I Accidentally Built a Harem at the Beast Academy
Chapter 104: I Can Make it Better
Blair had no idea when the night had finally ended, or if she had passed out before he was finished.
When she finally fluttered her eyes open, she was staring blankly up at a white ceiling. Golden, blindingly bright sunlight streamed across the bed, far warmer and more intense than usual. She blinked against the glare and slowly turned her head to the left.
The window was shattered, the glass missing from its frame.
It wasn’t a dream.
Her mind flooded with images of the night before, the feeling of Daemus pressing against her.
Blair’s face erupted into a fiery red. She rubbed her eyes as she forced herself to sit up against the pillows. A stinging ache radiated through her thighs, making her wince and freeze midway.
She let the duvet drop slightly and looked around. The hotel bed was empty.
A sinking feeling settled in her chest. Her shoulders slumped, a deep sadness pulling at her features. She was alone.
Blair looked down at her skin. Her chest and thighs were sticky, covered in a messy mix of dried cum and faint streaks of dried blood from his claws. She desperately needed a shower. But as she stared at her trembling legs, concern crept in. She wasn’t sure she could even stand up, much less walk to the bathroom.
"Why the long face?" a deep voice suddenly echoed through the room.
Blair gasped, her head snapping up, her heart skipping a beat.
Daemus was leaning casually against the bathroom doorframe. He was shirtless, his broad chest glistening slightly, with his muscular arms crossed over his chest and a teasing smirk playing on his lips. Drifting out from the open doorway behind him was a cloud of warm steam, carrying a sweet, flowery scent that instantly filled the bedroom.
"You’re... you’re here," Blair stuttered out, her throat dry and her voice cracking into a hoarse whisper.
Daemus pushed off the doorframe and strolled over to a small table near the wall, reaching into a white plastic bag. "Where else would I be?" he asked smoothly.
He walked over to her side of the bed, holding out a bottle of water and two small packs of pills.
"Thank you," Blair whispered, taking them.
One pack contained standard painkillers, but the other was a morning-after pill.
Daemus shifted his weight from foot to foot, nervousness crossing his features. "Are they the wrong ones?" he asked quickly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just bought whatever the lady at the pharmacy said would make sure you don’t get pregnant."
Blair bit down hard on her bottom lip. She stared at the small white pill, her mind racing. He had cum inside of her so many times last night. What if it’s already too late? she panicked internally. She knew what she was agreeing to when she provoked him, and her original plan had been to sneak off to the academy pharmacy the second they got back to campus.
"No, they’re good," Blair assured him softly, looking back up. "Thank you, Daemus."
She desperately held onto the hope that she wasn’t pregnant like her life depended on it—because, her life actually did depend on it. She popped the pills from their foil, tossed them into her mouth, and washed them down with a long gulp of water.
Before she could even set the bottle down, Daemus scooped her up in his arms.
"What are you doing?!" Blair squeaked, her face flushing a deep crimson as she instinctively threw her arms around his neck to steady herself.
Daemus offered a bright smile. "Don’t worry. You’ll like it."
Blair looked up at him, her breath catching slightly. He looked so happy. His shoulders were relaxed, the tense strain that had gripped his jaw for days was gone. He didn’t look like he was fighting himself anymore; he looked like his old, teasing, golden-retriever self again.
The rut was over.
But as he carried her across the room, a new anxiety gnawed at the back of her mind. Did I actually satisfy him? she wondered, feeling the ache lingering between her legs. She couldn’t help but wonder if she had the stamina to ever do it again. Maybe it’ll hurt less next time?
Blair’s breath hitched as Daemus suddenly looked down, their eyes locking. The heat in her cheeks flared.
"What are you thinking about?" Daemus asked.
"Nothing," Blair mumbled shyly, quickly averting her gaze.
Daemus let out a low chuckle. "You can be such a bad liar sometimes."
He stepped into the bathroom, and Blair’s eyes widened to the size of saucers.
The air inside the bathroom was very warm. The lights were turned off. Instead, the room was dimly illuminated by dozens of flickering, scented candles lined up along the vanity and the edges of the floor. The sweet, fresh scent of a blooming garden wafted through the air—it was calming and delicate, not overpowering in the slightest.
In the center of the room, the bathtub was filled to the brim with warm, steaming water. Floating across the surface of the bubbles were hundreds of soft, pink rose petals.
Daemus looked down at her, a proud, boyish grin on his face. "You like it?"
Blair’s vision blurred. She blinked rapidly, desperately trying to fight back the tears welling in the corners of her eyes. It was, without a doubt, the sweetest, most romantic thing anyone had ever done for her.
Unable to find her voice, she could only offer a small, frantic nod.
Daemus’s smile softened. He stepped up to the edge of the tub and gently, carefully lowered her down into the warm, petal-covered water.
There was far more than just warm water and rose petals in the tub. As Daemus knelt beside the edge, he casually listed off the different soothing herbs and natural oils he had mixed into the bath.
Blair offered a soft smile. He had actually put a considerable amount of thought and effort into preparing this for her. As she soaked, she could feel the tight, coiled tension in her muscles slowly melting away into the water. Her cloudy head finally began to clear, and the aches across her body dulled into a manageable throb.
Daemus reached for a fluffy white towel. He rolled it up neatly and placed it at the edge of the tub behind her neck, creating a perfect little pillow for her to rest her head against.
"Relax," Daemus told her softly, his silver eyes catching the flickering candlelight. "I’ll take care of you."
