Two minutes before the Golden Mouse reached Mo Yuan’s location, it was already getting excited.

The bright light it had sensed was becoming stronger and stronger. It was certain that the treasure was nearby.

Soon, it reached the location.

However, when it came out of the trees, it suddenly stopped.

A human was standing there.

The Golden Mouse looked at Mo Yuan with curiosity. It was the first time it had ever seen a human in person. It had spent almost its entire life inside the secret realm, so it had only learned about humans through some old records.

According to those records, humans were a strange race. Most of them were weak but some extremely powerful geniuses could fight opponents far above their cultivation realm.

The Golden Mouse was not worried, though.

The aura coming from Mo Yuan was only at the Origin Soul Realm.

To a Peak Realm beast like itself, that was nothing.

With this thought, the little mouse puffed out its chest and shouted arrogantly.

"You puny human!"

"Give me the treasure!"

On the other side, Mo Yuan was completely confused.

’What treasure?’

He looked around.

There was nothing around him except trees and dirt.

"What treasure are you talking about?"

While speaking, Mo Yuan quietly activated his Copy and Paste Talent and the information about the little beast immediately appeared in his mind.

And now, a treasure-finding beast had delivered itself right to his doorstep.

Mo Yuan almost wanted to laugh.

The Golden Mouse, however, misunderstood his reaction.

When it heard Mo Yuan deny having the treasure, anger immediately appeared in its eyes.

"You liar!"

The Golden Mouse pointed at Mo Yuan with its tiny paw.

"The records clearly say humans are the most cunning race! Don’t think you can fool this king!"

"Give me the treasure or else..."

It paused dramatically.

Mo Yuan stared at the little mouse for a moment.

’What treasure is this guy even talking about?’

He really had no idea what treasure this mouse was talking about.

’Could it be talking about me?’

Mo Yuan’s expression became strange.

He had no interest in wasting time arguing with a mouse.

A smile slowly appeared on his face.

"Oh? So you want my treasure?"

The Golden Mouse’s eyes immediately brightened.

"Yes! Give it to me!"

"Sure."

Mo Yuan raised his hand.

The Golden Mouse’s expression changed.

Something was wrong and before it could react, Mo Yuan swung his hand.

A red streak suddenly flashed through the forest.

It was so fast that the Golden Mouse could barely see it.

Mo Yuan had used only a small amount of his Blood Saber Intent but even that was more than enough.

The Golden Mouse’s pupils shrank.

’Danger!’

Its entire body became cold and it instinctively tried to dodge but it was too late.

The red light passed dangerously close to its body and went over its shoulder before crashing into the ground behind it.

BOOM!

A terrifying explosion erupted and the ground shook violently.

The Golden Mouse was thrown several meters away and rolled across the ground before finally stopping.

It quickly turned its head

Behind it, a huge canyon had appeared.

The forest that had once stood there was completely destroyed. Trees had been cut apart, the ground had been torn open and a massive amount of soil had been blasted away.

The destruction stretched far into the distance and the whole ecosystem was destroyed.

The Golden Mouse’s body trembled.

’What... what was that?’

It had only sensed a small part of Mo Yuan’s attack, yet the result had nearly frightened its soul out of its body.

It suddenly remembered the old records.

Humans had many ordinary cultivators but among them were monsters called geniuses.

’I’m finished!’

The Golden Mouse immediately turned around and rushed back toward Mo Yuan.

It did not attack.

Instead, it dropped to the ground and started begging.

"Please forgive this humble one!"

Its tiny body trembled as it clasped its paws together.

"I have two children waiting for me at home!"

"And my mother is old and widowed!"

Mo Yuan stared at the mouse in silence.

The Golden Mouse continued shaking its paws desperately.

"This humble one was blind and offended senior! Please spare my life!"

Mo Yuan could not help but look at the little creature strangely.

Seeing that Mo Yuan still wasn’t saying anything, the Golden Mouse became even more frightened. Its little body trembled as it looked at the human in front of it.

"Senior, please let this little one go. I made a mistake. I didn’t know the treasure belonged to you. I hope Senior won’t blame me."

"Okay, okay, enough," Mo Yuan said helplessly.

He was starting to get tired of listening to the mouse beg for its life.

Hearing that Mo Yuan had no intention of killing it, the Golden Mouse finally let out a sigh of relief. It quickly lowered its head, afraid that saying the wrong thing might make this terrifying human change his mind.

"Did I say you could leave?"

The Golden Mouse quickly nodded.

"Yes, Senior. This little one has lived here for many years. Although I am not very strong, I know quite a lot about this place."

A smile appeared on Mo Yuan’s face.

"Then tell me everything you know."

The Golden Mouse’s eyes flickered.

"If Senior wants treasures, I can also tell you where some of them are. There are many places in this secret realm that contain treasures. I know quite a few of them."

"Now you’re talking about something useful."

Mo Yuan nodded with satisfaction.

He had originally planned to explore the secret realm himself but having someone who already knew the place was much easier.
