Rigel returned to his room shortly after, leaving the event behind, he waited until he entered his coffin before discovering what he had won this time.

[Congratulations, Writer, on discovering the Mirror of Erised and earning the “I know what I desire.” achievement.]

[Achievement unlocked: I know what I desire. (Gold)]

[Reward: Felix Felicis Phial (Gold)]

[Type: Bound Item – Phial]

[Effect: It automatically produces 1 ml per day, up to a maximum of 30 ml, a full dose of Felix Felicis (30 ml) lasts half a day, with the supply fully replenishing over a period of 30 days. The potion can be consumed continuously without side effects, and its use is completely undetectable.]

[Note: The potion can be drunk, not only by the writer, but it cannot be placed in any container, or it loses its effect. The potion can also be consumed in portions, but the duration of the effect decreases accordingly.]

[The Felix Felicis Phial was placed in the king’s treasury.]

Rigel froze for a moment, then a smile quickly spread across his face, yes, now this was truly a reward.

Rigel almost wanted to burst out laughing.

He received a damn bottle full of luck that could be refilled! Plus, it had no side effects and couldn’t be detected!

As long as he had enough of the potion, he could succeed at anything he did, without side effects, he could simply use it casually!

The only unfortunate thing is that it couldn’t be stored, so he couldn’t create an infinite amount, but as long as he always kept half in the bottle for emergencies, the other half could be used casually!

Taking a deep breath, Rigel was satisfied, very satisfied. The night had been full of ups and downs, but in the end, he felt it had been well worth it.

Rigel picked up the potion Phial and took a look, it looked exactly like the Phial Slughorn gave Harry in the film. The potion was small, but powerful.

He didn’t yet have specific plans for how to use it, but for now having this ‘trump card’ was more than enough, especially in future adventure worlds.

Rigel had to say that, aside from the [Transmuter] class, this was the best reward he had ever received in this world.

Satisfied, Rigel went to sleep with a contented smile, unaware that an old bee still had a headache because of him.

The next day, it was the weekend, and Rigel didn’t go to Hogsmeade. Instead, after breakfast, he decided to test the effects of Felix Felicis.

He drank 10 ml directly, enough to last 4 hours.

He had no specific plans, he just wanted to see the minimum limit of this thing, drinking without seeking success, just hoping that something would work out for himself.

He casually dodged Neville and Hermione, saying he had a project of his own to work on. The pair were a little confused, but didn’t mind much.

Rigel, on the other hand, after drinking the potion, didn’t remain still, he felt an animation and excitement within him, as if he had been injected with a dose of serotonin and dopamine.

He felt a strange urge to practice Animagus.

He didn’t know why, he had basically already given up on it, but at that moment, he felt it seemed like a great idea.

So he went to his room and put a mandrake leaf directly into his mouth, he had several good items in his treasure, after all, they wouldn’t spoil.

Not just a mandrake leaf, he had the whole mandrake!

Placing the leaf on the roof of his mouth, he used transmutation to alter the roof of his mouth, essentially causing the leaf to sink into the flesh and become trapped inside.

Rigel would normally need a lot of concentration for something like that, but at that moment, he simply did it!

Rigel didn’t seem to notice anything wrong, nodding contentedly, he came to his senses and started walking away. It would take a whole month for the leaf to be ready, so he didn’t think much more about it now and let that feeling guide him out of the castle.

It was Saturday, so even when he left Hogwarts, nobody stopped him, he went straight to Hogsmeade.

The damp ground contrasted with the light snow in some places, a result of the first snowfalls in the region.

Rigel didn’t care about that, he walked with a smile on his face, not knowing where he was going, and it didn’t take him long to arrive in Hogsmeade.

He looked around for a moment, watching civilians and students pass by, but his steps didn’t stop for long, he wasn’t going home. Instead, unknowingly, he arrived at the Three Broomsticks.

He felt comfortable, and when Rosmerta approached, he ordered a cup of hot chocolate and took out a book to read.

He wasn’t in a hurry, he felt it wasn’t the right time yet, but it was coming. He read his book while sipping hot chocolate for almost two hours, until he put the book down. At some point, he saw the Minister’s figure approaching.

“Rosmerta, my dear, how are you?” Cornelius Fudge himself was flashing his best smile at the beautiful Rosmerta. Unfortunately, however, Rosmerta didn’t act familiarly with him just because he was the Minister, she treated him like any ordinary customer.

Rigel could almost see the frustration and irritation beneath the minister’s smile, but he didn’t pay much attention. Some aides came with the minister, Rigel didn’t mind, but as they were about to go upstairs to a private room, Rigel stood up.

He saw something flying behind the minister, a beetle.

Seeing that beetle, Rigel finally understood why he was there, the smile that had grown on his face spread from ear to ear, and without knowing it, a glass jar had already appeared in his hands.

Before their astonished eyes, Rigel appeared behind them, slamming the lid shut on the jar in one swift motion, catching the beetle.

The group was a little surprised, confused, but Rigel didn’t think anything more of it. He nodded to them, maintaining a gentle smile, containing his excitement, turned and left, with the pot already in his hands. He could hear the soft tapping inside the pot as he placed it inside his cloak, the beetle was clearly trying to escape.

Rigel had to control himself a lot to avoid bursting into laughter as he walked away.

It was only after arriving home, under Kreacher’s strange gaze, that he tried to greet him, only for Rigel to quickly pass by him. Rigel was following the compass direction with his mind, he soon appeared in front of Calypso, who was in her potions room in the basement.

Calypso was surprised, but she didn’t stop her movements, clearly dividing her focus between the two.

“Rigel, what happened?” Calypso asked curiously, though pleasantly surprised, she knew Rigel wouldn’t just randomly enter a normal situation like that.

Rigel smiled and lifted the jar for Calypso to see inside. The beetle was still frantically struggling to escape, but Rigel didn’t care. He spoke in an incredibly sweet and nauseating tone. “Look what I caught…”
