The first sunrise of the new age rose above Asterion.

For the first time, there were no black stars.

"Is it really over?"

Victoria watched the newborn stars.

"I don’t know."

Cole approached with Evelyn.

"The city is rebuilding."

Evelyn held Elias Crow’s journal.

Victoria turned.

"What?"

Evelyn opened the journal.

Every page was blank.

Cole frowned.

"That’s new."

"No," Evelyn said.

For once, he carried no spear.

"What will happen to the Crimson Throne?"

Victoria looked at him.

"You decide."

Valerius seemed surprised.

"I decide?"

"Yes."

He looked toward the city.

"I think I’ve spent enough time sitting on thrones."

A faint smile appeared.

"Perhaps I’ll help rebuild instead."

The ancient guardians began removing their armor.

Arkon placed his sword beside the palace.

Seraphine opened her crystal bowl.

Thalen lowered his bow.

Ordan removed his shield.

Elara stepped from the shadows.

Malachor closed his eyes.

They had defended creation for thousands of years.

Suddenly, the Heart of Harmony released a powerful pulse.

The Living Dawn.

Dawn noticed.

"So has the Dawn."

"How?"

She smiled.
