Selena's passionate words reverberated in the air.

Anderson and Lopez watched her, and the hesitation on their faces gradually faded, replaced by resolute solemnity.

Lopez was the first to raise his hand, clenching his fist to his chest, hoarsely and heavily saying:

"I'm with you, Selena—until the end."

Anderson quickly added, "Me too. If we're going to prison, then we'll go together!"

Selena looked at them, and finally, a faint smile appeared at the corner of her mouth. She nodded, did not thank them, and turned to the Flow Mirror again, with the last hint of hesitation in her gaze vanishing.

She took a deep breath, pulled out the carefully prepared speech from her bosom, densely filled with words—

Evidence of the Prometheus Plan, financial interactions between Laira and the Muggle tycoon, the list of concealed disappearances and deaths, evidence of Hosone's innocence...

Every line of text was bound to cause a massive shock.

Selena walked to the front of the Flow Mirror, carefully arranging her robe, smoothing out every crease. In the mirror, she stood tall, with her head held high, her eyes sharp as a drawn sword.

She spoke softly to the mirror, as if rehearsing, yet it felt like she was swearing to herself, to the Magic World, to the approaching storm:

"It's time... It's time for all compatriots to see the tumor hidden in the sunlight."

"Fear cannot rule us, lies cannot define us! We must unite and face the truth, no matter how cruel it is."

"Because only by doing this..."

She paused, her voice even more resolute:

"Only by doing this, are we worthy of a future."

"Ding—!"

A clear ring sounded.

"Director Goldstein," Nelson entered the room, his voice tense, "Everything's ready, live broadcast starts in thirty seconds. Across the United States... all online Flow Mirrors will be forced to relay."

"Thank you, Mr. Nelson."

Selena nodded, taking one last glance at the speech in her hand before placing it on a table piled with documents.

She had memorized all the content by heart; Selena didn't plan to read from the script in front of the camera—because some words must flow directly from the heart.

"Five, four..."

Nelson's countdown began.

Selena slowly adjusted her breathing, inhaling all tension, fear, and hesitation into her lungs, then exhaling, leaving only pure resolve.

She lifted her eyes, her gaze astonishingly bright.

"Three, two, one... Connect!"

The mirror surface of the Flow Mirror surged violently, transforming from deep blue to transparent before displaying Selena's close-up.

At this moment, in living rooms, taverns, and shops across the United States, wherever a Flow Mirror was on, it forcibly switched to this channel, revealing her resolute face.

Countless people paused their tasks, raised their heads, and watched the suddenly changing screen in amazement.

"Good evening, compatriots."

Selena spoke, her voice clear and steady, carrying a peculiar strength.

"I am Selena Goldstein, Director of the Auror Office Command within the Magic Congress."

"I'm sorry to disturb everyone on such a rainy night, but what I have to say concerns each of us, concerns the future of the Magic World, and even concerns... whether we can still have a future."

She paused for a moment, letting the words sink in:

"From this morning's newspaper, everyone knows of the series of shocking events that occurred last night: Chairman Hosone accused of crimes, Director Hughes encountering misfortune, Director Perez dead, Grindelwald reappearing, and..."

She took a breath and said, "Ms. Laira Picquery becoming the acting Congress President!"

"But I must tell you... not everything you know is the truth."

"The truth is, a Muggle aristocratic organization called 'Prometheus' has been secretly researching magic for years, imprisoning wizards for experiments, and within the Magic Congress, senior officials have colluded with them, betraying compatriots, covering up crimes..."

"Bang!"

Just then, the studio door was blown open, Anderson and Lopez were suddenly struck by incoming spells, the immense roar and cries cutting off Selena's next words.

Spells followed, shooting into the room from outside, forcing Selena to interrupt her speech and evade quickly; the wooden table in front of her was blasted to pieces, papers floating and falling all over the floor.

Outside the camera's view, the control room echoed with exclamations and shoving sounds, Rex Grim stormed into the studio, his Auror uniform equally soaked by rain, hair messily stuck to his forehead and his face filled with terrifying gloom.

He was accompanied by four Aurors, all strangers to Selena.

"Cut the signal immediately!"

Grim shouted towards the control room, then turned to Selena, angrily exclaiming:

"Selena! Do you know what you're doing? This is unauthorized incendiary language! You're destabilizing Congress!"

Selena stood up in disarray, facing Grim with irrepressible anger in her eyes:

"Grim! You're the one who should explain! Why stop me? Why fear the truth being revealed? Or are you one of them? Are you involved in this betrayal?"

"I have not betrayed anyone!"

Grim's voice abruptly raised as he stepped forward, Magic Wand already in hand:

"I am fulfilling my duty! And you, Goldstein, what grounds do you have for what you said? False accusations against dedicated government officials—is this what an Auror should do? Don't tarnish your uniform!"

"Slander?"

Selena emitted a sharp sneer, "Who is truly slandering?! Grim, look at me! Look at the badge on me! Our duty is to protect compatriots, not to be watchdogs for ambition!"

She drew her Magic Wand, unyieldingly saying:

"If you have any respect left as an Auror, step aside. Let me finish the truth, let the public discern truth from falsehood. After that, arrest me or try me, as you wish. But now—step aside!"

Grim's face twisted under the Magic Lamp, his voice coldly saying:

"I say for the last time, drop the Magic Wand, surrender!"

"Absolutely not." Selena replied with just two words.

The Magic Spell light instantly erupted in the narrow studio!

"Expelliarmus!"

"Protego!"

The spells collided, exploding in dazzling sparks.

Anderson and Lopez also scrambled up from the ground, joining the battle, clashing with the Aurors brought by Grim.

The studio was suddenly thrown into chaos, spells flying, equipment shattering, the air full of the screeching vibrations of Magic Power clashing.

Only the heavily protected Flow Mirror remained intact, spells bouncing off it and striking some unlucky soul.

Nelson and other FMC staff had already slipped out every swiftly when Grim had barged in, now watching the chaotic scene inside, looking at each other.
