."

Mo Yuan sat cross-legged in his cultivation chamber, a frown appearing on his face.

His Copy and Paste cooldown would end tomorrow, giving him another chance to acquire a powerful talent. However, with so many possibilities available, choosing the right one was not easy.

"Should I look for talents related to Space or Time?"

His eyes lit up at the thought but he soon shook his head.

"Where am I supposed to find them?"

Space and Time talents were extremely rare. Even among powerful beasts and human cultivators, finding someone with such an ability was not easy. He could not simply wander around and expect to encounter one.

After thinking for a while, Mo Yuan came up with an idea.

"Perhaps I should ask Bai Chuan. As the person in charge of the Beast Association in Cang Lan Base, he should have information about powerful beasts and their talents."

He nodded to himself.

Besides, there was another reason for visiting Bai Chuan. His daughter, Bai Ningning, possessed an Ultimate Grade Beast Tamer Talent. Although it was not a talent directly related to combat, it could still prove useful in certain situations.

With his current strength, Mo Yuan did not need every talent to increase his fighting power. Some talents could provide advantages that raw strength alone could not replace.

"I should visit him tomorrow and see what he knows."

"Before that, I should visit David and ask him about movement techniques."

A few minutes later, David walked out of the building and approached him. He seemed to be in a hurry, as if he had been preparing to leave.

"You came at the right time, Mo Yuan. I was just about to head to the Cang Wilderness."

Mo Yuan raised an eyebrow.

"The Cang Wilderness?"

David nodded.

"A newly discovered gate has been reported there. I’m going to investigate it personally."

However, before he could say anything more, David suddenly stopped.

His eyes widened as he carefully examined Mo Yuan’s aura.

"Wait a minute! You’ve reached the Late Origin Lord Realm?"

David stared at him as if he had seen a ghost.

He clearly remembered that Mo Yuan had been at Peak stage of Origin Soul realm the last time they met. Yet in such a short period, he had already advanced to the Late Origin Lord Realm.

Even among the greatest geniuses of humanity, this speed of cultivation was astonishing.

Mo Yuan scratched the back of his head and gave an awkward smile.

"Ah, I was just lucky."

David stared at him for another moment before shaking his head helplessly.

Still, David did not dwell on the matter for long. The newly discovered gate was more important.

"Senior, didn’t you say that no new gates had appeared for ten years?"

David nodded.

"That’s right but this gate is a little different. According to the information we have gathered, it has probably existed for many years. Nobody discovered it until now and no beasts have ever emerged from it."

Mo Yuan looked surprised.

"A gate that has existed for years without releasing any beasts?"

"Exactly. The only reason we found it was because a Monarch Realm cultivator discovered it while carrying out a mission."

David paused briefly before continuing.

"She’s the same person who negotiated the peace agreement with the Flood Dragon."

Mo Yuan’s expression changed slightly.

He immediately remembered the blonde girl with blue eyes and the white cat resting on her shoulder.

Belly and Molly.

Mo Yuan could not help asking, "Senior, what’s her name?"

David smiled.

"Her name is Belly. She’s one of humanity’s greatest geniuses. She’s already reached the Monarch Realm at just twenty years old. I only learned her age after making some inquiries because she looked so young."

David still remembered how she had appeared behind the Flood Dragon without being detected. Even the powerful Monarch Realm beast had been unable to move under her pressure.

Mo Yuan fell silent.

’So it really was her! Belly is already a Monarch Realm cultivator at twenty?’

He had suspected that she was extraordinary but he had not expected her to be so powerful.

Then another question entered his mind.

’But why couldn’t I inspect her talents? And what about Molly? I couldn’t see Belly’s talents because they were sealed and Molly’s talents didn’t appear either.’

He remembered how his abilities had failed to reveal useful information about either of them.

’Is she protagonists or something?’

Mo Yuan shook his head inwardly.

’Forget it. I’ll think about this later. I’ll eventually visit the Holy Base anyway. When I meet her again, I can ask a few questions.’

For now, the newly discovered gate was far more interesting.

He looked at David and asked, "Senior, can I come with you? I’ve never seen a gate before and I want to take a look."

Soon, the towering walls of Cang Lan Base disappeared behind them and the vast wilderness stretched out before their eyes.
