"Then where is Jean? I want to meet her," said Park Soo Hyun.

 "She's not at home and has already left. You don't need to look for her if you just want to hurt her feelings," Chang Yuan said flatly.

 "Sorry, I have to go," said Chang Yuan, remembering that Jean had to be taken to the hospital at this time.

 "Chang Yuan, tell me where is Jean?" said Park Soo Hyun while banging on Chang Yuan's car window.

 Chang Yuan had to roll down the window so that Park Soo Hyun could see Jean's current state. Because of what he had done, Jean became hurt.

 "Jean?" Park Soo Hyun's eyes widened when he saw Jean was closing her eyes in the back passenger seat. Her body was covered with a blanket.

 "Sorry, I have to go." Chang Yuan was reluctant to explain about Jean's current state. He immediately drove his car without caring about Park Soo Hyun.

 "Wait!" shouted Park Soo Hyun.

Park Soo Hyun continued to follow Chang Yuan's car which was speeding fast enough until they finally arrived at a hospital. He then approached Chang Yuan who was carrying Jean's body.

 "What happened to Jean?" said Park Soo Hyun.

 Chang Yuan did not want to answer because it would make his emotions rise and become uncontrollable. Instead, he continued to walk and lay Jean's body on the gurney that had been prepared by the nurses who were guarding in the front.

 Chang Yuan continued to follow where the nurse took Jean for immediate treatment. He was really worried right now.

 "You'd better wait outside, let us check her out," said one of the nurses to Chang Yuan who wanted to barge in.

 "Okay." Chang Yuan finally turned around until now his position was facing each other with Park Soo Hyun.

 "Chang Yuan, what exactly happened to Jean?" asked Park Soo Hyun curiously.

"You better go home and don't worry about Jean. I'm here to take care of her," said Chang Yuan. It was useless to have Park Soo Hyun there because he will definitely hurt Jean's feelings even more. That night was enough for Jean to feel it.

 Park Soo Hyun finally chose to go home because Chang Yuan didn't want him to be there. His steps were a little heavy and he occasionally looked back. His attempt to meet and apologize to Jean had to fail tonight.

 Chang Yuan paced in front of the door. He was waiting for doctors and nurses to come out of the room. Hopefully nothing bad happened to Jean.

 It wasn't long before the door finally opened. Chang Yuan immediately rushed to walk closer towards the door.

 "Doctor, how is she?" asked Chang Yuan anxiously.

 "Your girlfriend is fine. She's just too stressed, you should comfort her so that the stress doesn't continue. It will affect her health," explained a female doctor to Chang Yuan.

 "She's not my girlfriend. We're just friends," Chang Yuan said with a bitter smile.

"Sorry, I thought you two were lovers. Then I'll excuse myself," said the doctor, leaving Chang Yuan.

 Chang Yuan stepped into the room. He looked at Jean, who had an IV line in her hand. Her eyes were closed as a soft snoring could be heard. Her lips looked pale and dark circles appeared on her eyelids.

 Chang Yuan reached out his hand to touch Jean's forehead. The heat had started to drop and even sweat was dripping from her forehead. Chang Yuan could breathe a sigh of relief because Jean was fine.

 There was Chang Yuan's desire to tell Dae Hyun about what Park Soo Hyun had done to Jean. But he had not had the time and opportunity to meet his boss.

 Chang Yuan also intended to follow his boss no matter what. He can't work with other people. Moreover, how could he remain in the hotel while the person who had recruited him was no longer there.

 The night was getting late, Chang Yuan was getting sleepy so he leaned back on the chair then slowly closed his eyes.

Jean slowly opened her eyes because the bright light made her dazzle. Then she looked around the white room. The smell of medicine immediately pierced her sense of smell.

 Jean wanted to stretch her stiff muscles. However, it was difficult because of the IV that was attached to her hand.

 "Where am I?" Jean muttered as she groped the bed until she accidentally touched someone's hair.

 Jean immediately turned her face to see who was beside her. His position was facing down so that Jean could not guess with certainty. But judging from his hairstyle and appearance, it seemed that Jean recognized him. After observing for a while carefully, it turned out to be Chang Yuan.

 "Assistant Chang?" Jean's brows knitted. How could she be in the hospital with Chang Yuan?

 Jean tried to remember what happened last night. She woke up from her sleep when she heard a knock on the door.

 Jean couldn't bear to wake Chang Yuan up. She felt bad because last night she had troubled the man.

Her throat felt thirsty because she hadn't been drinking since yesterday. Her hand reached out to reach the glass that was on the nightstand. But the glass was a bit out of reach. So that only her fingertips that could touch the glass.

 The glass slipped to the floor, causing Chang Yuan to startle and straighten himself up.

 "What's the matter, Jean?" Chang Yuan reflexively stood up. 

 "Sorry, I woke you up. I just wanted to get a glass because I was thirsty," said Jean while biting her lower lip.

 "Why don't you ask me for help?" said Chang Yuan while looking at the floor that was littered with broken glass.

 "I just didn't want to disturb your sleep," said Jean while looking down.

 Chang Yuan then walked to the dispenser and poured warm water into the glass.

 "Drink, you should have woken me up. No need to hesitate," said Chang Yuan. Then crouched down to pick up one by one the shards of glass that were scattered on the floor.. Pushed it to the side so it wouldn't get stepped on.
