Ning Yushen and Li Fayi quickly followed suit, declaring that they would also stay behind.

Only Zhou Wenshan stated frankly, "I’m the oldest and have limited potential. If I stay, I won’t be of much help in the future. I’ll go with you to Zexing. I can still lend a hand with its initial development."

Su Ze nodded. Zhou Wenshan had a point.

On Blue Star, the most Zhou Wenshan could hope for was one more evolution, reaching the Venerable-level. That would be his absolute limit. After that, he could only remain on Blue Star and wait to die.

But on Zexing, the initial development would require considerable effort, and Su Ze needed trustworthy people to help him. Zhou Wenshan was an excellent choice.

Su Ze told Gu Chengguang and the other two who chose to stay about the location of the external transfer points, urging them to use one to teleport to Zexing if they ever found themselves in danger.

However, the transfer points could only be used by those at the Legendary level, so Gu Chengguang and the others would have to reach that rank first.

Su Ze had previously given Gu Chengguang and the others several Bloodline Crystals, which were enough for them to quickly ascend to the Venerable level.

To find the Pope, other members of the Nian Race might be able to provide useful information.

And as it happened, Su Ze had dozens of powerful individuals suspected of being Nian Race members imprisoned aboard the Magic Cube. This was a promising lead.

He obtained a detailed list of everyone who had ever entered the Divine Dice trials and made it to the end. All of them were potential victims of possession by a Nian Race Divine Spirit.

Conversely, anyone not on this list could likely be ruled out as a member of the Nian Race.

Of course, this didn’t absolve them of the suspicion of being "race traitors."

In a way, "race traitors" were even more detestable than the enemy.
