Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 812: The Ultimate Ctrl Z Cultivator
The crystalline spears dissolved into streams of pale-blue divine energy before they could reach Asterion.
Elysara stared at the phenomenon, her expression becoming increasingly serious. "What exactly did you do?"
Asterion calmly examined the fading energy. "I merely returned your creations to their original state."
Elysara frowned. "Their original state?"
He nodded. "Before those spears existed, they were simply divine energy shaped by your will."
Asterion lowered his hand. "I returned them to that condition."
Elysara narrowed her eyes.
"So that’s his ability. He can reverse the transformation of constructed phenomena."
She immediately raised both hands.
[Divine Creation: Celestial Arsenal!]
Dozens of crystalline weapons materialized around her, each carrying different divine attributes.
However, rather than launching them simultaneously, Elysara divided the weapons into several groups.
The first group accelerated toward Asterion.
He casually extended his fingers.
[Origin Art: Primal Reversion!]
The approaching weapons immediately disintegrated into their original divine energy.
However, Elysara had already anticipated that response.
The second group approached from behind while the third descended from above.
Asterion calmly turned, dissolving another group before stepping sideways to avoid the remaining attacks.
One crystalline spear grazed his shoulder.
A thin line of blood appeared across his white robe.
Elysara smiled faintly. "So your ability isn’t absolute."
Asterion glanced at the wound before nodding. "Naturally. Every technique has limitations."
He raised his hand again. "Although understanding those limitations doesn’t necessarily mean you can exploit them."
Elysara immediately summoned several enormous crystalline guardians.
However, this time, their bodies were constructed using multiple layers of different divine materials.
Some possessed solid crystalline armor, while others contained concentrated elemental energy.
[Divine Creation: Thousandfold Materialization!]
The guardians charged simultaneously.
Asterion calmly observed their movements.
"She’s combining different creation principles to complicate my analysis."
He extended his hand toward the first guardian.
Its outer armor immediately dissolved. However, the internal structure remained intact.
The guardian swung its enormous fist toward him.
BANG!
Asterion blocked with his forearm, but the impact pushed him several meters backward.
Elysara immediately smiled. "Your Origin Manipulation requires you to understand the composition of your target, doesn’t it?"
Asterion lowered his arm. "To an extent."
Elysara raised another hand. "Then let’s see how many different creations you can understand simultaneously."
Countless crystalline structures erupted around him.
Within moments, an enormous fortress surrounded Asterion, its walls constantly changing their material composition.
Some sections became solid crystal.
Others transformed into molten metal, divine stone, or concentrated elemental matter.
Asterion found himself trapped within an ever-changing labyrinth.
Elysara stood above the fortress, breathing heavily.
"This is probably my final opportunity."
She clenched her fists.
[Divine Creation: Endless Genesis Fortress!]
The entire structure began collapsing inward.
Asterion looked around calmly.
For the first time, his expression became slightly serious. "An impressive technique."
He placed one hand against the nearest wall. Silver-white radiance spread across its surface.
However, the wall immediately changed composition, interrupting the reversal process.
Asterion raised an eyebrow. "Interesting."
Elysara gritted her teeth as the fortress continued shrinking. "Let’s see whether you can return something to its origin when that origin keeps changing."
The surrounding walls accelerated toward him.
Asterion closed his eyes.
Instead of targeting the individual materials, he began examining the divine energy connecting the entire fortress.
After all, regardless of its countless transformations, the structure still depended on Elysara’s cultivated creation energy.
A faint smile appeared on his face. "I understand."
He slowly raised both hands.
[Origin Art: Genesis Severance!]
An extraordinary silver radiance erupted from his body.
However, rather than attempting to reverse the fortress’s materials, Asterion targeted the connections sustaining their existence.
The divine energy flowing between the countless structures suddenly separated.
CRAAAAACK!
The enormous fortress began collapsing.
Elysara’s eyes widened. "What?"
The crystalline walls lost their stability, dissolving into countless fragments.
Within moments, the magnificent fortress had completely disintegrated.
Asterion emerged from the falling debris, his white robes slightly damaged but his expression calm.
Elysara staggered backward.
Her remaining divine energy had been almost completely exhausted.
Asterion slowly approached. "Your creations are extraordinary. However, every creation requires something to sustain it."
Elysara clenched her fists. "So you attacked the foundation rather than the creation itself?"
Asterion nodded. "Precisely."
Elysara suddenly chuckled. "How troublesome. You’re practically the worst possible opponent for someone like me."
Asterion stopped several meters away. "Perhaps."
However, Elysara abruptly raised one trembling hand. A small crystalline dagger appeared between her fingers.
She immediately charged.
Asterion’s expression changed slightly.
"She’s attacking directly?"
Elysara thrust the dagger toward his chest.
However, Asterion calmly caught her wrist.
BANG!
He struck her abdomen with his palm, disrupting her remaining divine energy.
The crystalline dagger shattered.
Elysara staggered backward before collapsing onto one knee.
She attempted to stand, but her exhausted body refused to cooperate.
Asterion lowered his hand. "You’ve fought well."
Elysara smiled bitterly. "Unfortunately, not well enough."
Asterion nodded respectfully before delivering one final controlled strike.
Elysara lost consciousness.

[Candidate Elysara - Eliminated.]
[Remaining Candidates: 4]
---
Golden light descended upon Elysara, transporting her away.
Asterion slowly straightened his clothing before examining the shallow wound across his shoulder.
Although he had won, Elysara’s techniques had forced him to reveal more of his abilities than he originally intended.
Meanwhile, several kilometers away, Garion watched the battle with considerable interest. "Hehehe! Damn, that silver-haired bastard is pretty good."
Kaedros nodded seriously. "His ability is extremely troublesome. He can interfere with the fundamental structure of divine techniques."
Garion rubbed his chin. "So basically, he can turn fancy attacks back into useless energy?"
Kaedros frowned slightly. "That’s an oversimplification."
Garion laughed. "HAHAHA! Sounds about right to me."
However, Kaedros’s expression remained serious. "Don’t underestimate him. He didn’t merely neutralize those creations. He understood their underlying principles."
Garion glanced toward Asterion. "Hehehe! No wonder that bastard finished the second trial so quickly."
Across the battlefield, Seraphiel had also been observing Asterion’s confrontation.
Her golden eyes narrowed.
"Origin Manipulation... An ability capable of interfering with divine laws themselves?"
She slowly turned toward the remaining candidates.
Four individuals remained. The battle royale was approaching its final stage.
Above the arena, the Creator leaned forward with obvious delight.
[Hehehe! Wonderful. Only four candidates remain now.]
She rested her chin against her palm.
[And each of you possesses a completely different path toward supreme power.]
Her gaze shifted between the remaining finalists.
[Now then, my adorable candidates, which one of you will disappear next?]
Garion suddenly cracked his knuckles. "Hehehe! Well, old man, looks like our break is over."
Kaedros slowly raised his saber. "Indeed. I believe we have an unfinished confrontation."
However, before either could attack, a magnificent golden radiance suddenly descended between them.
Seraphiel appeared several meters away, her six divine wings spreading gracefully behind her.
Her expression remained composed. "Kaedros. I would like to challenge you."
Kaedros raised an eyebrow. "Me?"
Seraphiel nodded. "Your martial arts are impressive. I wish to determine whether they can overcome my divine authority."
Garion immediately frowned. "Oi, what about me?"
Seraphiel glanced toward him. "You’ve already fought several candidates. Surely, you can allow someone else a turn."
Garion stared at her before bursting into laughter. "HAHAHA! Fine, fine. Go ahead!"
He stepped backward, crossing his arms. "Hehehe! Let’s see whether the old man can beat an angel."
Kaedros sighed helplessly. "I really wish you’d stop calling me that."
Seraphiel raised one delicate hand, countless golden runes appearing around her.
Kaedros slowly lowered his stance, gripping his saber with both hands.
And with that, another extraordinary confrontation was about to begin.
