Chapter 270: flower messages

restaurant. She’s a waitress there.

No point lying about who she was hen he could easily verify himself. But I was worried he might find suspicion since she worked at a Warrington restaurant he might think she has ties to Louis. I hoped not.

“I see,” Keith accepted my answer.

My heart hammered in my chest as Keith inquired about Megan.

I couldn’t tell much of what he thought from that neither his facial expression say much as well. None-the- less he didn’t seem angry or upset about my conversations

I shouldn’t panic or he will find it strange.

“I see I’m glad you have

I wanted to glare at him but couldn’t. At the very least he wasn’t trying to stop me from communicating with others. He didn’t want me to be completely

We finished dinner and said our goodbyes to each other. We weren’t going to continue to investigate in his office tonight. There still weren’t any updates.

I let our a nervous sigh as I made my way to my bedroom. Even though I was aware Keith was watching and checking my emails it was still creepy knowing he was watching and looking at them. It reinforced how carefully I had to conduct my communication with Louis and Megan.

I held the pen in my hand as I contemplated how to go about crafting the letter I wanted to send to Louis as I sat in my bed. Plan was to secretly leave the letter for Louis at the cemetery for Louis to take.

Hence why I emphasised the grave and leaving flowers. How I went about this was extremely important.

I wanted to continue to continue trying to figure out where Edward was keeping Tony however I didn’t have any leads for now. Perhaps Louis had found something though and if we could communicate that would be a major help.

I took out my phone and checked the messages once again. So far it was a mix of things about Megan that were true. Was it that Louis who directly talking to me or was Megan conveying messages she received from Louis. Or perhaps they both had access to the account?

Tapping my pen against the paper I began to write a summary of my situation. I wanted him to be updated on everything. However, I could only use a a single paper or maximum to just to make things simple for me when I tried to hide it.

I wrote about Keith’s surveillance over me, how I managed to get back my phone, the ransom note from Tony Edward’s involvement and a short summer about the overall investigation.

I brought my pen to my lip once more as I contemplated what I wanted to write next. Louis and I needed to have an agreed way of communicating and to make our messages more clear to each other. Right know we were trying to figure out what one was saying to the other. It would help tremulously if we had a system of placing an agreed encryption style within our messages.

I thought of a system we could use to communicate with them. I then wrote on the back side of the page.

My final sentence was ’I love you, Louis’.

Once I was done I put the pen down and looked at the the wall absentmindedly for a moment.

I then removed the scrap papers from my notebook I had used to figure out the secret message coding I had decided I then ripped them up to shreds so one couldn’t read what was written.

Now I had to move on to figuring out how to do the hard part. How I was going to hide the letter?

The following day around mid-morning I prepared to go to the cemetery. I put on a simple long dress and then wore a trench coat over the my dress. I slipped the letter in an inner pocket I then left my room and went to Keith’s room to tell him I was leaving.

Upon knocking at the door he called out for me to enter. I found in the middle of his bedroom, dressing up and putting on a simple leather Jacket.

“You’re coming with me?” I asked him.

“Of course,” he replied.

I internally scoffed I shouldn’t be surprised that Keith wouldn’t let me go too far from him. He walked ahead of me. I took the opportunity to roll my eyes.

“Let’s go he told me as he held out his hand for me.

We went toward the entrance where the car was waiting for us. Some flowers were already waiting in car for me. Keith had ordered them ahead of time.

Upon arriving at the cemetery Keith came out with me. One of the bodyguards carried the flowers.

I bit my lip as I worried about Keith observing me as I tried to put in the letter.

As we made the way to way to where the grave was locatedKeiths phone suddenly rang. He paused and turned to me and the bodyguards as he looked at the phone.

I looked at the grave for a moment. I thought of the last time I was here and how I discussed with my brother my lawyers to divorce Keith.

I then let out a tired sigh as I recalled how difficult the whole process was.

I then neared my mothers grave with the flowers in hand. With the bodyguards behind me I slipped hand into my pocket of my trench coat and removed the folded letter. The movement barely took a second instantly placing it in the bouquet.

I knelt by the grave and removed the old flowers I had left there the last time. placed the flowers I started talking to my mother.

Help me mum. Your wish for me to live a happy life care true for a moment with the life I lived Louis and Tony. I’m in a pickle right now. I hope to find Tony…please tell me he’s alive and that I’ll come out of this.
