Chapter 365 - 321: Verne’s Monsters Land at Kosai Port

Artillery fire and bullets wove a web of death across the magnificent port defenses.

Over one hundred thousand private soldiers of the Judgment Court were scattered throughout every corner of Kosai Port, fighting with all their might to delay the enemy’s takeover.

If the port fell, the enemy could use it to deploy troops to the surface on a massive scale.

Even knowing they had no chance of winning the battle for Kosai Port, these private soldiers of the Judgment Court still unleashed astonishing combat prowess, fighting to the death without retreat.

As the officer’s corpse hit the ground, his eyes wide in death, two more Imperial Knights in the same blood-red Anti-Magic Steel Armor charged through the breach. Though the defending soldiers fought with all their might, the chasm in power was too great to be overcome with their standard-issue firearms.

In just one minute, the deep defense line, manned by a hundred soldiers, was brutally massacred. There were no survivors.

The last surviving soldier, clinging to his final breath, lay on his back in a pool of blood. The once-dense roar of gunfire had faded to sporadic pops.

He heard the heavy clang of Steel Boots on the ground.

A squad of Imperial Knights, like harbingers of death, strode past him, clearing the path as they crossed the corpse-strewn battlefield.

The last thing the private soldier of the Judgment Court saw before he died was an Imperial Knight completely encased in ornate Power Armor, a terrifying Black War Axe slung across his back.

At that moment, he recalled a joke his comrades had made when they received their orders before the war broke out: ’The monsters from Verne are about to land at Kosai Port...’

Then, his consciousness faded completely into darkness.

Meanwhile, Fedor, leader of the Red Flame Son, walked to Reinhardt’s left, continuously reporting on the progress of the various fronts in the battle for Kosai Port.

To Reinhardt’s right walked Urus, the Commander of Vengeful. Behind him followed three elites seconded from the Silencer Battle Group.

After hearing Fedor’s report, Reinhardt immediately gave his orders.

"Contact Koller. Tell him to get to the Orbital Port at once. We need his power to confirm the detailed layout of the explosives on the top level."

Reinhardt stepped over a corpse, his Power Boots landing in a pool of blood and becoming stained dark red.

"Urus, you will liaise with Koller. Once you have the explosives layout, I’m giving the mission to assault the top-level port to you and the Silencers. Remember, the core of this mission is ensuring the port’s main structure does not suffer serious damage."

"Understood."

As they spoke, Reinhardt’s group, moving with a brisk and powerful stride, passed through a steel gate meant for heavy machinery. The temporary forward command post for the Third Fleet’s boarding teams was set up in this warehouse, long since emptied by the Judgment Court.

Upon seeing Reinhardt, the commanding officer of the boarding team immediately dropped the tactical map in his hands. He and his two Adjutants strode over, snapped to attention, and saluted by placing a clenched right fist over their chests. "Sir! Gregory, team leader of the Third Fleet ’Wild Dogs’ Boarding Team, reporting!"

This Imperial Navy officer—dressed in a dark blue uniform, with neat black hair and a large burn scar on his left cheek—was not only well-equipped, but also showed faint signs of coalescing ’Power’ within him.
