Chapter 754: Chapter 401: Going According to Plan (Part 2)

Additionally, some planets were leased by major commerce associations.

Many of the major commerce associations from the outside seemed less conspicuous here. The Four Beasts Commerce Association, for example, merely shared a single planet with tens of thousands of other associations.

Only a true titan among them could occupy an entire planet alone—the Spirit Race Commerce Association, for instance!

As the name suggested, the backing for this association was none other than the Spirit Race, a Dominator Race.

There were only six commerce associations in the entire universe on the same scale as the Spirit Race Commerce Association.

Five of them were founded by the five great Dominator Races. The sole exception was the Alliance Commerce Association, which was established through a collaboration of more than half of all first-rate races.

In order to stand against the Dominator Races and avoid being devoured by them, the first-rate races had no choice but to band together for survival. This was their way.

With their vast territories and massive populations, the first-rate races couldn’t simply hide away like smaller races. They had to face the threat of the Dominator Races head-on, which led to the birth of the Cosmic Alliance.

The power behind the Alliance Commerce Association was, of course, the Cosmic Alliance.

Since Su Ze had come to the Public Star Realm to auction a Bloodline Divine Artifact, his first thought was to cooperate with the Alliance Commerce Association.

But that wasn’t urgent; it could wait. For now, he had to take care of the tasks at hand.

The members of the Starry Sky Guard Team split up, using the Teleportation Array to travel to different planets.

Su Ze’s mission for them was to go to different planets and separately fence the stolen goods.

Many of them went to a planet designated for street stalls. Selling the resources via retail would certainly fetch a better price than selling directly to the shops.

The massive amount of loot they had was like a drop in the ocean when introduced to the vast market of the Public Star Realm. It was utterly insignificant and wouldn’t attract any attention.

This even applied to the large number of plundered secondhand starships. There was a planet here dedicated to the sale, recycling, and repair of starships. Lin Hua and Old Waller disguised themselves as specialized secondhand dealers and went there to sell off the fleet.

There was no telling how many other secondhand starship dealers like them were on that planet; they didn’t stand out in the slightest.

The slaves, however, were the most sensitive issue. Su Ze assigned that job to his avatar.

Su Ze’s main body, along with the Pope, headed straight for a materials planet to find suitable upgrade materials.

Su Ze’s goal was to upgrade his “Sponge Body” and “Knowledge is Power” skills to the eighth rank, as well as get the Pope’s “Blood and Flesh Parasite” skill to the eighth rank.

Upgrading the “Sponge Body” and “Blood and Flesh Parasite” skills was the higher priority.

Meanwhile, Su Ze’s avatar took the Moon God-level slaves. Since the avatar couldn’t stray too far from the main body, it had also come along to the materials planet.

There were no planets within the Public Star Realm designated specifically for slave trading, but such transactions could happen almost anywhere.

Slaves were, in fact, a kind of “hard currency” in the universe. Even on the materials planet they had just arrived on, there were plenty of merchants selling prisoners of war.

After all, in this universe, an intelligent lifeform that had already achieved godhood was, in itself, a type of “material.”

They could not only be used for servitude but also be killed outright to plunder their Origin Gene.

Su Ze and his group stepped onto the Teleportation Array, which could transport over a thousand people at once. There were five or six hundred others in their group for this trip.

With a flicker of light and a ripple of spatial energy, Su Ze and the others arrived on a materials planet.

He looked up at the sun hanging in the sky—infinitely distant, yet blindingly brilliant—and a pang of envy struck his heart.

It was a Super Star!

This single Super Star provided light for all one thousand planets in the commercial district.

However, no one except the Spirit Race themselves was allowed to approach it to harvest its light energy.

Seeing this Super Star, Su Ze’s desire for a Super Star for Zexing grew even more intense.

Su Ze’s avatar kept its distance from his main body, pretending they were strangers. It then began approaching several merchants to negotiate the price of the slaves.

After shopping around, he sold all the Moon God-level slaves.

Moon God-level slaves were quite sought-after in the universe.

However, selling this batch of slaves would inevitably link his avatar to the Starry Sky Guard Team. Fortunately, the team was only known in a few Star Realms; basically, no one had heard of them in the Spirit Race Public Star Realm.

Even if someone had, a small, bandit-hunting squad whose strongest member was only at the Moon God level wouldn’t attract the attention of any major figures.

After receiving the money, the avatar naturally needed to find a way to get it to Su Ze’s main body. To be cautious, Su Ze avoided direct contact, instead having the avatar pretend to be aimlessly browsing.

Meanwhile, Dou Yi took the two Bloodline Divine Artifacts and began making inquiries about Giant Spatial Artifacts and ninth-rank exotic beast corpses.

In short, any dangerous task that might attract unwanted attention was given to Dou Yi.

Su Ze was already prepared to sacrifice Dou Yi.

Under the pretext of seeking to purchase a Giant Spatial Artifact and a living ninth-rank exotic beast, Dou Yi would make contact with the major commerce associations and vet them for a trustworthy partner.

After entering the core commercial district, the members of the Starry Sky Guard Team all went about their respective tasks.

…

On this materials planet, Su Ze found no suitable upgrade materials for himself, nor any that could be used for the “Blood and Flesh Parasite” skill.
