However, there was no telling how many such hidden Human Race planets existed in the universe. The value of a single human planet might be enough to earn the Nian Race’s attention, but it wasn’t enough to drive them into a frenzy.

Otherwise, they would have sent more than just three Sun Gods; the Nian Race’s Ancestral God would have likely mobilized.

Su Ze also finally understood why Li Fayi had advanced to the Legendary realm in just over two years. By his calculations, even with the resources he had left behind, Li Fayi, Gu Chengguang, and the others should still only be Venerable Powerhouses at this point.

It turned out the Nian Race had brought vast resources and forced all of Blue Star’s Saint-level powerhouses to absorb them, all to quickly cultivate a batch of God-level experts.

After they became gods, the Nian Race took them away. Their whereabouts are still unknown. If Chen Suifeng hadn’t made preparations in advance and hidden in the Inheritance Space, he likely would have met the same fate.

"As expected, the original group of Venerable Powerhouses will be the next to become gods, and they’ll be harvested by the Nian Race all the same. The group after that would have been me, Mr. Gu, and the others. We were under constant surveillance. It was Mr. Gu and the others who created an opportunity, and with Chen Suifeng’s help, I was able to escape and reach Zexing through the Teleportation Array."

Su Ze’s expression grew heavy. Under the Nian Race’s resource-heavy cultivation, Chen Suifeng and the other two sovereigns would naturally be the first to ascend to godhood. Fortunately, Chen Suifeng had escaped; otherwise, he would have likely already been harvested by the Nian Race.

Now that they had a taste of the benefits, the Nian Race would surely place even greater importance on the Blue Star Human Race.

"Why didn’t Chen Suifeng come here?" Su Ze asked. "There’s not much point in him staying on Blue Star anymore."

"I tried to persuade him too," Li Fayi said with a bitter smile. "But he refused to come with me. He said if he fled, he’d be too ashamed to face Mr. Ke in the afterlife."

"That whole bunch is like that, and Mr. Gu is no different. They know there’s little point in staying, but they can’t let go of their responsibility... Dammit, it makes me look like the coward!"

Li Fayi started swearing under his breath. The chance to escape had been a rare one. He had originally wanted Gu Chengguang to leave, but at the last second, Gu Chengguang refused to go, insisting on giving the opportunity to him.

So as not to waste the chance everyone had risked their lives to create, Li Fayi had no choice but to make a hasty escape.

Both Gu Chengguang and Chen Suifeng had told him to teleport to Zexing and ask Su Ze for aid, but Li Fayi knew they were only saying that to make it easier for him to accept his role.

Zexing was in a remote corner of the universe where many resources were difficult to find. It would be easier to come across them in the more prosperous regions of the cosmos.
