High Martial: I Use Everything as Swords
Chapter 534 - 325: Instantly Slaying 36 Phantoms, the Tier Four Snake God Shall Be Slain Today
BOOM!!!
The world thundered in response.
At the center of the collision between the fist and the vortex, space itself rippled and distorted.
The ground of the Cyan Miasma Swamp was forced down dozens of meters, forming a massive, ring-shaped crater.
The Military Soul Battle Spirit’s fist was unstoppable. It tore through the vortex and slammed squarely into Hiss.
Hiss let out a piercing shriek. The massive punch sent scales flying from its colossal body, and one of its poison-spewing heads was smashed into a bloody pulp.
However, the Military Soul Battle Spirit’s fist was also tainted with black poisonous liquid and a decaying spiritual aura, causing its light to dim slightly.
The exchange between Divine beings had resulted in mutual injury!
"I see... The source of your power is this swarm of ants." The central Head of Dominance, possessing immense intellect, instantly saw through the nature of Ye Jinghong’s power.
"I just have to slaughter them all, and you, this ’Pseudo-God,’ will become an empty shell!"
A cruel light flashed in Hiss’s eyes. Its head of trickery, which had kept its eyes shut tight, suddenly snapped them open.
BZZZT!
An invisible wave instantly swept across the entire battlefield.
The Snake Lizard People warriors, who had been locked in combat with the Goliath mechas, suddenly had their eyes turn crimson. Losing all reason, they madly charged the nearest human soldiers, even throwing their bodies in front of gun barrels.
Meanwhile, the thirty-six Phantom Guards who had long since infiltrated the rear finally bared their fangs.
They activated their racial Talent—[Shadow Voidification].
Their bodies seemed to melt into the air, becoming undetectable by radar and thermal imaging.
They bypassed the outer defensive lines and lunged straight for the fire support positions and the transport ships hovering in the air.
SQUELCH!
A soldier operating a heavy machine gun suddenly spurted a torrent of blood from his throat and collapsed limply.
Behind him, a blurry silhouette flickered, revealing a sharp claw gripping a Bone Blade before quickly vanishing again.
"Where are they? Where’s the enemy?!" his spotter screamed in terror, spraying wildly with his rifle but hitting nothing.
This unseen, intangible enemy sowed immense panic throughout the Vanguard Corps.
SHINK!
The poison-coated Bone Blades easily sliced through the ship’s hull.
Several soldiers who had just peeked out to open fire had their throats slit before they could even glimpse the enemy’s shadow, blood gushing from their necks.
Screams rang out one after another.
In just a few breaths, the flagship’s internal comms channel was flooded with a rising tide of alarms and screams.
The Phantom Guards’ goal wasn’t merely to kill, but to create maximum chaos.
A machine gunner’s throat was slit, instantly silencing a fire support position.
A squad leader’s command terminal was smashed by a Bone Blade, leaving his entire unit leaderless.
As death and panic spread among the soldiers, the form of the Military Soul Battle Spirit in the sky flickered violently. Its once-solid right arm turned somewhat transparent, and its punching motion faltered for a moment.
"Hahaha! Your power is fading!"
Hiss cackled madly and seized the opportunity to counterattack. Its three heads simultaneously spewed poisonous mist, a Spiritual Shock, and a suppressing force of rules, entangling the Battle Spirit completely.
"Damn it!"
Ye Jinghong’s eyes were crimson.
His entire focus was consumed with controlling the Battle Spirit to fight Hiss; he couldn’t spare anything to rescue his troops in the rear.
If he withdrew his power, Hiss would instantly counter and kill him.
But if he didn’t, his soldiers would be wiped out, and he would be finished anyway.
High above, inside the X-01 Prototype, Han Feng’s expression was grim.
’I was going to let you show off a bit more, but it looks like I have to step in now.’
Without further hesitation, he switched the fighter’s piloting mode to Violent Impact and dived toward the deck of the Celestial Whale.
A silver-gray streak of light descended from the sky.
The X-01 Prototype piloted by Han Feng didn’t land, but hovered over the wide dorsal deck of the Celestial Whale.
The cockpit canopy jettisoned.
The next moment, Han Feng, clad in the [Escapee Type II] Spirit Armor, was standing silently on the deck.
The entire process was silent and so fast that the nearby sentries didn’t even have time to react.
The vector nozzles on the back of his sleek [Escapee Type II] Spirit Armor flared to life, and he shot forward, leaving an afterimage as he charged directly toward the hole corroded in the ship’s hull.
HUMMM!
Spiritual Power surged out of him like a tide as he instantly activated his [Eye of Insight] at maximum power.
The corridor, which would have appeared empty to a normal person, was a completely different scene in his field of vision.
The Phantom Guards in their [Phantom Step] state appeared as smudges in space—black, humanoid silhouettes of distorted light and energy.
One Phantom Guard was raising its sharp claw, preparing to pierce the heart of a communications officer from behind.
Suddenly, it felt a chill on its neck.
Without any warning, a Short Sword radiating a sinister, cold gleam appeared out of thin air. With pinpoint precision, it sliced into the gap between the scales on its neck and emerged from the other side.
SQUELCH!
This Elite Assassin, a master at the Tier Three Peak, couldn’t even let out a scream before its body dropped out of its void state. It collapsed into a pool of its own blood, clutching its neck.
"One down."
Han Feng’s figure vanished from the end of the corridor in a flash.
"Careful! He can see us!"
A Phantom Guard let out a sharp, spiritual roar, and the other assassins reacted instantly.
They stopped fighting individually. Three assassins lunged from the shadows at the same time.
Forming a triangle, they sealed off all of Han Feng’s escape routes. Their poisoned Bone Blades stabbed toward his back, throat, and Dantian.
Their coordination was seamless and their timing perfect—enough to instantly kill any Martial Artist below the rank of Grandmaster.
