Chapter 1937 - 1933: Stirring Up Trouble on Purpose

After he finished speaking, he went back to teaching.

It was a multimedia class, so everyone could just mess around on the computers as they liked.

They just had to hand in a PPT when class ended.

He came down to check everyone’s work, and suddenly walked over to Ye Ning’s side, only to see Ye Ning looking like she had nothing to do.

It was the first time Ye Ning had attended this course; everyone else was working on assignments they’d been given earlier, so of course Ye Ning had no idea what she was supposed to be doing.

Seeing that Ye Ning wasn’t doing anything, the greasy teacher slapped the desk. "Late, and you still don’t bother to work in class. Ha, I know all about you. Ever since you came to this school, you haven’t done a single thing that has anything to do with studying."

Ye Ning said, "Teacher, I just got here, how am I supposed to know..."

"Enough, save your breath. I know students like you the best. You’re not interested in learning anything; you just spend your family’s money to come here and waste time. But you need to understand, if you want to waste your own time that’s one thing—don’t waste other people’s time, don’t waste everyone’s resources. This seat of yours, you could give it to anyone else and they’d be able to do a lot of things, do proper things, do something meaningful. But you sitting here, you’re just taking up space. You’re a piece of trash, hogging this spot—aren’t you ashamed?"

Trash?

Ye Ning slowly stood up.

Over there.

Gu Qingcheng silently walked over.

The teacher glared at Ye Ning. "You’re even glaring at me? What, you want to hit me too? Come on then, hit me. And once you hit me, I’ll tell you right now, I’m going to cling to you. Your family can spend however much it takes to treat me. I’ll stick to you for the rest of my life."

Gu Qingcheng tugged at Ye Ning. "Tang Wan, forget it. Come over here, I’ll teach you how to do it."

Ye Ning looked at Gu Qingcheng, then at that teacher, narrowed her eyes slightly, and said, "Fine, I’ll go do it. I’m a good student—I don’t fight."

The teacher snorted.

He watched Ye Ning with a smug little smile of victory.

Ye Ning said nothing and sat down calmly.

The teacher swayed off and left this area.

Gu Qingcheng looked at Ye Ning. "Let it go, that’s just how this teacher is."

Ye Ning shook her head. "It’s fine, you can go."

"You’re not clueless, you just missed the last class, right? I’ll teach you."

"No need." Ye Ning said. "You can go back, it’s fine. I’ll look at it myself."

"Are you really okay?"

"Of course. You think I’m actually scared of him? I’m just giving you face."

Gu Qingcheng sighed and shook his head. "Alright then."

A few classmates looked over here, even more surprised.

Gu Qingcheng, who only ever cared about studying, had actually come over on his own to help Ye Ning, and they even looked that close.

He went back to continue working on his assignment.

Ye Ning, however, turned on the computer.

The computer was running a bit slow.

But this sort of thing was nothing to a Special Agents operative.

As long as there was a computer and she could piggyback on someone’s network, it was doable.

She flexed her wrist, glanced toward the front, narrowing her eyes at the front desk.

Her fingers started moving deftly.

She linked into several networks at once.

And then, something suddenly happened over at the teacher’s station...

He was sitting there, not even sure what he was looking at, propping his head on his hand, grinning at the screen...

Suddenly.

Someone down below noticed something.

"Whoa, teacher..."

"Whoa, what’s that..."

"Oh wow, why is teacher watching that..."

The greasy teacher heard people talking, lifted his head and frowned. "Do your assignments. What are you all doing? Whoever doesn’t finish will stay behind after class. I’m telling you, the people I hate most are the ones who don’t do proper work."

The boy in the very front row burst out laughing.
