Chapter 87 - Take It Off
After Ligma Bawles was swiped off the windscreen by the wiper, he rolled off the hood and fell to the ground.
Five deep finger imprints could be seen on each side of the hood while the center was deformed like it had struck a sturdy stone pillar.
"Ughk... This doesn't look too bad... A mechanic might be able to fix this overnight..." Albion inspected the damage with a few pats.
Creak... thud.
The bumper quickly fell off, along with several other small parts that may or may not be important.
They were barely hanging on like they were hanging onto their dear life. A few taps were all it took for them to buckle like a man unbuckling his belt to breathe after gaining a big food baby from a feast.
"..."
The last shred of patience Albion had was immediately lost.
"Are you out of your damn mind, Old Man?! Who the hell jumps in front of a speeding car?!" Albion quickly roared at the old man.
Ligma Bawles spat out a few broken teeth before he barked back with a darkened expression, "You're the one that ran into me! Why don't you watch where you're driving, you darn brat!"
He was not as fine as he looks. His bones were shattered and most likely bleeding internally from damaged organs!
"Kek..." Albion sniggered coldly, "As I thought. Damn, porcelain bumpers these days are so outrageous! With your skills and strength, why don't you go make some earnest money or something! Why be a porcelain bumper and scam people with expensive cars, huh?!"
"P-Porcelain bumper?!" Ligma Bawles trembled with anger before he pointed his finger at Albion, "Who are you calling a porcelain bumper?!"
"If not you, then who else?!"
"Ptui!" Ligma spat before he angrily roared, "You're the porcelain bumper! Your whole family are porcelain bumpers!"
The agitation aggravated his wounds, causing Ligma Bawles to spray an arrow of blood from his mouth.
Albion was immediately taken aback before he muttered, "I've read numerous stories, but I didn't think it was actually possible for people to puke blood due to anger..."
"Motherf*cker, you just hit someone with a supercar! Do you think this Old Man will be okay?! I'm not puking blood because of anger! But I might as well be at this point!"
Ligma Bawles was almost angered to death by Albion.
"This Old Man has never been hurt so badly in all my years of mingling in the underworld! You should be honored, brat! Now die for me!"
"Hmm?" Albion frowned at the Old Man suddenly lunging at him with his claws.
He quickly raised his hand and...
Pak!
Ligma Bawles was swatted into the ground with a single slap. His ears rang, and his vision spun from dizziness.
Sometime later, he recovered before gazing back at Albion with shock, "Who are you?! You're no ordinary kid!"
"Oh? And you're no ordinary... porcelain bumper! I'm the person who is going to rob—" Albion saw Captain Wudi's familiar figure approaching from the corners of his eyes before he said, "Hurry up and pay for my car's damages! You owe me 5 million dollars!"
"That car isn't even worth that much money! Are you trying to rob this Old Man?!" Ligma Bawles's eyes almost popped out of these sockets in shock.
Just who was this person?!
At the same time, Cao Wudi never felt more relieved to see Albion again. His life was saved.
"Young Master, we meet—"
Beep—!
A large bus suddenly honked while Cao Wudi was crossing the road with pleasant surprise before...
Bam!
Cao Wudi was struck by the bus and disappeared from the corners of Albion's eyes.
Seeing that Captain Wudi had disappeared from his sight, Albion shrugged before he continued to shake Ligma Bawles, "Yes, I am robbing you! What are you going to do about it?! Not only are you paying for my car damages, but you are also paying for my psychological damages!"
"You're crazy!" Ligma Bawles spat angrily.
"Thanks to you!"
Meanwhile, Branch Leader Johnson and Secretary Jane were stunned by everything that unfolded.
Cao Wudi had turned into a minor figure. The longer Branch Leader Johnson stared at Albion, the brighter his eyes became.
This young man was extraordinary! The infamous Wolf King is utterly helpless before this person's strength!
'I must recruit this young man before any other branches take him!' Branch Leader Johnson decisively thought before approaching the person.
Seeing a towering shadow of a huge burly man with a hairy chest suddenly cast over him, Albion glanced over with a frown, "Can I help you?"
"Yes, I want you!" Branch Leader Johnson stated brightly with excitement
"Nani?" Color was quickly drained from Albion's face as he stared at this unknown burly man's feverish gaze. His rear clenched on reflex.
Albion quickly released his grip on Ligma Bawles's collar before retreating some distance from Branch Leader Johnson.
"Who are you? Do I know you? You better stay the f*ck away from me!" Albion pointed at the person with a warning tone.
Branch Leader Johnson nearly choked on his words before he realized his words may have caused some misunderstanding.
"Ahem, I… no, this… you are mistaken…" Branch Leader Johnson was at a loss for words. It was the first time he came across such a terrible situation.
"I will do the explaining, Branch Leader." Secretary Jane stated.
Shortly after, she turned to Albion and formally apologized, "Sorry about the confusion. This person is the branch leader of Silvercove's Hunter Association, Harry Johnson. And he wanted to r—"
"He wanted to what? R*pe me? I know the crime rates are high in this city but isn't this too blatant? I don't want no Harry Johnson up my brick maker. Ma'am, you look like a sensible person. How about you take this gorilla away and lock him up somewhere before someone gets harmed?"
After Albion spoke, Branch Leader Johnson's forehead protruded with veins as his face flushed and nearly failed to control his temper.
"Ahem, as I was saying, Branch Leader Johnson just wants to recruit you—" Secretary Jane wanted to explain but got interrupted by Albion.
"Do you smell gasoline?" Albion's nose suddenly twitched.
Branch Leader Johnson's expression abruptly changed before he quickly pulled Secretary Jane behind him.
Boom!
The leaking supercar exploded!
Waves of flames burst outwards and swept against Albion's back. However, he stood still and stably like a mountain, frozen in shock.
Despite knowing the answer, Albion asked after a brief moment of silence, "That was my car, wasn't it?"
"Yes!—No, more importantly, are you alright?!" Branch Leader Johnson asked in shock. This person just tanked a direct explosion!
"Yeah… No problem—Hm, just a moment, please." Albion suddenly requested before he made his way over to the unconscious man on the ground with froth in his mouth while facing Branch Leader Johnson warily.
His entire backside was exposed.
Pak! Pak! Pak!
"Wake up!" Albion slapped the old man's cheeks left and right.
It did not take long before Ligma Bawles recovered his consciousness with alarm and helplessness, "Ughk—! What do you want from this poor Old Man, you fiend!"
"Your clothes, take it off," Albion stated indifferently.
"!?"
