I Accidentally Built a Harem at the Beast Academy

Chapter 101: Blair Willows is Such a Crybaby

  • Next Chapter

Blair was shoved hard. Her bare knees hit the cold floor with a bruising thud as a hand forced her down.

"Are you sure about this?" a beastman muttered, his fingers hovering hesitantly just inches above her bare breasts. He squinted at her neck. "She is marked by a wolf."

A second beastman, whose hands were already gripping Blair’s trembling legs and roughly forcing them apart, showed a harsh smirk.

"Don’t be an idiot," the second beastman scoffed. "Wolf beastmen only mate their own kind. Something else must’ve bitten her, maybe in the heat of the moment of fucking this whore."

Blair turned her head to the side. Her cheek pressed against the tile as she stared blankly through the forest of muscular legs surrounding her.

Just a few yards away, a uniformed bellhop casually pushed a brass luggage cart past the circle. A group of well-dressed beastwomen chatted over glasses of champagne near the front desk. The hotel staff went about their business. No one stopped. No one even threw a passing glance in her direction. It was as if she were invisible, or worse, just a piece of trash littering the lobby floor.

This was the consequence of being human.

A dark, boiling heat began to bubble in her chest. She hated being human. She hated being so pathetically weak.

I wish I could kill them, a voice echoed in the darkest corner of her mind. I wish I could kill them all. How dare they touch her? Do they know who she is?

Slowly, the frantic, terrified trembling of her muscles ceased. A chilling smile curved across Blair’s lips.

"You’re such a crybaby, Blair Willows," she muttered to herself, her voice dropping into a cynical whisper. "Beastmen are hurting you, and you’re crying for one to save you. How much more pathetic can you get?"

The voice in her head sneered with venom. You disgust me even more than these animals do.

Blair slowly turned her head back. She looked dead into the eyes of the beastman whose hands were currently groping her breasts.

"Enjoying yourself?" Blair asked. Her voice didn’t shake. It was smooth, laced with dark amusement.

The beastman froze. His hands immediately stopped moving. He stared down at her, taken aback by her sudden confidence.

Blair tilted her head, jutting her bottom lip out into a mocking pout. "Why’d you stop? Was I more of a turn-on when I was crying and begging you to stop?"

A stunned silence crashed over the circle of predators. The beastmen exchanged bewildered looks. Just beyond the wall of muscle, Jasper stood frozen by the elevator doors, his jaw slightly slack as he stared at her in utter shock.

Using their hesitation, Blair calmly pushed herself up from the floor. She stood tall in the center of the circle, unbothered by her nakedness.

She reached up, grabbing the torn shirt wrapped around her head, and yanked it away. The fabric fell to the floor, instantly revealing the iridescent roots growing from her scalp.Next, she raised her fingers to her eyes. She pinched the brown contacts out, revealing her pink irises to the lobby lights, and casually squashed the small plastic lenses between her fingers.

The beastmen collectively took a hesitant step back.

"You want to know what I am?" Blair challenged, her pink eyes sweeping over the beastmen. A fearless smile danced on her lips. "Why don’t you come closer and take a proper look?"

Just as the words left her mouth, a roar shook the tense air of the hotel lobby.

Her smile vanished in an instant. Blair’s knees buckled. She collapsed hard onto the floor, her chest heaving as she desperately gasped for air. Her lungs burned with a fiery heat. She hunched over, coughing violently until hot blood splattered from her lips onto the pristine floor.

She had no idea what had just happened.

Blinking through the haze, she looked up. Chaos had erupted. Daemus was tearing through the wall of beastmen like a hurricane. He was shirtless, his muscles bulging as he threw a bear beastman across the room. He was dressed in a pair of casual pants that were too small for his frame, clearly thrown on in a desperate rush.

The edges of Blair’s vision began to blur into a dark, fuzzy tunnel. She was slowly losing consciousness.

"Daemus," she whispered softly into the noise.

Then, everything went pitch black.

When Blair finally came to, the first thing she felt was the plush, comforting softness of a bed.

Her eyes snapped open. She shot straight up, her heart hammering as she frantically looked around the dark room. Was it a dream? she wondered wildly, her fingers gripping the bedsheets. Was it all just a really bad dream?

But as the silence settled, she heard the steady sound of running water coming from a nearby bathroom.

She turned her head. A digital clock rested on the bedside table. The glowing red numbers read 8:14 PM.

The memories hit her in a rush. The elevator. Jasper. The beastmen about to rape her. And finally, Daemus, fighting his way through the crowd just before she passed out. He had come to save her.

Blair bit down hard on her bottom lip. Hesitantly, she pushed the covers aside and slipped out of the comfy bed. She looked down at herself; she was still naked, her pale skin dotted with dried splashes of blood that she wasn’t sure was hers.

She walked quietly across the carpeted floor and pulled the window curtains aside.

The full moon hung in the sky outside. It was so big and impossibly bright, casting a brilliant silver glow that seemed focused entirely on this one specific room. It looked so massive and close that Blair felt like she could just reach her hand through the glass and touch it.

Suddenly, she could feel a pair of eyes burning into her back.

Blair slowly turned around.

Daemus was standing just outside the bathroom doorway. Water dripped from his messy dark blue hair, trailing down his chest to the single white towel wrapped tightly around his waist.

Blair stared at him. The gentle, teasing warmth she was so used to seeing on his face wasn’t there. His jaw was clenched tight, his chest heaving with ragged breaths, and his silver eyes held an unrecognizable intensity.

Bathed in the silver moonlight pouring through the window, Blair took a hopeful, hesitant step forward.

But Daemus immediately took a step back.
