Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Aeri who was standing in front of the door could hear their voices as they chatted even if only faintly. Her heart heated up hearing Soo Yin's gentleness when she spoke to Jo Yeon Ho.

 "Once a bitch, will always going to be like that," Aeri cursed.

 Aeri almost fell down when the door was suddenly opened from the inside. Because the position of her body was leaning against the door.

"What are you doing here?" Dae Hyun said in a cold tone while massaging the space between his eyebrows. His left hand grabbed Jo Yeon Ho's wrist.

 "I was just about to open the door because you guys hadn't come out after so long," Aeri said, stuttering, cold sweat was already dripping from her body for fear of being caught if she was eavesdropping on their conversation.

 "Is she not coming?" Aeri poked her head in slightly to peek at what Soo Yin was doing.

Dae Hyun then closed the door tightly again. He knew that Aeri would say things that were inappropriate for Soo Yin to hear.

 "We'd better go to the dining room now," said Dae Hyun in a flat tone. Then stepped his feet ahead with Yeon Ho.

 "Yeon Ho, come here with mom," Aeri asked Yeon Ho to sit next to her.

 Yeon Ho shook his head because he wanted to be near his fatdeka.

"Why don't you take Soo Yin ?" said Park Ji Hoon.

 "Mom is still sick, Grandpa," said Jo Yeon Ho quickly.

 Mrs. Park and Aeri looked at each other with knitted eyebrows because they were very surprised to hear Yeon Ho mention Soo Yin's name with mother. Though he usually called her as eunnie.

 "Yeon Ho, who are you calling mom to?" Aeri insisted with a look of displeasure and a sharp look at Yeon Ho.

 "There's no need to argue because these are all facts. From now on, don't poison his mind again with bad things," said Dae Hyun so that the debate would not continue.

 Park Soo Hyun was too lazy to join the dinner but finally came down because Mrs. Park continued to persuade him. As a mother, Mrs. Park didn't want chaos to happen all the time in the house.

 "Eat in peace. I don't want a commotion in this house," said Mrs. Park before one of her two sons and daughter-in-law spoke. Luckily Soo Yin didn't join the dinner so the dining room atmosphere wouldn't feel awkward.

Park Soo Hyun sat without even looking at Dae Hyun. Likewise Dae Hyun who immediately looked away if they accidentally about to look at each other.

 Mrs. Park could only sigh deeply as she watched her two sons who didn't get along. But she can understand if things might take some time.

 Dae Hyun only ate a little. Likewise, Jo Yeon Ho who didn't even touch his food at all.

 "Yeon Ho, why don't you eat?" asked Park Soo Hyun who finally spoke up because he had seen his nephew only looking at the food in front of him.

 "I want to eat with Mom Soo Yin," Yeon Ho said honestly. He felt sorry if later Soo Yin had to eat alone.

 "Yeon Ho, can you not talk about her? It's always that woman that you care about," Aeri said with a rising voice as she was no longer able to contain her annoyance.

Yeon Ho was so scared until he clung closer to his father. He gripped Dae Hyun's arm tightly.

 Dae Hyun put the spoon on the plate because Aeri had made him uncomfortable eating the food. He didn't like it when Jo Yeon Ho was always yelled at. This wasn't the first time that Aeri had done it but it was the umpteenth time that Dae Hyun had known about it.

 "Aeri, if you continue like this, not only will your husband leave but your child will also leave you," whispered Mrs. Park who sat close to her.

 "Yeon Ho, let's just go." Dae Hyun then carried Yeon Ho's body and left the dining room.

 Aeri covered her face with both hands. Really regretted for being a little rude to Jo Yeon Ho.

 "Aeri, now chase them before you really lose them," said Mrs. Park.

 Actually, Aeri didn't like it when she had to always beg and ask for mercy. But for the sake of her position in this house, Aeri often did it.

 Aeri left the dining room to chase Dae Hyun and Yeon Ho.

Dae Hyun then went into the guest room to meet his wife. With Yeon Ho's position already in his arms.

 "Why are you guys so fast?" Soo Yin said while frowning. But if she saw the look on Dae Hyun's face, Soo Yin guessed that something bad had happened. Grateful that she didn't come to eat with them.

 "We should just go home," Dae Hyun said as he packed Soo Yin's dirty clothes into a paper bag.

 "What happened? Didn't you say you are going to stay?" Soo Yin said as she lowered her feet to the floor.

"No, we'd better go home." Dae Hyun walked over to Soo Yin and stroked her hair.

 "Yeon Ho, will you come home with us? You don't have to be afraid anymore," Dae Hyun coaxed as he crouched down in front of his son.

 Dae Hyun felt very angry knowing that Aeri hadn't changed from the past until now. It turned out that Aeri was only being sweet to Yeon Ho only in front of him. The fact was that Aeri only used Yeon Ho for her personal interests.

 "Go home to where?" asked Yeon Ho who really didn't understand.

 "Go back to Mother Soo Yin's house. Believe me, we won't scare you. We won't threaten you either," said Dae Hyun.

Yeon Ho was silent, seeming thoughtful. Considered whether to accept or reject his father's offer.

 "Did someone threaten you that made you feel scared?" Dae Hyun urged to know Yeon Ho's answer if Aeri often threatened him.

 "If you don't want to come with us, that's okay.. Father will come back tomorrow to see you," Dae Hyun said after seeing the doubt in his son's eyes.
