Humanity Is Gone, but I Have Billions of Clones
Chapter 153 - 152: Total Annihilation
At that moment, a Detector deployed on Venus transmitted a video feed to Li Qingsong.
Li Qingsong watched as countless ships desperately burst forth from Venus’s thick atmosphere. They swarmed like bees around the space station, all trying to dock.
Li Qingsong saw many Warships charge out of the atmosphere and head recklessly for Deep Space, completely ignoring whether they had enough supplies.
He also saw numerous ships colliding with one another in the chaos, setting off a chain of explosions in space.
Li Qingsong was stunned. But a moment later, he understood.
’This is... this is a civilization-wide riot. They’ve collapsed...’
He murmured, an indescribable ecstasy welling up in his heart.
In that moment, Li Qingsong understood. He understood everything.
The project he had poured countless resources and effort into—hydrating Venus for ten long years, even at the cost of Earth’s entire ecosystem—had finally pushed the planet’s environment to a tipping point. The Blutuk Civilization had finally collapsed, and he had finally reaped the ultimate reward for his efforts!
’So the Blutuk Fleet’s bizarre actions weren’t part of some conspiracy. It was... it was because they had already collapsed!’
They were in a complete panic, in total disarray, with no idea what to do. That’s why they were fleeing.
And as for this group of Warships charging toward his own forces...
A new sense of respect for his opponent grew in Li Qingsong’s heart.
Li Qingsong didn’t know the name of this enemy fleet commander. But ever since the war began, it was he who had repeatedly forced Li Qingsong onto the back foot.
He had even keenly identified Li Qingsong’s only weakness, seized the opportunity to take Venus, and nearly pushed him to a point of no return.
Now, with his civilization collapsing and everyone fleeing, he was personally leading his flagship and a few loyal followers in one last charge.
His skill and brilliance were beyond question. This defeat could only be attributed to the turn of the tide, something no single person could reverse.
’The greatest respect for an opponent... is total annihilation.
My nameless adversary, I will grant you the final honor of your military career.
Order... attack!’
Li Qingsong gave the order to launch an all-out assault.
The next moment, an endless barrage of Electromagnetic Cannon Projectiles and laser beams, endless Interstellar Missiles and Interstellar Mines, along with numerous manned and Unmanned Warships, all rushed toward the incoming enemy.
And then... in just one hour, the entire enemy fleet that had charged their defensive line, including the flagship, was completely destroyed.
Next were the enemy Warships desperately trying to escape.
The fleeing Warships were scattering in every direction.
Some, in their panic, simply picked a direction at random and fled. Li Qingsong ignored this group.
The Warships didn’t have many life-support supplies. Before long, they would run out of everything and perish among the stars.
The majority of the Warships, however, were racing desperately toward Venus.
Venus was the Blutuk Civilization’s current main base. At this moment, it seemed that only by returning to the heart of their civilization could these mentally broken soldiers find any sense of security.
Li Qingsong did not block this group either.
He simply gathered his fleet to follow behind them, herding them like a flock of sheep toward the vicinity of Venus.
’It’s easier to wipe them all out in one go when they’re gathered together.’
By now, Li Qingsong had completely blockaded the space lanes around Venus, but he did not launch a direct attack on the planet.
Because at this point, the entire planet of Venus had descended into chaos.
Without personnel to maintain them, almost all the ground bases were being destroyed by the harsh environment.
In space, millions of ships of all types were a chaotic mess, attacking and fighting one another.
Ships violently clashed with each other, whether to seize a docking port, a cargo ship, or just a few supplies.
Li Qingsong continuously broadcasted messages in the Blutuk language, like "Surrender and you will not be killed," but the riots within the Blutuk Civilization showed no signs of stopping.
In fact, the ships Li Qingsong dispatched to try and maintain order were met with indiscriminate, suicidal attacks, which destroyed dozens of his Warships and killed several hundred Clones.
’If that’s how it is... then let there be chaos.’
Li Qingsong waited in silence.
The great chaos around Venus lasted for a full month. In the end, the surviving Warships attempted to break out, but Li Qingsong mercilessly destroyed them.
Li Qingsong continued to broadcast the phrase "Surrender and you will not be killed." When one ship finally complied with his demands—powering down all offensive weapons, shutting off all Radar Systems, and flying alone to the designated coordinates—the remaining ships at last began to act.
At this point, there was no other path left but to surrender or commit suicide.
And those with enough courage and grit to kill themselves had already died on the battlefield or in the chaos.
’If that’s how it is... then we’ll surrender. We’ll leave our fate to be judged by our former enemy. Whether we live or die is no longer in our hands.’
With one taking the lead, the remaining ships, whether Warships or civilian vessels, all chose to surrender. Li Qingsong dispatched robots or Clones to board them, moved everyone to temporary holding areas, and seized control of the ships.
Only when the dust had completely settled did Li Qingsong finally let out a long sigh of relief.
Once he relaxed, an indescribable joy welled up in his heart.
’This war is finally, finally over. I’ve finally defeated this powerful enemy and won the ultimate victory.’
After a quick tally, Li Qingsong saw the final numbers of his haul.
He had captured a total of 160 million Blutuk People from all walks of life!
Among them were scholars and experts from various disciplines, experienced veteran workers, and warriors proficient in all kinds of tactics and skills!
In addition to the people, Li Qingsong had also acquired over 500,000 ships of various types. These included over 100,000 Warships, 10 large Space-Air Carriers, over 100 heavy transport ships, and over 90,000 assorted passenger ships, Scientific Research Vessels, industrial ships, and so on!
’So many people, so many ships... they’re all mine now!’
The group of Molomans he had captured before had included almost no scientists, engineers, or skilled technicians. As a result, even while sitting on the Blutuk Civilization’s mothership, he couldn’t even begin reverse-engineering it and had gained very little.
But things were different now. With so many Blutuk People—so many scientists, engineers, experts, scholars, and skilled workers—starting the reverse-engineering process and raising his technology to their level would be a matter of course.
’It’s time to enjoy the fruits of victory!’
