The moment Victoria Kane crossed the celestial gateway, the universe changed.

There was no sensation of falling.

No rushing wind.

Only light.

Endless rivers of golden, silver, and sapphire radiance flowed around the travelers like living currents. Entire galaxies drifted past them, each no larger than a glowing lantern in the boundless sea between worlds.

Lucas Reed stared in amazement.

"I don’t think we’re walking anymore."

Cole Mercer looked down.

"There isn’t even any ground."

As if answering him, a pathway of shimmering crystal slowly formed beneath their feet, stretching endlessly toward a distant horizon.

The silver-robed traveler smiled.

"The Path of Balance welcomes those who carry hope."

Victoria looked around.

"Where are we?"

The traveler raised the blue-star staff.

"Between worlds."

"This place is called the Astral Crossing."

"It exists beyond time, connecting every realm touched by the First Light."

Far below the crystal pathway, countless worlds floated like luminous pearls suspended within an endless ocean of stars.

Some glowed brightly with life.

Others were dim, their light fading beneath creeping shadows.

Dr. Evelyn Brooks carefully recorded every detail inside Elias Crow’s journal.

The silver pages filled themselves with elegant script.

She paused in disbelief.

Ahead, seven towering pillars slowly emerged from the radiant mist.

Each pillar was carved from a different celestial stone.

One burned with golden fire.

Another shimmered like flowing water.

A third sparkled with frozen starlight.

The remaining pillars radiated wind, earth, crystal, and living shadow in perfect harmony.

At their center stood an enormous circular hall without walls or ceiling.

The stars themselves formed its roof.

The traveler stopped.

"We have arrived."

Victoria gazed at the magnificent structure.

"The Council of Dawn."

Before anyone could move farther, seven luminous figures appeared around the hall.

Each wore robes woven from constellations.

Their faces were hidden beneath radiant hoods, yet their presence filled the Astral Crossing with calm authority.

The first figure stepped forward.

A crown of tiny suns circled above its head.

"Welcome..."

"...Keeper of the First Dawn."

The remaining six bowed respectfully.

Victoria instinctively returned the gesture.

"I didn’t expect a welcome."

The second figure chuckled softly.

"We have waited."

"For longer than your stars have existed."

Father Gabriel whispered in awe.

"They’re older than creation."

The first Elder nodded.

"We witnessed the birth of your universe."

"We also witnessed the first war against the Endless Darkness."

Nox’Rath lowered his head respectfully.

"It has been many ages... Elders."

One of the luminous figures smiled.

"And yet..."

"You found your way back to the Light."

Nox’Rath remained silent.

The Elder’s gaze shifted toward Victoria.

"The Balance has been restored."

"But the harmony of one universe is only the first step."

With a gentle wave of its hand, the stars above the Council Hall rearranged themselves into an immense celestial map.

Hundreds...

Then thousands...

Then countless universes appeared.

Several shone brilliantly.

Many flickered weakly.

Others were almost completely consumed by darkness.

A heavy silence settled over the group.

Cole stared at the impossible map.

"I thought we saved everything."

The Elder looked at him kindly.
