Ever since she started school, they had always been the ones to start trouble.

Don’t start trouble, but don’t be afraid of it either.

Samuel Ford was beginning to understand her code of conduct. To be honest, he didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. If someone bullies you, are you supposed to thank them for it?

’Ridiculous.’

He looked at Shawn Ford, displeased. "Since when did you lose all sense of right and wrong?"

Shawn Ford looked away guiltily. His lips moved, but he couldn’t say a single word.

He had to admit, he was biased against Amanda Vance now. That was why even though he had just seen Shirley Vance bump into her first, he had subconsciously ignored it, focusing only on Amanda tripping Shirley.

’Who does she think she is, going after my brother? She should take a good look in the mirror.’

He was fuming. Seeing this, Samuel Ford’s brow furrowed even deeper. After a moment, he looked away and said coolly, "You’re overthinking it. She has never had any designs on me."

’The way she looked at him was no different from how she looked at anyone else.’

This realization displeased him.

Shawn Ford, however, was stunned. "Huh?"

’Amanda Vance... doesn’t like my brother?’

"Why the hell not!" He grew even angrier. "My brother is so outstanding, what right does she have to not be into him? Can she even find a better man in this world?"

’What kind of logic is that.’

Samuel Ford shot him a glance, not bothering to reply.

At this point, he was convinced it was all Amanda Vance’s fault. No matter what she did, he would probably think she was the one in the wrong.

’Completely unreasonable.’

He ignored him and continued to look over at the commotion.

Shirley Vance was completely dazed from the fall, and the whispers from the people nearby all reached her ears.

There were even more people here today than at the Ford family’s home the other day. Several of her chosen "targets" were here, too. But now, it was all ruined.

She trembled all over, not knowing what to do.

The principal also saw what was happening. His face darkened as he waved over two female teachers, telling them to quickly escort her out.

’What a mess.’

He shot Amanda Vance a look of disapproval. ’I just knew her showing up today meant trouble.’ However, when he thought of the person who had sent her the invitation, his brow furrowed again, and he ultimately said nothing.

The cafeteria’s cleaning staff quickly cleaned up the mess on the floor, and the bowl of soup was cleared away.

Amanda Vance sat down with the plate of food she had gotten for herself. Not a single person sat at her table.

Everyone knew about the "good deeds" she had supposedly done in the past, and just now she had bullied her own sister.

Yes, even some people who saw Shirley Vance bump into her first felt that her retaliation was too extreme. After all, that was her sister.

On top of her promiscuous private life, people now added "vicious" to their impression of her.

Even if they tried their best to hide it, with hundreds of pairs of eyes staring at her the same way, Amanda could have been a complete idiot and still understood what their looks meant.

She smiled nonchalantly, paying them no mind. She ate her meal slowly, tapping lightly on her phone. When she saw a message from Felix, her gaze softened.

He had sent a video. Hayden Grant was lying there like a pasha, and a small hand was reluctantly pounding on his leg.

"There."

Felix felt his hand was sore from the pounding. He stopped, grabbed Hayden’s phone, and scurried to the spot farthest away from him, his eyes filled with utter disdain.

’Grown-ups who bully kids have no class. Hmph.’

’I’ll definitely get him back for this when I’m older.’

Noticing his glare, Hayden Grant glanced at him. "What are you ’hmphing’ about? We agreed that if you massaged me for ten minutes, I’d let you play with my phone. You agreed to it yourself. It’s perfectly fair."

’Fair my butt.’

’If I wasn’t scared Mom would notice something was off, I’d just use my own phone. Why would I need to use his?’

Felix looked at him with even more contempt. ’Extorting a kid, using child labor... what a bad guy.’

He sent the video he just recorded to his mom. Seeing no reply, he simply scrolled up through the chat log.

He only knew a handful of characters, but seeing that it was mostly Hayden sending messages to his mom, and his mom rarely replied, he instantly felt a lot better.

’He wants to be my dad? In his dreams.’

He was so absorbed in his reading that he didn’t notice when Hayden Grant came up behind him. Unsurprisingly, Hayden saw the message he had sent, and his face instantly darkened. "You little brat, you actually dared to tattle on me."

Felix jumped in fright, dropped the phone, and was about to run.

But Felix forgot how short his legs were. Hayden caught up to him in just a few steps, hoisted him up, and said through gritted teeth, "You little brat, watch what I do to you."

Felix wasn’t afraid of him at all. He even made a face at him. "Nyah nyah nyah, if you’ve got the guts, hit me. When Mom gets back, I’ll tell her you bullied me. Let’s see if she ever talks to you again."

Hayden Grant’s temple twitched. He looked at the little guy, acting all tough with his mom as backup, and sneered as his hand slowly moved towards the boy’s armpit. "Well then, I’ll just make you happy for a bit. Your mom definitely won’t blame me for that."

As soon as he finished speaking, he tickled him.

Felix’s small body instantly arched. He flailed his arms and legs, laughing, his laughter mixed with pleas for mercy. "HAHAHAHAHA I was wrong HAHAHAHAHA, Uncle..."

He laughed so hard tears started to well in his eyes. After a while, Hayden Grant finally let go.

The moment the laughter stopped, Felix burst out crying with a "WAAAH!" He struggled out of his uncle’s grasp, and as soon as his feet hit the floor, he ran towards the phone on the sofa, sending a voice message. "Mommy, Uncle is bullying me!"

"You little brat!"

’Hmph. That’s what you get for bullying me.’

Felix tossed the phone aside, hugged a throw pillow to cover his armpits tightly, and looked at him triumphantly.

Hayden Grant looked at the message that had already been sent and frantically tried to recall it, only to see the indicator that she was "typing..."

’It’s over. I can’t believe I got taken down by this little brat today.’

He ground his teeth as he stared at the smug little kid. ’Who said he was a good boy? He’s clearly a little devil.’

’Hidden beneath that pale, dumpling-like exterior is a mind full of mischief.’

He pinched the bridge of his nose. ’There’s really nothing I can do about him.’

’What can I do? The kid’s got someone who spoils him rotten.’

When Amanda Vance opened the voice message, her son’s voice came through, followed by Hayden Grant’s flustered and exasperated shouts.

She couldn’t help but smile and shake her head, amused. She hadn’t expected the two of them to get along so playfully. Hayden probably never expected that he would one day be bested by a small child.

’Tsk, what’s that saying? What goes around, comes around? Everyone meets their match?’

She looked at her phone, a genuine smile on her face.

Samuel Ford happened to see this as he was passing by. The child’s voice also reached his ears. He stopped dead in his tracks and whipped his head around to look at her.

To be precise, he was looking at her phone.

Amanda Vance noticed his reaction. The smile on her face faded slightly as she looked up at Samuel Ford. "President Ford, can I help you?"

Samuel Ford didn’t answer her. His eyes were fixed on her phone, his brows furrowed tightly.

’That voice...’

Shawn Ford scratched his ear and said in confusion, "Brother, why do I feel like I just heard Felix’s voice?"
