Chapter 202: Ch 202- Testing New Strength

Mo Yuan clenched his fists, feeling the immense power hidden within his small body. After acquiring the Shadowspawn Bloodline and upgrading his Blood Saber Intent, he could hardly wait to find out how much stronger he had become.

"First, let’s check my strength!"

His voice was filled with anticipation.

’My base strength is 81 million jin. With my Strength Talent, Boundless Saber Art, Blood Saber Intent, Primordial Qi and Shadow Blessing...’

Mo Yuan quickly began calculating the total multiplier.

81 million jin × 25 × 27 × 4 × 2 × 2!

His eyes widened as the final number appeared in his mind.

874.8 billion jin!

Mo Yuan’s breathing grew heavier.

"Almost 875 billion jin!"

He stared at his fists, finding it hard to believe that he could now unleash such terrifying strength.

Just a short while ago, his maximum strength had been far lower. Now, after his transformation, his strength had increased several times over but after calming down a little, he began comparing himself with Sovereign Realm cultivators.

’An ordinary Peak Sovereign Realm cultivator has a base strength of around 10 billion jin. With a threefold Primordial Qi boost and a technique that provides another threefold multiplier, their strength would reach 90 billion jin.’

He paused and continued thinking.

’Of course, a true genius would be different. Someone with a Peak Grade Strength Talent could receive a tenfold boost. If they also had a powerful technique, their total strength could reach around 900 billion jin or even 1.5 trillion if their technique provided a fivefold multiplier.’

Mo Yuan’s expression became serious as he considered this.

His current strength was incredible but it did not mean that he could defeat a genius Sovereign Realm cultivator.

Still, he had enough power to fight against those extraordinary geniuses, as strength was not the only thing. He had insane speed and shadow walk , he had regeneration and many other talents.

He couldn’t say he was invincible in the sovereign realm but he could now take care of 99% of them as for the 1% went to those with special talents.

"Heh. As for those without a strength-related talent, I might even be able to defeat them with a single strike!"

Mo Yuan could not help smiling at the thought.

He had always relied on his ability to copy talents and combine their effects. Now, his efforts were finally showing results.

However, when he thought about the Monarch Realm, his smile faded slightly.

’What about Monarch Realm cultivators?’

He pondered the question for a moment before shaking his head.

"Forget it. That’s still too far away."

There was no point worrying about opponents he could not properly measure yet. For now, he needed to understand his current abilities.

"Next, let’s check my speed!"

Speed had always been one of Mo Yuan’s greatest advantages. Even before his latest transformation, his speed was already far beyond what most cultivators could imagine but now, he had acquired Shadow Blessing.

More importantly, he was currently inside the Shadow Realm, where the talent’s effects could be fully utilized.

’My Shadow Walk Talent provides a twofold speed boost in the Shadow Realm. Shadow Blessing also gives me a twofold boost to my speed. Can I stack both of them?’

Mo Yuan’s eyes lit up.

He immediately activated his Ultimate Grade Speed Talent. A powerful feeling surged through his body as his speed increased twentyfold.

Next, he activated Shadow Walk.

His connection with the Shadow Realm deepened and he felt his speed increase once again.

Finally, he activated Shadow Blessing.

A strange power flowed through his body and the three abilities seemed to work together without any conflict.

"It works!"

Mo Yuan nearly jumped in excitement.

His base speed was 76 Mach. With his Ultimate Speed Talent, Shadow Walk and Shadow Blessing, the calculation became simple.

76 × 20 × 2 × 2.

6080 Mach in the Shadow Realm!

And in the outside world, where Shadow walk did not work, his speed would remain at 3040 Mach with Ultimate Speed and Shadow Blessing.

Mo Yuan took a deep breath.

"Just how fast am I now?"

For comparison, a Peak Sovereign Realm cultivator could reach a speed of 100 Mach. Yet Mo Yuan had surpassed that limit many times over.

He could hardly imagine how helpless an ordinary enemy would feel when facing him.

’Suppose I hide inside the Shadow Realm, approach an enemy without being detected, and launch a surprise attack at 3,040 Mach. If I combine that speed with my current strength...’

Mo Yuan’s excitement rose again.

’Who could possibly react in time?’

He took several deep breaths, forcing himself to calm down.

’Steady. I need to stay calm.’

He was only a one-star Shadowspawn. If his star rank increased in the future, his Shadow Blessing might become even stronger. He might also unlock additional abilities.

The possibilities were almost endless.

"Now, let’s check my Origin Sense."

Mo Yuan focused on his next test.

His base Origin Sense had reached 7,843 meters. With his Ultimate Grade Illusion Talent and its twentyfold multiplier, followed by the twofold boost from Shadow Blessing, the calculation was:

7,843 × 20 × 2.

313,720 meters!

Almost 314 kilometers!

Mo Yuan immediately released his Origin Sense.

In the next instant, everything within a radius of nearly 314 kilometers appeared clearly in his mind. The barren wasteland, the distant terrain and every small detail within his range were revealed to him.

He could sense an enormous area without moving a single step.

"This is incredible!"

After checking his strength, speed and Origin Sense, Mo Yuan finally felt satisfied but there was still one thing he wanted to try.

His speed.

"Let’s see how fast I can really move!"

Mo Yuan closed his eyes, focused his speed and suddenly shot forward.

With a flash, he had already traveled an astonishing distance.

"So fast!"

He had barely noticed himself moving.

Mo Yuan immediately tried again. He dashed across the barren land, stopped and changed direction. Then he accelerated once more, enjoying the incredible sensation of moving at such speed.

He repeated this again and again, gradually becoming more familiar with his new limits.

He also looked outside the earth and saw he was in some forest, he then ignored it and kept running in the shadow realm.

After nearly thirty minutes, he finally began to feel tired.

Although his new abilities were powerful, maintaining such high speeds still consumed energy.

Mo Yuan returned to his original location and stretched his arms.

"What a nice way to enjoy myself!"

After playing around with his speed, he finally thought to check his strength too.

A faint smirk appeared on his featureless black face.

In the outside world, he could not unleash his full strength without risking massive destruction. Even a single careless strike could cause unimaginable damage but the Shadow Realm was different.

This barren land was the perfect place to test his power.

Mo Yuan took a deep breath and slowly calmed his excitement.

His pitch-black body stood motionless in the endless darkness.

Then, he summoned his Blood Saber Intent.

Crimson energy gathered before him, gradually forming a blood-red saber. Its blade gave off a terrifying aura and the surrounding darkness seemed to tremble beneath its presence.

Mo Yuan reached out and grasped the hilt.

"There’s no need to use an ordinary saber anymore. My Blood Saber Intent is enough."

He activated all his talents, allowing their power to flow through his body. Strength, speed, Primordial Qi and the upgraded Blood Saber Intent combined with Shadow Blessing, filling him with terrifying energy.

Mo Yuan looked toward the empty land ahead.

For a moment, he simply stood there, imagining what would happen when he unleashed his full strength.

Even he could not accurately predict the result.

He took another deep breath, then activated Boundless Saber Art.

The energy within his body surged, gathering toward the blood-red saber in his hand.

"Here we go!"

Mo Yuan swung his saber forward.

A streak of crimson light flashed across the endless darkness, shooting toward the distant horizon.
